Fast contact access

Pros

I really like that all contacts and opportunities are available in one place which is really convenient. The interface feels sleek and responds quickly which makes using it pleasant.

Cons

Certain tasks can still feel a bit tough at times, depending on what you're trying to do.

Organized records and quick access

Pros

Having all of our customer and project details in one organized, accessible place has made a huge difference for us. Before using it, we didn't have consistent procedures for proposals or record keeping. Now it's simple to pull up information from past sales, no matter how old the project is or whether the original salesperson is still with the company.

Cons

Recent upgrades have made the layout more difficult to navigate than it used to be.

Tablet access anywhere

Pros

It is really useful for me to have everything in one place. I used it on a tablet and could see all the information on a single screen, similar to using it on a phone, with different buttons to open what I needed.

Cons

Great tool but one thing that slowed me down was having to leave one site, go into another and restart the search from scratch. That ended up wasting time and when I needed to give clients information right away, it made it harder to respond as quickly as I wanted.

helpful visuals

Pros

This CRM is incredibly powerful and connects with a wide range of applications, including SurveyMonkey and Outlook. The reporting and trend tracking are very visual which makes it especially useful for my team.

Cons

Sometimes it gets frustrating, as the new version requires so many extra clicks. It feels much less simple than the Classic version. There's also a small but constant annoyance when creating a task, it defaults to "account associations" instead of "accounts," which means an extra dropdown click every single time.

Highly customizable for any business

Pros

Having worked with it at two different companies, I've seen how the core software stays consistent while still allowing a huge amount of customization for each business and the way it operates. The ability to build new tools, forms and processes really stands out and feels hard to match.

Cons

One part I wasn't too fond of was how cluttered the software could feel. There were just too many tabs, menus and lists packed in which made the interface less appealing to use.

Versatile CRM that keeps everything connected

Pros

After using this software for two years, one of the first things that appealed to me was the 30-day free trial. Having worked with other CRM tools before, this one stands out as one of the simplest to navigate. It connects well with other business systems and being able to access it from my phone makes it even more convenient. It also brings different business activities together in one place while helping me keep track of customer records.

Cons

Compared with other CRM options on the market, this software is definitely on the expensive side so it may be difficult for small businesses to afford. I also had to keep selecting the details view again every time after exiting. Aside from that, the software has been good overall.

Top case tracking

Pros

Using this application has been excellent. What I appreciate most is how well it lets you track and manage support cases, sales reports and task assignments across multiple platforms. It also adapts nicely to different business needs and the social network integration is very useful.

Cons

Setting up the platform and customizing it can be challenging and usually requires a lot of expertise. On top of that, the support team is sometimes less helpful than it should be.

Cloud platform for everything

Pros

One of the biggest advantages is the extensive built-in search which makes it much easier to find what I need quickly. Since it's cloud-based, I can access it without needing a VPN which is really convenient. It also connects social networking with SFDC and having a customized single GUI/platform for sales, support, services and the commission portal all in one place makes day-to-day work much more manageable.

Cons

At times, the system does get slow and the response can feel sluggish. The page access authorizations also don't seem to be blended properly which can make navigation and access a bit frustrating.

boosts support workflows

Pros

Running our company without it really isn't an option. After rolling out the new version experience for the support team, it became much simpler to pull up account details, contacts and support tickets all in one place. The integrations are strong too especially search and the knowledge base and the system is very user-friendly overall.

Cons

Building dashboards and reports does come with a bit of a learning curve although the available documentation and tutorials make it much easier to build up your knowledge quickly. The mobile app also didn't feel as efficient as I expected.

Real-time sales access

Pros

Being able to access sales information in real time from anywhere is easily the biggest advantage of this tool. It's especially useful during client meetings and the option to pull sales reports quickly makes it even more valuable to have on hand.

Cons

It does require some training before sales reps feel comfortable using it. Compared with other software and cloud-based apps, it seems to take a bit longer to get new users fully up to speed.

Features that scale

Pros

It comes with a powerful set of features that can be switched on or off depending on changing business trends and sales needs. The price feels justified as a standalone sales CRM and sales tool for a small business with only a few reps while still working just as effectively for a company with 1,000+ salespeople that needs integration across multiple departments. The security is excellent, protecting well against both external and internal threats or manipulation. There are also so many user-defined fields available that you can create highly specific roles for virtually every employee in the system if needed.

