“efficient live chat”
Pros
Whenever I need help shopVOX's customer service has been outstanding. Wait times are usually very short, the support team is friendly and knows what they're doing and the live chat option is especially convenient when I have quick questions.
Cons
Every now and then I've run into a few quirks when importing into QB Desktop. It doesn't happen often and when it does come up, a support rep is usually able to resolve it very quickly.

“Great API links”
Pros
What really stands out to me is how well the help features are set up. Support replies almost immediately via chat so getting assistance is quick and painless. The application also connects very well with our financial management tools. That has made management reporting much simpler to handle.
Cons
Bringing a second user into the system costs more and that's been a problem for us. For a small business plan there should be at least 2 separate user accounts included especially for teams that need 2 independent logins while working from the same shared business data.

“support team not very accommodating”
Pros
There are a lot of solid features built into this software that I like. The job management system in particular is very well developed.
Cons
Customer care feels lacking and the team seems set in their own way of thinking. They act like their approach is the only correct one without much willingness to adapt or improve.

“Offers great tools for shop management”
Pros
Running a screen printing and embroidery shop day to day is a lot more manageable with Shopvox. It gives our management and production teams all the tools they need for scheduling, quoting order management and even handling proofs. It's been really impressive.
Cons
To be honest I never had a single problem with it.

“project dashboard gives full visibility into all tasks”
Pros
Having all projects and jobs displayed as tiles on a single Job Board screen makes staying organized really simple. It gives me a clear view of everything at once so I'm not left wondering whether I missed or forgot about a project.
Cons
Express version is missing the option to apply finance charges.

“Sudden 350% price hike turned us away”
Pros
At first I only had to pay for the modules I actually needed and that made it quite an affordable option.
Cons
The biggest problem was the abrupt price hike. 350% to be exact. The second problem was the way the founders responded when I raised the issue. I was basically told that if I didn't agree with the increase I could leave and look for another option. Way to lose a customer.

“simplifies large-order management”
Pros
Bulk order invoicing has become much more simplified with shopVOX. We haven't even officially started using all the features yet and that makes us even more excited to dig into everything it offers soon.
Cons
Unfortunately Zapier isn't available on every pricing tier.

“Consistent pricing made easy with preset lists”
Pros
Keeping pricing consistent across all our quotes and invoices has been much easier with Shopvox since it lets us save preset price lists for each product type. It has made things quite convenient.

There's not much to complain about.

“strong proofing tools and QB connection”
Pros
The proofing tools, email templates and QuickBooks integration have been really useful in my daily work.
Cons
I'd say there's definitely a steep learning curve since I really had to dedicate myself to learning it. And while the tools are great the Express version feels pretty limited in what it can do.

“too many bugs”
Pros
It connects with my payment processor and my vendors which is definitely helpful for keeping things linked together.
Cons
There are a lot of bugs and the shopVOX branding shows up on emails, quotes and other customer facing items even though I'm paying $99 a month for the service. I'm not even sure whether that branding can be removed. Additionally the workflow feels very repetitive. After finishing a sales order I still have to close it, click again for the invoice and then click again to post it to the account. It's just too many steps when time is already tight.

“Rigid backend, needs a full redesign”
Pros
Starting a new order and entering its details is quite simple with this software. It also makes it convenient to create a new job, add what the customer is ordering and send the quote, sales order or invoice directly to the client from within the system. But the frontend capability is overshadowed by the backend performance. The backend configuration is so rigid and convoluted that it fails for businesses with non-standard workflows.ing
Cons
Backend is not user friendly at all. Even something as basic as pricing items correctly is unnecessarily difficult to figure out. The system desperately needs a complete redesign by experienced UI/UX designers because its current state is genuinely frustrating. We've been using the software for nearly two years and still haven't managed to set up pricing properly. The system also seems to assume every sign shop operates in one specific way. Many of the options, features and settings aren't even useful for us. We mostly just use this software to generate invoices but we end up typing everything in manually including product names, fabrication instructions and pricing. It works well enough as a tool to build and bill an invoice but it does not make product setup or pricing easy. The backend is so confusing that it feels like it would require a full-time person spending months inside the system just to get it working the way shopvox expect. We even hired someone who specializes in Shopvox backend setup and he told us it would take months to get everything configured. Even though he already knows the system inside out. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me.

“Transparency across all business activity”
Pros
In my opinion it gives a clear picture of what's coming into the business and what's going out which makes it much easier to stay on top of overall activity.
Cons
The quoting setup feels like it works only as a simple multiplier. For example when printing business cards a quantity of 10 just gets multiplied by 1 even though there would normally be a real price break in that kind of order.

“fantastic tracking and invoicing”
Pros
We've used shopvox for nearly 4 years and we're still really happy with it. The setup was definitely complex so I'd strongly suggest using their implementation services unless you have someone on staff who knows both your workflow and software installation well enough to focus on the rollout. Shopvox is totally worth it. It makes following the progress of sign build-outs, print jobs and installations incredibly simple. Plus the invoicing works well with payment options included. The Quickbooks Online integration also integrates smoothly.
Cons
It would be great if admin users could edit all lists especially purchase order status codes. I'd also appreciate sortable columns across every transaction list.

“Capable user-friendly ERP”
Pros
After working with several MRP/ERP systems, this one is simple to use while still being very capable. Their customer support is excellent as well and the team responds very quickly whenever assistance is needed.
Cons
Shop Scheduler and Shop Calendar are weak. That being said though support did mention that this would be improved in the upcoming update.

“accessible product-focused workflow”
Pros
The product-based setup made a lot more sense to me than systems built around internal processes. It's much more natural for customers to work with familiar terms like signs, business cards and vehicle wraps instead of having to think in terms of printing, cutting or installation steps. Customers are looking for finished products not a lesson in how those products get made. Shopvox has a much more accessible approach.
Cons
Having stronger documentation organized around how the system works would make this go from good to perfect.

Pros
Setup was very fast. I found the whole system to be very user friendly and easyto implement in daily work.
