Real-time dashboards

Pros

Running client query management and case analysis through this software has worked really well for us. It feels like one of the best options available right now because it's user-friendly and especially strong when it comes to building realtime dashboards. Setting up a dashboard doesn't take much effort either, once the requirements are defined, reports can be pulled whenever they're needed. Overall, I've been very pleased using this software in our day-to-day production work for managing client queries.

Cons

One area that could definitely improve is self-customization. Different teams within the organization have different requirements and right now we still depend on developers to customize the final output which can be limiting. Another frustrating issue is that user IDs get blocked or dropped if they aren't used for some time and having to recreate the ID again is quite a tough process.

Very user-friendly and simple

Pros

Getting around this software is incredibly easy. Honestly even a toddler with a little training could figure it out. It walks you through how to use it and if you know the basics of using a computer, you'll have no trouble working with it.

Cons

There are times when it gets a bit glitchy and occasionally it doesn't respond the way you expect or do what you ask. Still, if you have a decent IT department backing you up, it usually isn't a major problem.

Web-based CRM with powerful features

Pros

One thing I really appreciate is that it's built as a web application. A lot of older CRMs still need a server and a developer just to get everything installed and running and that adds a major cost to the whole process.

Cons

At the same time, its biggest weakness can also be part of its value. There are so many options available that getting everything configured can feel pretty intimidating. Having that level of flexibility is nice but it's also easy to get buried in the details while setting things up. It reminds me a bit of Google AdWords, almost like trying to fly a 747 with all the dials and switches, where things can get complicated fast.

Forecasting and flexibility

Pros

Back when I worked in corporate America as an account manager and later as a program manager, I used this platform extensively even though I am not using it in my business today. A big reason it left such a strong impression on me was how user-friendly and simple the interface felt for managing activities and customer interactions. I am sure it has evolved a lot since then but even at that time it was an excellent system. The features I relied on most were the email tools and the callback scheduling which honestly worked almost like having an assistant. Earlier in my account manager role, I handled forecasting without fully realizing how valuable it was to track projected revenue by account and service manager. That really clicked for me once I moved into a national program manager position. I even partnered with engineers to create a custom promotional code so I could monitor revenue for my program through deals forecasted by my coworkers. It took a lot of effort but it became a major milestone both for me and for the company because, for the first time, we could track revenue tied to a specific funding source. Now that I am an entrepreneur, I appreciate revenue forecasting even more so this definitely gets a thumbs up from me.

Cons

Honestly, there were not any features I disliked. If I had to point to one small downside, it would be that we needed to build a custom backend solution to track revenue for my program. Even then, that feels more like praise than criticism because the fact that the software could be adapted that way says a lot about how flexible it is.

Project control made easy

Pros

From small teams to large enterprises, SF feels very simple to use. It's highly customizable and offers great solutions for managing the full project or product lifecycle end to end. It handles both simple tasks and very complex ones efficiently. I rely on it every day to manage projects, keep ongoing work on track and stay in control of budgets.

Cons

Only real problem I ran into wasn't with the software itself but with support. I contacted them several times and the experience was inconsistent, ranging from very friendly and knowledgeable SMEs to basic support reps who seemed frustrated and had little to no understanding of the product. Thankfully, the software is strong and easy enough that needing support doesn't happen very often.

Lead tracking toolbox

Pros

It's been my go-to for years. Keeping tabs on leads and opportunities is really easy and there are plenty of ways to monitor every metric that matters for success.

Cons

There are so many customization options that it can be hard to know where to start. Having an SFDC admin to support the organization makes a big difference.

Organized hiring workflow

Pros

Keeping track of candidates, job openings, interviews and every stage of the process was really satisfying with this tool. It did an excellent job of keeping everything organized so nothing slipped through the cracks and it genuinely helped align the candidate-client workflow. There was never much uncertainty about where someone stood in the process or what skills a candidate had, as long as notes were entered consistently because everything stayed documented in one place. I also appreciated being able to code candidates and clients so they were easier to pull up in searches. On top of that, the search sorting and filtering features were all pretty easy to use.

Cons

There was definitely a bit of a learning curve at first. I also wasn't a fan of it being entirely web-based since internet issues could force it to close unexpectedly and it was a little too easy to accidentally close the tab or hit the back button and lose whatever I was working on.

Customer-focused and improving

Pros

There's a lot packed into this product in terms of features and functionality for users. It really feels like the product owners keep customers in mind and consistently work to provide the features people actually need.

Cons

Since the company is very innovative, the functionality keeps changing quite often. That means we have to adapt quickly, otherwise it can become confusing and turn into a mess later on.

