“Quotes flexible with live tracking”
Pros
Quoter works really well for creating quotes because I can draft them, make changes, preview everything and keep updating the document before it's finally published. It's also really useful that I can include logos, signatures, payment options and a lot of other details directly inside quotes and documents.
Cons
One small thing is that I still like to personally confirm the email was sent. It does provide real time tracking, so you can see when someone opens it, clicks it and more, which is very helpful. Still I also prefer seeing it from my own inbox and it's nice that I can download the PDF and send it from there too.

“Discounts work without accounting mess”
Pros
Showing sales discounts without affecting the accounting books has been incredibly convenient. The layout is simple and very user-friendly, which makes the whole process simple to work through.
Cons
Something that could make it even better is broader company integration. It does a fantastic job with estimates but adding crew schedules, service tickets and project folders would help bring everything across the company into one connected system instead of spreading it out over multiple platforms.

“support stays reliable”
Pros
Quoter is very user friendly and the setup process was simple overall. Integrations were also painless to connect and the support team was excellent whenever help was needed.
Cons
The initial setup still took a bit of time and there was definitely a learning curve at the beginning but once everything was in place, it has been running reliably ever since.

“easy to use”
Pros
Getting new staff up to speed takes almost no time because the platform is very easy to use. Creating quotes is also incredibly fast, which saves us a lot of time. On top of that the support team is among the best I've dealt with as they are quick to respond and genuinely personal in the way they help.
Cons
Its integration with our PSA software could be better. That said it does pay attention to customer feedback, they've acknowledged this and I'm confident it will improve over time.

“Quoting system really stands out”
Pros
Compared with the other programs we've used, the quoting system here has been far better. The interface is user friendly, which makes it much simpler to work with and it gives me a more granular level of control than the competitor software I was using.
Cons
The only trouble I ran into was with the stored product pool but that was really due to me not taking the time to learn how to use it correctly.

“Flexible options for accepting quotes”
Pros
One of the best parts is the click to accept feature and I really like being able to let customers approve quotes either with a required deposit or without one.
Cons
Getting comfortable with the system took a bit of time at first although part of that was due to how my company introduced and rolled it out to the team.

“workflow moves much faster”
Pros
Before using it we were building quotes in Excel spreadsheets, so switching over made the whole process much faster and a lot more convenient.
Cons
One thing we were missing was more control over customization especially the layout of items on the finalized quote since there were a few details we would have liked to adjust.

“Support team always there when needed”
Pros
Having a support rep who is always available has been the most valuable part for me. Whenever a question comes up, she's there right away to help.
Cons
At this point I haven't run into any issues and honestly don't have any complaints.

“Great support makes everything easier”
Pros
Quoter has been very user-friendly and easy to work with and the customer service from their team has been excellent.

The thing it still lacks is an e-commerce solution that would add the extra functionality my clients have come to expect.

“Quotes sync fast with PSA”
Pros
Being able to connect it directly with our PSA has been a big win for us. We can put quotes together quickly, send them through for approval and turn those approved quotes into tickets in just a few minutes.
Cons
One limitation is that importing our item and product list from the PSA doesn't work especially well and the communication only goes one way. When something changes on the PSA side in our item or service list, we have to go into it and update it manually. Because of that we don't depend much on its item list and usually end up rebuilding items by hand each time. There are also a few quirks we've had to figure out over time for example handling a quote a certain way can cause the integration to fail. Even with that, these issues are fairly minor compared with the overall value the product gives us.

“tracking stays reliable”
Pros
Putting together quotes in Quoter is really easy and sending them off to clients is just as convenient. The email tracking has bailed me out more than once by helping avoid misunderstandings with clients and having that paper trail is a big plus.
Cons
Well the frustrating limitation comes up when working with US and Canadian quotes. If I accidentally save a Canadian quote in US funds, I can't go back and change the currency afterward because the option is greyed out.

“handy draft tools”
Pros
The thing I like is putting together multiple quotes is really convenient and being able to save drafts helps a lot. It's also useful to pull up past customers and older quotes whenever I need them.
Cons
At the beginning it was a little hard to locate everything. I'd also love to see the tax rate automatically attached to the quote.

