I recently had an amazing experience working with Spot On, specifically with customer support team. I have to say, the service I received was exceptional. Right from the moment we inquired about their Point of Sale (POS) system, the customer support team was very attentive, knowledgeable and went the extra mile to ensure we got the best possible deal. One thing that really stood out during our interaction was the competitive rate they offered for their POS system. Not only did Spot On match the rates of a popular POS system but they actually surpassed it which was a delightful surprise. It clearly demonstrated their commitment to providing value to their customers. Furthermore, customer support team member expertise and professionalism were evident throughout the entire process. He took the time to fully understand our specific needs and tailored the solution accordingly. He patiently addressed all our questions and concerns, ensuring we felt completely confident in our decision. Overall, I highly recommend Spot On to anyone seeking a reliable POS system and exceptional service. Their competitive rates and personalized approach make them an outstanding choice in the industry.

Cons

A few months ago, we encountered issues with credit card processing. They quickly identified that the software was outdated and promptly updated it, resolving the problem.

Pros

I really like the fact that I can accomplish more work from home using my own computer.

Cons

There is not much to say. The equipment is faulty and we have already replaced a kitchen printer and a monitor. We are currently waiting to see what will go wrong next.

Customer Support tema is the best!

Pros

I really like how user-friendly it is. It is great that we are able to accept tap and chip payments. The best part is that whenever we encounter an issue, customer support team helps us resolve it quickly. He never gives up even when we face challenges.

Cons

It lacks integration with Paylocity for payroll purposes.

Customer support team is STELLAR

Pros

Customer support team is absolutely outstanding! We have been fortunate to work with him for the past 6 months. He is a truly multi-talented individual. He has been instrumental in troubleshooting and resolving printer issues (hardware) and addressing programming issues (software) related to our integration with R365 accounting. He is always easy to work with and quick to respond. He is willing to dive deep into our issues and find effective solutions. We thoroughly enjoy working with him.

Cons

Early on, we noticed that the company was growing too fast and encountering difficulties. There were numerous instances of communication breakdowns and the release of faulty features. The reporting sites would often go down during busy shifts, which eroded our teams trust. We really want to implement handheld devices for our servers, but the product is completely different from the workstation. It is like teaching someone to use two different systems. Please make them consistent and do it soon!

I really love the format of the SpotOn screen. It feels quite similar to using an app in many ways.

Cons

The software is not easily programmable without assistance. I refuse to call on weekends and I have never been able to reach an English-speaking person on a Saturday.

Pros

It is too early to determine at this point. Compared to our previous system, there is really no noticeable difference.

Cons

The implementation process was poorly coordinated, and there was inadequate communication. Appointments were canceled and constantly rescheduled. They have no understanding of our business model and ownership because they never asked.

Pros

As the owner of a restaurant, my days are filled with countless tasks and responsibilities. I cannot afford to spend time programming menus, promos and pricing events. Thats why its such a relief to know that I can reach out to customer support team at a moments notice to handle those tasks for me. It frees up my limited time to focus on more high-level activities. I trust custom support team to get things done accurately and quickly.

Cons

The cost of equipment that remains unused for several months due to seasonal fluctuations is a concern.

Pros

The service and the actual product are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Cons

I really like the SMS Marketing feature that allows me to send messages to customers. It is also great that customers receive an e-card notification when they purchase an e-card.

Just the Begining

Pros

I like the flexibility it offers when it comes to hardware. It allows us to have multiple registers and handheld devices.

Cons

The handheld device still needs improvement. While it can take orders, the process to create an order is multi-step and becomes stressful when we are busy. Additionally, the device has a scanner but cannot scan UPC codes, so we have to manually enter orders, which is inefficient.
