Flexible CRM with smart automation

Pros

Getting this up and running on a computer was simple and using it day to day feels very easy. It fits well as a tool for tracking customers within a company and the customization options make it adaptable to specific business needs. Another big plus is the feature set which helps automate a range of business operations and saves time.

Cons

One downside is that the pricing feels expensive when compared with other CRM options on the market. It would be better if the developers reduced the cost so more businesses and users could afford it and feel included.

All-in-one reporting tool

Pros

After using it for nearly two years in my day-to-day work at an online ordering company, it has become a central part of how I manage tasks. It keeps all the information, data and reports in one place which makes staying organized much easier. One thing I really appreciate is how much you can edit and customize so it can be adjusted to fit the way you work. Building reports from the data is very useful and it also helps a lot with tracking everything consistently. Searching is also very practical since you can quickly find information using keywords or numbers.

Cons

At first, it can feel a bit hard to understand and not very simple especially when you are still figuring out how everything works. Once you spend some time with it though, it starts to make much more sense and becomes far easier to handle. My only real complaint is the price because I think it should be more affordable so smaller companies could use it too.

Access anywhere with teamwork

Pros

Being able to pull up our data from anywhere in the world is easily one of the biggest advantages of this software. The name might make it sound like it is built just for sales but that really is not the case. At our company, every department uses it. Our field technicians complete paperwork on tablets that connect directly with the system which lets dispatch and the sales team stay updated on the progress of a job right from the installation stage. It has helped us align a lot of internal processes and made communication between departments much more efficient.

Cons

It is a bit expensive but the value and benefits we get from it outweigh the cost many times over.

poor support

Pros

Back when it was on Classic, we'd been using it for years and really appreciated how quick the system was for everyday tasks like building custom modules, adding records and getting around the platform. It still covers the core CRM basics well, including tracking open opportunities, wins, funnel activity by rep and the usual functions you'd expect from a CRM.

Cons

Ever since the move to the new version, the speed has fallen off badly and it's really slow. The bigger problem though, is that with only 8 users, we're clearly too small for them to care about so support is basically nonexistent. When we first signed up, we asked to be billed in CAD but were told that option was only available to bigger companies and that we had to pay in USD. They also said paying by credit card was fine and for the first two years that worked without any issue. We even earned about $300 in points every six months because the service cost is high on Enterprise edition. Then when our last invoice came four months ago, I tried to pay and suddenly couldn't. I called and was told they no longer accept credit cards and that I should just mail a cheque. I agreed but asked what the total was in CAD since we're in Canada and I can't write a cheque in USD. Their response was that it had to be paid in USD, no exception. That means every time I need to pay, I now have to go to the bank, stand in line, get a bank draft and pay a $30 fee just to send the wire transfer. On top of that, billing and sales never reply even when I open a case. I've literally had to tweet my case number publicly every single time just to get a response. We've also had 5 different account managers in 3 years so turnover seems very high. Emails get ignored unless I follow up pretending I want to upgrade or add another user and then suddenly they answer right away.

easy nonprofit AppExchange

Pros

It comes with a very powerful AppStore and its overall functionality is hard to fault. There are also plenty of resources available for users so help is there whenever it's needed. It's an especially strong option for small to medium-sized nonprofit organizations and the first 10 licenses being free for qualifying nonprofits makes it an incredible starting resource. Importing records is fairly easy and it also offers a huge range of integrations with other software and services.

Cons

Annual 7% licensing cost built into the contracts makes it less appealing for profit-focused businesses. On top of that, the sales team and account managers can be quite aggressive and many of the features or services you may want end up costing extra. There are also some frustrating reporting limitations in Pardot and integrations with plug-ins can be a hassle if they weren't configured during the initial onboarding. That said, those issues feel more like speed bumps than major problems. Another frustration is the constant rotation of account managers which makes it hard to maintain a relationship since you often have to start over with someone new. It can also be quite difficult to learn if you're coming from a non-technical background.

amazing UI and mobile access

Pros

Right away, the strongest part of this tool is how much attention has gone into the interface and overall usability, whether you're a beginner or an experienced admin. The learning curve feels very manageable and the mobile app is a huge advantage for teams that need to work while on the move. On top of that, the learning resources for both development and administration are very well put together and make the platform much easier to work with.

Cons

One frustrating part is that switching between the new version UX and classic UX makes you redo customizations which is a real hassle.

Great portal for daily data

Pros

Honestly, our company would be in chaos without it. All the data we collect during daily operations gets entered and organized really well and that saves us a huge amount of time on data entry. The accessibility is excellent too because it's very user-friendly and lets you customize your portal to fit the way you work best. Whether it's setting a follow-up task, updating details in a specific file or pulling up a client's information, it's the go-to data management tool for everyone in the business.

Cons

There's not much I can complain about, except that some editing features can be a little hard to track down because of how much data and customization each file can hold. Other than that occasional confusion, it's an outstanding tool for managing updates on data, leads, clients, companies and applications while also helping colleagues stay connected so every client's needs are handled properly at all times.

Customization with wide adoption

Pros

It's used pretty much everywhere and that really makes sense. The basics are easy to pick up but there's also a huge amount of flexibility and depth for anyone who wants to go beyond the surface and really customize it.

Cons

Every now and then some unusual bugs come up and it's not always clear what's causing them. I won't get too deep into specifics but we've run into a handful of issues that aren't serious though they can slow things down a bit or lead to the occasional data mistake. Nothing major overall and the SFDC team is usually very responsive when tickets are submitted so it wouldn't stop me from recommending the system.