Best-in-class reporting

Pros

Building reports in this CRM is incredibly easy. In just a few clicks, I can create reports organize the pipeline and prioritize which accounts need attention first. I've used other CRMs before and they really don't compare. This one feels best in class, both in functionality and in how simple it is to use.

Cons

Because every organization handles a lot of customization, it's really important to make sure the setup is tailored to the specific needs of the sales team.

Connected sales hub

Pros

Everything ties together in one place, marketing campaigns, email social media and even collaborative communities where customers can support one another. The analytics cloud is a favorite because it gives a fast snapshot of everything happening. It helps make sure no lead slips away due to missing information or lack of control.

Cons

Getting comfortable with it takes time and the huge number of features can feel overwhelming for smaller sales teams.

All-in-one account tracking

Pros

Having everything in one place has been a huge plus. The functionality and range of capabilities are fantastic and we use it to log all of our customer accounts, contacts and related details so nothing slips through the cracks. It really helps with managing accounts and keeping important contacts front and center. Being able to assign tasks and record notes or meetings that are easy to find again whenever we revisit an account is also incredibly useful.

Cons

A downside is that some features require paying extra and those added costs can become pretty expensive. On top of that, when a feature isn't available yet, users have to vote on it and it may take months or even years before it actually gets implemented.

Scalable CRM with extra clicks

Pros

It still leads the CRM market and scales really well, plus it's usable across our entire company without much trouble.

Cons

The updated look and feel seems to require more keystrokes and clicks to reach information than earlier versions. Before, everything was on one page and you could just scroll up or down to get to related items but now you have to move through several pages to find information that used to be available in one place.

Quick setup and flexible fit

Pros

Getting it up and running was easy and the value started showing almost immediately. It's also quite customizable and covers most needs right out of the box.

Cons

Negotiating special contract clauses is extremely difficult. In some markets, stricter regulations make those changes necessary so it becomes an ongoing back-and-forth between their legal team and ours.

User-friendly CRM that transformed workflows

Pros

A year into using it at our digital marketing agency and there's honestly no going back. We had been having a hard time putting great processes in place for the team but once we brought this in, a lot of those process and management problems were cleared up. The interface is very user-friendly and the team got comfortable with it right away without any struggle.

Cons

Even though I'd still call it the best CRM out there right now, the pricing does feel a little high. For a smaller company, it can definitely be a bit expensive. That said, if it fits your budget, it's absolutely a valuable tool to have for your team.

CRM for business growth

Pros

Among CRM platforms, this is easily one of the best for supporting business growth. It gives detailed information for the data you need and comes with a wide range of tools. Many of those tools are available for free while some require a purchase depending on your business needs. Another valuable part is that it works well for both individual users and larger organizations. It also includes learning materials for its tools which helps users get familiar with the system much faster.

Cons

At first some of the tools can seem a bit complicated but once you understand how they work, they become very simple to use.

Everything I need for tracking

Pros

Using this every day to track activity with clients and prospects, I've been really happy with how well it works overall. The functionality is strong, the system runs well and it includes pretty much everything I need in one place. At times some of the information feels repetitive but that seems more tied to how our company uses it than to the software itself.

Cons

Honestly, I don't see many real downsides to the software itself. Most of the frustration comes from how we use it internally especially the classic junk in, junk out problem that we've created on our end.

Best CRM for shared visibility

Pros

Compared with other CRM tools, this one is far ahead of the rest. It's user-friendly, packed with functionality and does a lot to align how an entire organization operates. Having a single source of truth where every department can access the same information and database for their own needs is incredibly valuable.

Cons

This isn't really a negative but it can feel like too much if your company is on the smaller side. It may offer more than you currently need. That said, once your business starts growing, you'll probably want it anyway and moving to it earlier rather than later makes sense.

Connected workflow and account history

Pros

One of the strongest parts is how everything is connected, from the Sales team all the way to Customer Success. Having the full history of information in one place, along with the ability to manage a book of accounts and log tasks and reminders, really makes it stand out.

Cons

Downside is that it's not very simple especially for anyone who isn't an admin user. You end up needing to ask for almost every change and a lot of the time you're not even allowed to do basic things yourself, like creating your own dashboard.

Versatile CRM with custom dashboards

Pros

Hands down, this has been the best CRM I've worked with. At my previous company, I mainly used it for call logs and sending emails but in my current role we use it for much more, including cohort reports and dashboards. One of the biggest advantages is how flexible it is, you can ask the IT team to set it up and design it around your specific business needs.

Cons

At times, it does lag a little although that may be related to our server rather than the tool itself.