“Decent tool”
Pros
Getting this platform in place pays off quickly because it produces picture perfect quotes with very little effort. Updating product details, quantities, or extending quote validity is easy, which saves a lot of time. The biggest advantage is how simple it is to enroll clients into recurring subscriptions. It also integrates well with CRMs, payment gateways and plenty of other tools. Multicurrency support is another major benefit. Overall the setup process is easy and approachable, so you do not need to be highly technical to use it well. Once everything is configured, it just keeps working reliably year after year.
Cons
Honestly, there is not much to complain about. The team stays proactive about adding features that experienced users actually want, with multiple releases throughout the year. One recent update that allows optional line items has been incredibly helpful and the addition of custom reporting has also made day to day work much easier.

“Quotes look professional every time”
Pros
Every sale we make and often a customer's first impression of our company starts with a quote. Plus it has really helped us present our products in a much more organized and professional way.
Cons
The thing we'd still love to have is the ability to search quoted items and pull data on specific SKUs that have already been included in quotes.

“Great integrations”
Pros
Using Quoter has been a really positive experience especially because it's so easy to use and integrates well with the other tools we rely on like PipeDrive, Basecamp, Slack and Autotask. Our reps has also been amazing as they are always quick to respond and incredibly helpful. She's even stepped in to assist with PipeDrive problems, even though that isn't part of her software.
Cons
One area that gets a little confusing is version management. I can't delete older versions because then I lose the ability to copy a quote, which honestly doesn't make much sense since it seems like copying shouldn't depend on keeping the original version. The reporting side also feels limited since it's basically just raw data exported to Excel. It would be much more useful to have dashboard-style reports that are ready to present in internal meetings.

“saves us so much time”
Pros
Getting quotes created and sent out is really quick, which saves a lot of time. It's also a big plus that clients can build their own quotes when we choose to give them access.
Cons
Cleaning up retired or older items is harder than it should be. It would help a lot to have sorting by date added and last modified so outdated services or items can be found and removed more easily.

“All quoting done in one place”
Pros
Almost my whole sales process can be managed from a single quote or email, which has been a huge plus. We've built our contracts right into the templates and that works really well for both managed services and hardware sales.
Cons
The platform is getting regular updates, which is good but I'd still love to see default text available in custom fields. More advanced PSA items like billable products, also don't currently import into templates, so they have to be added through the proposal instead, which is a bit frustrating.

“smooth onboarding process”
Pros
Right from the start we had a really positive experience because their support team helped build the forms around our current quote and contract proposal templates. That made the onboarding process feel very tailored to our workflow. The platform itself is very easy to use and manage, updates can be made without much effort and putting together quotations is fast and efficient.
Cons
One area that could be better is the quote search functionality since it's not very strong when it comes to sorting or categorizing quotes by company, contact, or product category. I'd also be interested in seeing integrations with Amazon or Newegg although I realize that's not necessarily standard. The quoting tools are fast and simple overall but I do run into some limitations when trying to customize line items exactly how I want. For instance I can't insert text dividers between line items to separate different sections of a quote. The default template does a good job of itemizing categories at the bottom but having more ways to visually break up and define sections would be a nice improvement.

“Good pricing that fits us well”
Pros
The product is very user friendly and it integrates really well with the other systems we use. The pricing was also far more competitive than a lot of alternatives and the fixed monthly fee made a big difference for us compared with per-user pricing, which became very expensive when we looked at other options. We have a small group of users who only create quotes once in a while, so it didn't make sense to pay the high monthly costs other vendors were proposing. Quoter is simple but it handles exactly what we need exceptionally well.
Cons
Honestly, I can't point to any problems we've run into while using it. It consistently works well for us and delivers exactly what we need.

“quote options are limited”
Pros
Its interface is very user-friendly and it integrates with a wide range of third-party applications, which is definitely helpful.
Cons
Customization is extremely limited when it comes to the appearance and layout of the quotes customers receive, aside from adding company logos. Also it keeps rolling out improvements but many of those changes end up removing features we already rely on and disrupting our business workflows. Even worse these updates are usually implemented without any advance notice, which can leave the platform unusable for as much as a day while we rush to figure out what changed and how to adjust our integrations or internal processes.