Cons

As with most software platforms, sf.com takes some time to learn and there will likely be people in the company who resist the change. If those users are not encouraged and required to fully adopt the system, it reduces the overall value the software can deliver. It is also priced higher than competing tools, often by a significant margin. On top of that, the packages begin at a 5-user price point so a small business with only two or three users still has to pay for five licenses.

Mobile access and useful reports

Pros

Having a cloud-based system that also works well on mobile has been really helpful. I can pull it up on my phone whenever I'm on-site or away from my desk. The project team also gets notified right away whenever there's a change or update to our tickets. On top of that, we've been using the reporting feature to generate different types of reports for open issues, priorities and similar tracking needs.

Cons

I was using it as a project team member during an implementation project and on our side it was used more like a helpdesk tool. At times, the navigation felt a bit awkward and confusing to work through. There were also several occasions when the server showed a Maintenance notice which meant we couldn't access the system.

CRM with broad integrations

Pros

From a CRM standpoint, this is a very powerful SaaS platform with a pretty user-friendly interface. It really stands above the rest because it connects well with nearly every tool a sales or marketing team is likely already using.

Cons

To get the most out of it, it's worth bringing in an expert, either on staff or as a contractor, to help tailor the setup to your needs. The platform can do a huge amount but most organizations probably only end up using 10-20% of what's available. Better onboarding and more proactive ongoing support would make a big difference especially if someone reached out to say, "I noticed you're not using this feature. Here's how companies like yours are using it, the results they're seeing and let's help you get it configured."

Custom views and reports

Pros

The views can be customized the way I need and the reporting feature is very versatile.

Cons

One annoyance is that after I exit and come back, it switches back to a useless default view so I have to choose the Detail view again.

Cloud flexibility

Pros

After more than 10 years of using SF, it's still a constantly evolving tool that manages customer relationships extremely well. The number of add-ons and integration options feels almost endless which gives it a ton of flexibility. Being cloud-based is another big advantage too especially when bad weather keeps us out of the office and the business can still keep running without interruption.

Cons

The cost is definitely on the high side so for a small business like ours, it ends up being pretty expensive.

Connects with everything

Pros

One thing I really appreciate is how well it connects with just about every tool out there. I'm able to send leads and contacts directly from the email platform and lead generation tools I already use which saves a lot of time. Moving over from another CRM was also very easy so the switch didn't feel disruptive at all.

Cons

At the same time, it can feel pretty tough to work with and if you're anything like a lot of users, you may end up not using many of the features you're actually paying for. Because of that, the cost can start to feel very high once you move up to the higher-tier plans.

Cloud platform for growth

Pros

It's come a long way from being just a CRM and has grown into a full cloud platform. On top of the core system, we're able to build or purchase additional applications which adds a lot of flexibility. They also keep rolling out new capabilities with every release, about three times a year and many of those features are quite simple to put in place while still being genuinely useful.

Cons

With so much attention going toward brand-new functionality some problems in the existing features don't seem to get enough priority. As a result, fixes can take a long time to arrive and in some cases they never get resolved at all.

Top-tier CRM experience

Pros

Honestly, there's very little for me to complain about with SF. It feels like the strongest platform in its category and still stays ahead of other CRM systems out there. I'd choose this CRM over the others any time because the interface is clean, it's simple to work with and the customer support has been consistently reliable.

Cons

There really isn't much that bothers me about this software and whenever something doesn't work the way I want, it can usually be customized to fix the issue. Thanks, SF!

Dashboards with clear UI

Pros

It's a very functional platform. The interface is easy to understand and the reporting and dashboards make it simple to manage accounts more strategically.

Cons

Only thing I'd want is a LinkedIn integration though that seems to be more of a LinkedIn limitation than an issue with the software itself.

Branded support hub

Pros

One of the best parts is how it runs pretty much every part of our customer-facing support and training center. We've been able to create a complete help database and support portal, fully branded with our own content and marketing, all built entirely on this platform.

Cons

For what we use it for, I honestly can't point to a single issue.