Automation for busy teams

Pros

Packed with features and genuinely powerful when it's used properly. To really get the most from it though, you need someone on the team with great IT admin knowledge since there's not much you can do without that kind of expertise. The automation tools are a major advantage especially being able to schedule workloads and assign tasks quickly which is essential for almost any business.

Cons

Getting everything set up is fairly complicated and the backend rules and requirements really need to be handled by someone who knows exactly what they're doing. Without that, it's very possible to end up paying for the license and barely using the software.

Handy tabs for prospecting

Pros

Using this every day has been very easy as a consumer. I regularly search for existing clients and enter potential ones into the system and the layout makes that simple to manage. Everything is organized into clear tabs such as Chatter, Liberty Links, Groups, Salesgenie Prospecting, Leads, Map, Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, Applications, Policies, Reports, Dashboards, Cases (Worksite), New Dashboards, Knowledge and Tasks.

Cons

Honestly, I have not run into anything about the software itself that I dislike. The only time I cannot access the information I need is when I am working in rural areas with a weak signal and I see that as a cellular connectivity issue rather than a problem with the software.

Lead tracking insights

Pros

One of the biggest strengths here is how many different things it can handle for a company. I mostly relied on it to monitor leads coming in from our website and other marketing channels and it let me keep a very high level of detail and granularity. It was simple to track every social interaction, take action on it and then build reports afterward. The insights we got were genuinely valuable and helped us fine-tune our campaigns and overall strategy.

Cons

At the same time, it was frustrating more than once to realize the feature I needed was locked behind a paywall. I understand why that works well for them but it often felt like we were being pushed to upgrade just to access one specific tool. The higher plan did include a lot of extra features, of course but many of them were not things we actually needed.

Trusted CRM integrations

Pros

When it comes to connecting with other apps and collaborating with partners, nothing else has really matched it for me. Tools like Zapier are starting to close that gap by making integrations with lots of other software much simpler but if you're serious about your CRM, this still feels like the safest proven option. On top of that, it's usually not hard to find people who know how to customize it and manage its instances.

Cons

The downside is that it's both complicated and pricey. There are definitely simpler and less expensive CRMs available so for a very small business that doesn't need all the extra features, it probably isn't the right investment.

Centralized visibility that helps

Pros

Having everything stored in one central place makes it much easier for different teams and roles to see the same information and stay aligned.

Cons

One thing that could be improved is the Outlook integration especially if attachments carried over properly along with the task creation workflow.

perfect integrations that work

Pros

One of the biggest advantages is the integration capability. It connects with practically any tool we need and since Salesforce is already so established in this space, it includes all the core CRM features our team was looking for. After we rolled it out, day-to-day work became much more manageable.

Cons

There are still two different versions of the software to deal with. Some reports can only be accessed in the Classic version because the newer interface still doesn't support those older reports.

Great reporting and CRM depth

Pros

The reporting capabilities are honestly incredible. It's an extremely powerful platform and the range of things you can do with it makes it feel like a full CRM solution. I especially enjoy building reports in it but I also rely on it every day to stay in touch with clients and partners. Having all the information I need in one place helps me support my clients' business growth and makes me more effective as an account manager while also helping our partners succeed.

Cons

A few features especially the ones tied to reporting, are not as easy as I expected them to be. Because of that, the system can feel a bit specialized, where only a small number of people can really use it to its full potential and I don't think that should be the case.

Top CRM with integrations

Pros

Its CRM features are honestly hard to beat. One thing I really appreciate is how well it connects with so many other tools in the industry and with the right setup, it can handle even very complex sales teams and prospect or customer groups without becoming difficult to manage.

Cons

The part I enjoy the least is dealing with analytics and reporting inside the platform. I get that the current reporting setup is tied to how customizable the system is and to be fair, it does work the way it's supposed to. Still, it would be much better if reports were simpler to run and if performance could be analyzed directly in the software instead of having to export the data and review it somewhere else.

Practical data organization

Pros

Right from the start, the application feels simple to work with. It offers a variety of options and it really helps with organizing data and generating results efficiently.

Cons

One thing that could make it even better is more frequent updates especially to improve the design. Even so, the tool is still very useful and practical.

Flexible dashboards and reports

Pros

Just about every plugin we could need is available and the platform is incredibly flexible when it comes to fitting different use cases. Reporting is easy, the dashboards work well for everyone from executives to managers to employees and it can handle a huge volume of data without issue.

Cons

Getting the most out of it does take a dedicated team to set up and maintain everything properly, including dashboards, reporting, bug fixes and add-on installs. The per-user cost is higher than a lot of similar products and our sales team needed a couple of weeks of onboarding to get comfortable because there are so many pieces to learn. It also isn't as simple as it could be especially for more entry-level employees.

Sales tracking powerhouse

Pros

Honestly, trying to work on a sales team without this as the CRM feels really inefficient. It's very user-friendly, helps keep everything organized, makes it simple to monitor where leads stand, supports a more strategic approach to reporting and even helps settle rules-of-engagement disputes on the sales floor with clear documentation.

Cons

Getting problems resolved after reporting them to the IT admin can be frustratingly slow. Sometimes days or even weeks pass before anything gets fixed. The events/tasks area could also be much simpler and less cluttered and it would make sense if those functions were more aligned with each other. Also, when you're following leads, you should always get notified if the status of an opportunity or account changes.

Helpful reports for teams

Pros

It does a great job of tracking team activity and production and the reports are really useful. The per-user pricing is reasonable and the software works well for larger companies that need to monitor productivity at scale.

Cons

The reporting can be complicated to work through. There is a huge amount of data available but it does not help much if users do not know how to use it properly. It is also not very simple so training is definitely needed.
