Amalia Features
Flexible Plan Designer
This feature empowers administrators to build and modify complex commission structures without needing coding skills or external consultants. By using a logical, block-based interface, operations teams can autonomously adjust territories, quotas, and accelerators. This adaptability ensures compensation strategies stay aligned with evolving business goals.
Real-Time Performance Visibility
Amalia features ‘Real Time Performance Visibility’ which allows sales representatives to get immediate access to personalized dashboards displaying their current achievement levels and potential earnings. This transparency motivates teams by showing exactly how specific deals impact their commission payouts in real time. It effectively removes calculation ambiguity, fostering trust between sales and finance.
Automated Data Synchronization
Amalia acts as a single source of truth by aggregating data from CRM, ERP, and HRIS systems. This continuous integration eliminates manual data entry and drastically reduces the risk of calculation errors. Finance teams can thus rely on accurate, up-to-date data for every payout cycle.
Advanced Scenario Forecasting
The platform includes analysis tools that allow management to simulate the financial impact of potential plan changes before implementation. Leaders can project future commission costs based on different performance hypotheses and pipeline scenarios. This foresight aids accurate budget planning and prevents unexpected financial variances.
Streamlined Validation Workflows
Amalia digitizes the dispute and approval process, creating a clear audit trail for every commission payout. Sales reps can flag discrepancies directly within the platform, triggering automated notifications for managers to resolve issues. This structured approach accelerates the payroll timeline and reduces friction during closing.

“fantastic support and transparency”
Pros
One of the best parts of using this software has been how responsive and helpful the customer support team is. Whether we have a quick question or a more complicated issue, they're always available and willing to jump in. The interface is also very user friendly for end users which has made it much easier for our sales team to understand and stay engaged with their compensation plans. Using Slack as part of the communication process adds a lot of transparency and keeps everyone aligned. Our sales department has been very happy with it and it also stands out that their team goes beyond just offering software, they actively work with us to help shape commission plans that actually function well.
Cons
On the admin side, the experience could be better. While it works very well for end users, the administrative functions (especially the designer feature) aren't as accessible as they could be. When larger changes are needed, we often end up depending on customer support to get them done.

“flexible setup”
Pros
Biggest advantage is the flexibility to adapt the platform to your own model. Having direct access to the internal consultant whenever something comes up is also a huge plus. It feels very convenient to be able to share ideas and see the consultant quickly translate them into the system. The training is also really helpful since it gives you the autonomy to handle the setup and deal with incidents on your own.
Cons
Speed of data updates could be improved. Google Sheets has not been working well because of formatting issues. That said, the consultant support is very efficient. It might work better to rely on Excel sheets instead especially to make data dumps faster and more agile.
