“Good for marketers”
Pros
Standout part of the platform is definitely its email functionality and campaign tools. From a marketer's perspective, being able to use email signatures as custom, targeted touchpoints is incredibly valuable. With this solution, clients can view an email banner and click directly to an extra piece of collateral or a webpage, all from within the email itself. That works especially well for seasonal or quarterly initiatives. It also makes outreach much easier for our reps since it automatically applies the right campaign to each email.
Cons
My biggest frustration with the platform is the inconsistency in performance and the overall user experience. Even though the help desk is consistently available and helpful, certain features still don't seem to load properly when I'm updating campaigns or uploading new sender groups and targeted lists.

“product growth with customer focus”
Pros
It's clear the company is putting real effort into making sure the product keeps evolving alongside what customers need.
Cons
A few tools and reporting features that feel like standard requirements are still sitting on the roadmap although they are actively working to add them.

“great lead depth for every stage”
Pros
There's a wide range of verified leads available which makes it really useful for running multiple programs and supporting different stages of the marketing pipeline.
Cons
Getting the most out of the platform does take some expertise since it's better suited to intermediate and advanced users than complete beginners.

“smooth campaigns and lead delivery”
Pros
Working with the team has been a really positive experience and the whole process of launching campaigns and getting leads delivered feels smooth.
Cons
Since content syndication naturally needs more nurturing before prospects are ready to speak with sales, this creates an opportunity to handle that nurturing either internally or through DemandScience to further qualify the leads.

“simple workflow”
Pros
Getting around the platform is very easy so it doesn't take long to figure out where to go or how to complete exactly what you need quickly.
Cons
Honestly nothing stands out as a problem. I don't have any complaints about the platform.

“strong ROI from syndication”
Pros
Over the past 3+ years, we've run content syndication campaigns with it and consistently seen a positive ROI from our programs particularly with our install-base campaigns.
Cons
There have been a couple of small hiccups along the way but the CSM has stayed on top of them. There's really not much to dislike.

“good leads at fair cost”
Pros
Pricing feels reasonable and the leads have been good quality.
Cons
Issue is that the account team comes across as overly sales-focused and a bit too eager to get signed IOs.

“targeted campaigns that just work”
Pros
Has been especially useful for niche-focused marketing. It has helped us build highly targeted campaigns for our key accounts and achieve a strong response rate. The platform also syncs well with our CRM which keeps sales and marketing aligned instead of having them work through separate processes. On top of that, the analytics and reporting features provide a full view of optimization performance making it easier to fine-tune our campaigns.
Cons
One challenge is that several features come with a pretty steep learning curve. Getting comfortable with all the tools in the application can be difficult especially for new users. In addition, integrations with other systems are not always smooth and we have run into data syncing issues once or twice. Those problems have occasionally slowed down our campaign rollout and limited parts of our analysis.

“transparent leads”
Pros
Right from the start, they've been very transparent and the leads they've delivered have been clean, relevant and clearly organized.
Cons
Since our program is still ongoing, there really hasn't been anything to dislike at this point.

“Met our requirements”
Pros
This was nothing like a typical content syndication campaign. We came in with a very specific requirement and DemandScience put together a customized campaign that matched exactly what we needed. Other content syndication vendors had already told us they couldn't support that kind of request so it was refreshing to work with a team that could.
Cons
Honestly I haven't had any negative experience with them so far.

“strong intent data for sales”
Pros
The data gives us a clear way to spot prospects who are actually in-market for our solutions. Sharing that intent data with the sales team has become a regular part of my Monday morning routine.
Cons
A few features aren't very accessible and customizing reports can be frustrating more often than it should be.

“Transition support”
Pros
Using this software has been a very positive experience! I worked with it for quite some time before handing daily operations over to another teammate and it handled that transition really well. Their team provided solid support throughout the change and did an excellent job training the new person.
Cons
There really isn't anything I dislike about the platform. If anything, it currently includes more features than we actively use but it's still a very strong service overall.

“simple navigation, frequent outages”
Pros
Getting around the platform is the part I appreciate most since the layout makes navigation easy throughout the system.
Cons
I regularly run into technical problems especially when a server goes down and I often end up reaching out to support. It feels like the platform should operate more reliably.

“better branding in signatures”
Pros
It gives us stronger control over how our brand looks in email signatures.
Cons
I haven't run into many issues with the platform overall. The only thing that could be improved is onboarding since the training could go into more depth but the interface is user friendly and pretty self-explanatory.

“Quick campaigns”
Pros
Creating target account lists and launching campaigns is really easy and our account managers have been fantastic! Very supportive and helpful whenever we need them.
Cons
One thing I don't like is that there's no way to backdate data in the Engagement Funnel.
