“Professional demos and AI help”
Pros
Putting together professional product demos is really easy with the browser extension and the AI assistant does a good job of generating placeholder text for tooltips.
Cons
Its desktop app didn't work in my case and the video steps ended up showing as blank.

“AI tool made things easy”
Pros
My most fav thing is that putting together a product walkthrough with Storylane is far simpler than trying to nail a video in a single take. The new AI tools made it easy to refine and adjust the script and the AI voiceover sped up publishing a lot especially for someone like me who usually ends up re-recording these kinds of videos multiple times.
Cons
A few settings are still controlled at the screen level and it would be much better to have the option to apply them across the entire demo instead such as popup placement or styling.

“good value for price”
Pros
Being able to make changes without redoing everything or sending out a new link has been really useful. Considering how often we use it and how much value we get from it, the cost seems well worth it for what we need.
Cons
Well a few parts of the editing and design functionality could be better.

“Reliable tutorials save time”
Pros
Putting together quick, clear tutorials for customer onboarding is really easy. I can reuse the same Storylanes again and again instead of rebuilding everything from scratch every time I need to train someone. That consistency and how simple it is to work with are exactly why I keep coming back to Storylane.
Cons
I'd love to have more personalization options within the tutorials, along with a personal library where I can store and reuse the widgets or icons I use most often.

“Fantastic step by step demos”
Pros
The product is very easy to use. Putting together a step by step guide for using the system takes very little effort and the voiceover feature works really well too.
Cons
At times it captures a few extra screens that aren't needed so they have to be removed afterward but it's not a major issue.

“Interactive how to library win”
Pros
Turning our platform into an interactive How-To Library with it has been a huge plus for us. It lets me take more complicated features and turn them into clear, step by step demos organize everything into chapters and keep it updated as the product changes. Users get a hands-on way to learn without needing someone to personally guide them through each feature one by one. The branding and customization options also make the experience feel like a natural part of our product instead of a separate training tool. It's delivered strong value for us by saving a lot of time through reusable, self-service training instead of repeating the same live walkthroughs over and over. As both our platform and library keep expanding, I only see that value growing further.
Cons
One drawback is that some parts of the customization and editing process can feel a bit confusing. Once demos start getting longer, managing individual steps, reorganizing content and keeping everything consistent can take more time than I'd like. I'd also really like the option to add subchapters within a demo or the How-To Library. Having that extra layer of organization would make it much easier to group related topics together and create a cleaner, more user friendly learning experience for users.

“overall user friendly tool”
Pros
Right away I find it very user friendly and it's been a big help for our team when putting together demos for new product feature releases. That's a little outside the usual sales-focused use case but it still fits what we need really well. Sharing and customizing demos is pretty easy and the browser extension has been especially valuable. I barely spend any time on edits because the AI can automatically create captions and guidance, while still letting me fine-tune and adjust whatever it generates. The pricing was also clear and their team took the time to walk me through everything so I could fully understand the platform's features.
Cons
The limitation is that unless you're on their highest-tier plan, you cannot organize demos into separate sections. Because of that when I share content, I have to send demos individually instead of being able to provide one central resources hub. That said for the way we use it and at the price we're paying for our current plan, it's a tradeoff we can live with.

“Interactive demos that scale”
Pros
Storylane really helps when we need to build interactive product demos without relying heavily on technical support. It turns complicated workflows into clear, self-guided experiences that prospects or customers can go through at their own pace. Another big plus is how useful it is across different teams, whether for sales, marketing, onboarding or customer success so it seems practical beyond just one use case. Being able to create, update and share demos quickly adds a lot of value especially for companies that want to present product capabilities in a better and scalable manner.
Cons
One downside is that putting together a truly professional demo can still take a fair amount of time especially when the workflow is more complex or needs constant updates. Building a simple demo is easy but getting it to feel fully refined, on-brand and aligned with a sales or onboarding journey takes extra planning and review. I also feel there is still room for improvement when it comes to customization, analytics and handling multiple demo versions, particularly for teams that want to tailor demos for different audiences, use cases or customer segments.

“stronger lead gen tool”
Pros
It has been a big win for us for building demos with the main Demo Suite product. It's saved us a lot of time, lets us create demos that can be updated quickly and has also been really useful for lead generation and for seeing how customers are interacting with the content we put out. On top of all that their team has been fantastic to work with.
Cons
The only thing I'd like to see is integration with our Intercom/FIN ecosystem though I understand that may be affected by overlapping functionality with their newer RepX feature.

“Professional tool”
Pros
Being able to build professional walkthroughs for HTML-based products has been really valuable and the AI narration feature is a nice bonus.
Cons
It still seems limited because it mainly supports HTML based software. With so many modern web app frameworks and the widespread use of mobile apps, it really needs to expand beyond that. On top of that we've dealt with very long wait times when trying to get issues resolved.

“Helpful demos, responsive support”
Pros
Getting the most out of this product does take a bit of training especially if you haven't worked with a similar tool before. It has a lot to offer but finding current training materials can be a little challenging and the AI support isn't particularly strong in that area. That said whenever a more technical problem comes up, the live support team has been very helpful. For everyday use it's fairly simple and the AI features are especially handy for building demos. Compared with the other tools we evaluated, having Turkish language support was a major advantage, even though we still would have liked to see more options. Overall we're quite happy with the product. It's particularly useful when you need to update an existing demo since making changes is very simple. It has been genuinely helpful for our team.
Cons
More avatar choices would definitely be welcome and the Turkish language support still feels limited especially for the AI Voice feature. Aside from that we really haven't run into any major problems.

“Interactive demos that win leads”
Pros
One thing that really clicked for us with it is how well it helps build engaging, interactive demos. The platform is user friendly, flexible and adds a lot to storytelling through multimedia which has made it especially effective for both marketing and sales. Before subscribing we wanted something that would be simple to roll out and it has absolutely delivered on that with its user friendly setup. We've also gotten very positive feedback from customers as well as prospects. On top of that the option to turn a video into step by step demo flows is a standout feature.
Cons
I haven't come across anything I dislike about it.

“fantastic screen recording and sharing”
Pros
Screen recording with it is much easier and effective than the other tools we've used. Sharing the links with our internal system users is also very convenient and takes very little effort.
Cons
One thing I'd still like to see improved is the folder system for organizing demos. Since multiple departments use it, better organization at a higher level and the option to limit access for certain users would be really helpful.

“Interactive demos that convert”
Pros
It has saved our team a ton of time compared with writing plain-text documentation or putting together videos. We can build and track demos without much effort and the feature set is strong when it comes to matching our branding and adding avatars to specific demos. That makes it simple to create interactive, engaging content. We've also seen strong engagement and conversion from this documentation which has made a noticeable difference in how quickly users adapt to our features. Another big plus is how fast the demos are to create as we can put together a good one in around half an hour and updating them when the UI changes is easy too. The initial setup was also very simple for our team.
Cons
As per me the mobile experience seems a bit inconsistent since the styling can look different depending on the phone.

“AI demos with smart branding”
Pros
One thing that really helps is the AI functionality that generates the demo content automatically once the product is captured. That cuts down the time a lot and lets us put together a demo within minutes. The branding options are another big plus since we can apply our branding to demos almost instantly and the lead interaction alerts are useful because they show us exactly who engaged and how we should follow up. Getting everything set up at the beginning was also very easy which made adoption much easier.
Cons
The only downside I can point to is that the pricing could be a little lower.
