Sales insights hub

Pros

This software fit nicely with our custom application and ended up being useful across a lot of areas in our sales department. It provides insights that our internal reporting doesn't really give us and the team can export that information directly into our system. At this point, we depend on it quite a bit to monitor current status and keep everyone aligned on the game plan for term-based strategies.

Cons

Getting it implemented the right way can be a challenge unless you bring in outside help and the pricing definitely reflects their position as a leader in the industry.

Limitless customization

Pros

Customization options feel almost endless which is both the biggest strength and the biggest challenge. Once your business requirements are clearly defined, setting things up is fairly easy. The key is making sure everyone is aligned on all business needs before you start building.

Cons

With that level of flexibility, it can be tougher to back out of a custom setup if the configuration starts creating problems for other customized components. It really reinforces the same point above, the team needs a full understanding of the business requirements before building anything. And, as always, test, test, test.

Great CRM with technical issues

Pros

Keeping track of leads without this would be nearly impossible and managing the process so those leads move into the sales pipeline and get assigned to a rep would be even more difficult. It feels essential for any sales team and the client notes feature is something I really appreciate. It's also highly customizable which is a big plus.

Cons

There have been multiple malfunctions and some of them have caused serious negative consequences. The latest problem we ran into was an SF issue that failed to properly track client activity, like whether someone had clicked anything in the previous week which resulted in about 300,000 leads dropping out of our email pipeline because they were mistakenly treated as disengaged. It took months for us to even identify the problem and then weeks more to get it fixed. On top of that, the search functionality and its integration with Marketing Cloud still need more development.

Powerful all-in-one CRM

Pros

Among CRM platforms, this one feels like one of the most complete options out there. The range of things you can do with it is honestly huge. We use it to manage our customers and at this point it would be very hard to run the business without it. It helps us track customers through every stage of the funnel and it has even contributed to bringing in new business. After you start using it, it quickly becomes a central part of how your company operates.

Cons

Learning curve is definitely steep and you really need someone with specialist knowledge to get the most value from the software. It also works best when the whole team fully adopts it, otherwise it can become difficult to manage.
