This is unlike anything I have ever experienced. It is terrible. I would not recommend wasting your time and money on it.

Good system for the money

Pros

The sales and installation teams were extremely helpful. The onsite training was done very well.

Cons

I am still a bit confused about the reporting and deposits compared to Square, which I used before. It could also benefit from additional features for invoicing.

A Bit of a Roller Coaster

Pros

It is not like Square in terms of being an app, and the handheld devices do not rely on Wi-Fi. Also it is also fairly user-friendly. The implementation and installation teams have been great.

Cons

Once our new system was approved, our rep seemed to disappear. I am still waiting for the rest of my equipment and for my organization to be properly set up, but there have not been any follow-ups.

Pros

I have to say, the customer service is very very poor and I am not satisfied at all.

Cons

They continued to charge me customer fees even after months of speaking to someone about changing it. After the last incident, they locked all my funds and prevented my transactions from going through. It is been a terrible service experience.

Pros

The customer service has been exceptional, and the variety of features it offers will be helpful as we continue to grow.

Cons

Gift Card System needs a lot of work

Pros

I do not have anything good to mention as I have only used it as a customer at an establishment that uses SpotOn.

Cons

There is no online option for customers to check their gift card balance. When I reached out to customer support, it took multiple back-and-forth emails for them to provide me with the balance on my two gift cards. Unfortunately, both balances they sent me were incorrect. Every other gift card in my wallet allows me to check the balance online except for this one.

Pros

I am not happy at all. They have not even installed it yet but I have already been billed. I signed up a week ago.

Cons

Pros

I cannot find anything positive. The staff does not like it at all and the customer service is the worst have ever encountered in any industry. I have owned over 100 businesses in my career.

Cons

Everything about it is terrible! I consistently receive the worst service from top to bottom.

Pros

Customer support team members were very helpful in ensuring that our expo screen worked according to our needs. If he couldnot assist with certain features we wanted to use, he would research how to make them work for us. In short customer support team has always been a great help in quickly answering my questions and directing me to the right person for assistance.

Cons

The order entering screen often requires more steps than it should, making it more complicated than necessary.

POS System

Pros

The POS system was fairly easy to learn. It only took me about 2 days to get the hang of it. It is also quick and efficient when closing up at night which reduces the amount of paperwork we have to handle. My employees love it.

Cons

The letters on the receipt should be bigger and bolder. Additionally, the names of our delivery services like Doordash, Uber, Postmate, and Grubhub need to be larger and darker on the ticket.

Horrible service

Pros

Unfortunately, we never had the chance to use it. We signed up with a friendly sales representative, but when the package arrived for setup, we discovered that he had been fired. We struggled to find someone to come and set up the machine.

Cons

They keep charging us for the service, even though we never set it up. We returned the processing machine, yet we still receive monthly bills.

I have nothing positive to say about this system. Honestly, there is not a single good thing I can mention.

Cons

It is frustrating that they do not allow us to start a tab with American Express or make adjustments to a tip if it was entered incorrectly. It is absurd that the system does not have a fail-safe function to prevent a 1-million percent tip.

Customer support is always amazing!

Pros

I am very much impressed with the variety of tools available to improve my marketing campaigns. I start by sending emails and then we implement a rewarding program that offers discounts to customers. Additionally, we have tools that enable online reservations and a waiting list, which is really helpful on busy days. SpotOn provides numerous benefits, including integration with Doordash, Uber Eats and other platforms for online orders, e-gift cards and much more.

Cons

I would love to incorporate text message notifications for customers. Another business offers an AI system to filter phone calls and connect with genuine customers. If we implement this, we will be the first to do so.

Pros

To be honest, we have not implemented the service yet because we needed some customizations to be made to the software in order to make it work properly in our establishment. However customer support team was very helpful in guiding us and providing excellent support throughout the process.

Cons

Programming pizzas correctly to avoid issues for both the restaurant and the customer is challenging. Based on my experience, almost no pizza restaurant without its own system uses the software correctly.
