boost conversions

Pros

The tool does a really good job of helping us educate website visitors about what we offer while also automating parts of the process so we can build things faster. Our product marketer has no trouble using it and the Slack integration fits right into our workflow. The alerts are especially helpful because they let us know when a lead visits. Also I value the AI features which make it possible to create an interactive demo that can run on our website 24/7. Setup was very easy and it works well for a team of around thirty five people as I can see it being just as useful for even larger teams. On top of that it helps us cut content production costs and has improved our conversion rate.

Cons

At this point I think the platform is in a really good place. The only thing I'd ask for is a slightly better mobile version and that's about it.

good tool for conversions

Pros

Whenever we launch a new product or send out a newsletter campaign, I rely on it to build interactive tours. It's been more effective at attracting the right audience and the data clearly shows people engage with this format more than with passive videos. I also like being able to mix screens and video into one demo and layer in personalized voiceovers which adds character and seems to drive more CTA clicks and conversions. Getting started with it was very quick and everything has been working well since then.

Cons

Nothing has really stood out as a downside.

AI tool that drive conversions

Pros

Storylane has been a really valuable tool for helping my clients boost email campaign conversions and improve click-through rates on their websites. The whole show, don't tell approach works really well because people can interact with the product before committing and interactive demos make that possible. Putting together a demo for different use cases is simple and my clients also get helpful alerts whenever leads engage with the demo. The AI voiceovers and avatars add a professional feel to the experience which has helped drive even more clicks. Getting started with it was also very easy.

Cons

One small thing I'd change is combining the hub analytics with the demo analytics although it's only a minor inconvenience.

Good tool

Pros

Building demos is much faster thanks to its AI features. It can pull the right content from screens automatically which cuts the process down from hours to just minutes. The AI voice-over is another big plus and being able to translate demos into multiple languages quickly is really important for us since we support different audiences. I also really value the Convert CTA feature because the sticky button stays visible throughout the demo and helps turn more visitors into leads. On top of that the analytics are very detailed, showing exactly who engaged and at what time. Altogether these features have helped us improve website conversions, educate prospects more quickly through product tours and increase demo bookings with attendees who come in better prepared.

Cons

There's not much to complain about at the moment since it's been working perfectly fine for us.

missing integrations

Pros

The interface is easy to navigate and it gives us a flexible way to present our product. Compared with a few competing tools on the market, it seems like the better option.

Cons

A big downside is the lack of Contentful integration which seems like a major miss. We also cannot embed forms directly into the full experience so we have to gate users as soon as they land on the page.

Fast demo building toolkit

Pros

It is pretty easy to use and the Chrome extension means there's no need to mess around with integrations before you begin. You can jump right into building demos immediately. On the pricing side even the lowest paid tier gives us a good set of features and the built-in automated overlays help speed things up a lot.

Cons

No real complaints at this point. The only part that becomes a little tedious is when adding new slides to an existing demo since it automatically opens new tabs and you can end up with quite a few windows open. It's manageable but it does take a bit of attention to keep everything organized.

Clickable walkthroughs pay off

Pros

Putting together interactive product tours is fast with this tool. I can capture screens, turn them into a clickable walkthrough and publish it on a landing page or drop it into a sales email that same day. The editor is user friendly enough that I was able to start using it right away without any onboarding and the embed options are a big plus because prospects don't have to open yet another separate link. Considering the price compared with the value it delivers, the ROI is very easy to justify since one proper walkthrough can save hours of repeating the same live demo.

Cons

Keeping walkthroughs updated over time is where things start to feel a bit confusing. When a UI change only impacts a few screens in a longer flow, there's no fast way to replace just those specific screens in place which means rebuilding more of the walkthrough than should be necessary. A batch replace or screen swap feature would remove a lot of that extra rework. I'd also love to see more advanced analytics, maybe even AI-assisted, that do more than report basic clicks and instead highlight trends like where prospects consistently lose interest or drop off.
