“very outdated credits”
Pros
Having access to company and employee contact details has been really valuable. The HubSpot integration was easy to set up and there are plenty of contact filters available to narrow down the right leads.
Cons
A small but noticeable portion of the contacts I downloaded, probably around 5% to 10%, were no longer at the company. It also lacks a way to review lists created by other users although there is at least a filter that helps avoid building a list from contacts that were already downloaded before. On top of that the credit system feels pretty outdated.

“Strong contact data for sales”
Pros
ZoomInfo offers a wide range of details across a huge number of contacts that are incredibly valuable for sales development teams and it really helps make a BDR's job much more manageable.
Cons
The platform's interface felt a little crowded at times which occasionally made it harder to quickly locate the most relevant information.

“Chrome extension boosts prospecting”
Pros
Tracking down contact details for active leads is really easy with it. The Chrome extension is especially useful because it lets me pull contact information while I am working in other tools like our CRM which saves a lot of time.
Cons
Every now and then some of the data isn't fully accurate but that's bound to happen and isn't really something it can completely control.

“Deep prospecting database available”
Pros
Its contact data is really strong and it does an excellent job when it comes to searching for prospects.

The EMEA database is not as good as the US and public sector contacts are often missing contact details.

“Decent US contact coverage”
Pros
There was a fairly good amount of contact information available for people in the US.
Cons
Roughly 30% of the contacts were missing details and some didn't have any contact information at all. It was especially lacking for offshore contacts in the Caribbean, where many profiles seemed blank.

“Overpriced and misleading product”
Pros
None. If it actually performed the way they claim, it would be worthwhile but they just don't deliver.
Cons
Their whole business model feels like a scam. They promise far more than they provide and the cost is outrageously high.

“Dependable contact data source”
Pros
Whenever I need direct phone numbers for the people I am trying to reach, it is the one platform I can consistently rely on. It's also very user friendly and gives helpful suggestions that make it simple to broaden or refine my search depending on what I need.
Cons
If I compare it with other people-finding tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator or Hunter.io, I do occasionally run into conflicting or inaccurate details in it. That said it definitely doesn't happen often.

“Helpful contacts and org charts”
Pros
ZoomInfo has been really useful for finding contact details and the org chart feature is especially handy when trying to understand company structure.
Cons
At times the contact data can be outdated or inaccurate. I also feel like many of the newer add-on features aren't necessary for most users and just add extra noise.

“could be better”
Pros
Access to mobile numbers was a definite plus and the filtering options made list building pretty practical. The import/export functionality was also helpful and the customized feed was a nice feature to have available.
Cons
There's a lot of extra fluff compared to what their core product should really deliver. It's hard to build properly on a lead because notes and history aren't powerful enough and a lot of the data seems outdated and not well maintained. The buyer web insights seem bogus and not relevant at all. It seems like they've focused more on bells and whistles than actual substance.

“Adds a lot of value”
Pros
Having access to its large database of contacts and company details has been really helpful for prospecting and lead generation. The amount of information it provides especially firmographic and technographic data, adds a lot of value and makes targeting much more effective.
Cons
Its pricing is definitely on the expensive side which can be tough to justify for smaller teams. On top of that some records are outdated or inaccurate and that can end up causing wasted time and outreach effort.

“awful service”
Pros
Honestly nothing positive came out of my experience. They were very dismissive whenever I raised concerns.
Cons
They told us we would get cell phone numbers for HR buyers but in reality we maybe received only about 25% and they still charged us extra. I had also made it clear that I already had my own buyer list and did not want random HR contacts from different companies, yet that is basically what they sent over. We contacted them right away after testing it and seeing the problem but nothing was ever fixed. The original person we dealt with was no longer there and the next representative said he had all the call recordings, yet he still failed to acknowledge the issue or our frustration, even though this all came up within the first week. On top of that they sent our account to collections over a product they did not deliver as promised and still expected payment, even though we stopped using it after about a month and a half. The whole experience felt dishonest and misleading like they were willing to say anything just to close the sale. We reached out immediately after purchase because there was no real way to verify what we were getting beforehand.

“Useful tool for us”
Pros
The flowchart feature has been especially useful for me. I really like being able to view reports alongside extra details about the people submitting them. Having direct access to the right contacts has made a big difference in improving our sales process. The daily and weekly triggers also save me a lot of time since I don't have to constantly dig through reports myself. It is particularly strong when it comes to account and contact data and the information it provides is both accurate and actionable. On top of that the reporting tools and dashboards are outstanding and packed with valuable insights.
Cons
Getting contacts loaded into our CRM has been a little difficult at times. There are also moments when the activation subscription email includes all the details I need but other times it just repeats the same information instead of giving anything new.

Pros
As an editorial researcher, this is a core part of my day to day work. Honestly I couldn't do my job without it.
Cons
It's hard to point to any real downside. If I run into issues, they're usually more about my own lack of knowledge than the software itself.

“Valuable executive data source”
Pros
After using it for the past three years, I can say it has been quite reliable for finding executive and brand information. It provides details for C-level leaders, directors, presidents and vice presidents, often including their email addresses and phone numbers. On the brand side it also helps by listing acquisitions and subsidiaries. Another big plus is the ability to export the data into CSV format which makes it very useful.
Cons
There are times when important details are missing during client research. For brands some recent acquisitions do not always appear in it. The same happens with executive data, where email addresses or corporate phone numbers are sometimes unavailable. In those cases, I usually have to look elsewhere, such as Google search, to fill in the gaps.

“provide inaccurate data”
Pros
Being able to build contact lists for lead generation is useful.

“pull huge prospect data quickly”
Pros
Within less than a minute, I can pull up a huge amount of detail on a single prospect such as phone numbers, email addresses, job details, company information and even relevant news. Most of the contact data is reliable too, with accuracy usually around 90% which makes it very useful for outreach.
Cons
A few records still come up with little or no information, the CRM functionality isn't the strongest part of the platform and the pricing feels a little expensive.
