“Misleading contract!”
Pros
Honestly there wasn't anything positive about this experience. The way the contracting and onboarding were handled kept us from getting the TalentOS product our Talent Acquisition team believed we were purchasing.
Cons
We were pushed to sign the agreement that same day to lock in a supposedly discounted price. Even though we had already been a TalentOS customer and clearly communicated that our function was Talent Acquisition, the contract we were given was actually for a different product. We only realized that during onboarding later that day.

“Prospecting powerhouse for sales”
Pros
When it comes to prospecting, it seems indispensable. The core functionality of pulling contact details for just about any target is incredibly strong and the way it helps uncover similar prospects adds even more value. I honestly couldn't prospect effectively without it.
Cons
There are times when the data is outdated or simply wrong. Even though it usually helps me get off to a strong start, it has occasionally led to awkward and unprofessional moments by showing personal phone numbers or even a spouse's number as a business contact.

“Faster prospecting with strong filters”
Pros
Prospecting became a lot faster with ZoomInfo. The contact database is broad and the filtering options let us put together targeted lead lists in a short amount of time which saved us a lot of effort compared with researching companies by hand.
Cons
One issue was that the contact data was not always accurate particularly for Canadian companies. Some people listed were outdated or had already left the organization so we still needed to spend extra time checking leads before reaching out.

“has useful features”
Pros
Whenever I need to really dig into a contact or company before reaching out, it gives me a lot to work with. The platform offers strong data depth along with useful features like intent signals which makes it much easier to understand who I am targeting and how to approach them.
Cons
It's definitely a strong product but getting good value from the yearly cost takes time and effort. You really have to invest in using it properly to see a good return.

“Misleading sales pitch and oversell”
Pros
The sample dataset they shared at the beginning of the sales process was actually fairly decent. Based on that initial preview, I expected its data quality to be much better overall.
Cons
Once we got into the platform, it became clear that there really wasn't any meaningful data beyond what had already been shown in the original sample. The sales process felt very misleading and the product was heavily oversold.

“Valuable prospecting data integration”
Pros
Having access to contact details, company information and other useful data for prospecting new customers has been really helpful. It's also a big plus that the information can live directly inside the CRM.
Cons
Like other tools in this category, one issue is that data on private companies isn't always fully accurate and some records can become outdated especially for smaller organizations.

“Useful prospecting and account alerts”
Pros
Prospecting is a big part of my job so having quick access to contact details like email addresses and mobile numbers has been a major advantage. On top of that I can set up alerts for specific accounts and stay updated on company changes that matter to my role which helps me time my outreach better.
Cons
The issue that comes up pretty often is that the data can be outdated. Mobile numbers are sometimes wrong and I also run into privacy concerns from people when I contact them using information that it has gathered.

“Valuable data and prospecting insights”
Pros
ZoomInfo has been really useful for finding contact data and pushing those contacts straight into my CRM. I also really like getting scoops and intent signals on the companies I am prospecting since that adds more context and helps prioritize outreach.
Cons
One frustrating part is the login window, whether it's for the extension or the main platform. It takes forever to load and glitches pretty often.

“LinkedIn plugin is a win”
Pros
One thing that keeps me coming back to it is the size of its database and how well it integrates with the rest of my workflow. The LinkedIn plugin in particular has been incredibly valuable for lead generation and is now one of the tools I rely on most.
Cons
The biggest downside is the price which feels a bit steep especially since many SMEs seem to be switching to Apollo for that reason. It also comes with a number of features that feel unnecessary and while the database isn't perfectly accurate, the overall data quality is still quite strong.

“pretty expensive!”
Pros
The thing that's genuinely useful is how much accurate information the platform gives you when you're researching a company or trying to find direct contact details. A lot of the time it includes the exact person you need, along with their email and sometimes even a cell number which is all incredibly helpful.
Cons
It has to be pricey because our management team seems determined to force it on us every chance they get. The way they talk about it, you'd think we clueless sales reps never managed to accomplish anything before it showed up.

“strong lead generation platform”
Pros
Right from the start I find the interface clean and professional and the platform offers a wide range of features backed by good data quality. Setup is fairly easy too and it works really well as a lead generation tool.
Cons
Its biggest downside is the price and it can take some time before you really learn how to get the full value out of it. You also have to watch your credits closely because they can add up fast.

“Direct contacts that boost outreach”
Pros
As a sales rep being able to pull direct phone lines and email addresses for the exact people I need to reach is incredibly valuable. It really helps speed up outreach and makes prospecting much more effective.
Cons
The pricing can be tough for some teams to justify and one thing that bothers me is that the phone number data is not updated often enough. I'd estimate around 10% of the numbers are probably incorrect.

“Intent data that boosts outreach”
Pros
Having access to the intent data and company insights feels like getting a clear view into which accounts are actually in the market. It's made a real difference in how I prioritize outreach and where I spend my time since I can focus more on the opportunities with the most potential. The CRM integration has also worked really well so I spend less time dealing with admin tasks and more time actually selling.
Cons
Well overall data quality is good but every now and then I still run into inaccurate or outdated contact details. That can be pretty frustrating especially when you're depending on it for high-volume outreach.

“Pricey with weak EU coverage”
Pros
Its data quality was decent especially for U.S. contacts. The search functionality inside the platform was good as well, even though I still preferred Cognism's UI.
Cons
It came across as a costly option compared with other tools on the market and the sales team kept pushing additional expensive add-ons and features. EU contact data wasn't as strong and the intent feature never really delivered anything useful.

“filtering tools are amazing”
Pros
The search features worked really well and having so many filters available made it much easier to narrow down exactly what I needed. The downloading process was also pretty easy and simple to use.
Cons
The biggest issue for me was the price since it felt too expensive. On top of that they required a full year of payment upfront which ended up being another deal breaker. During the short time I used it, I also ran into more invalid email addresses than I expected.

“positive experience”
Pros
There's a huge volume of contacts in the database which makes it really useful for finding phone numbers, email addresses and leads to reach out to. It covers almost every company I look up so that part has been a big positive.
Cons
One downside is that not every phone number or email address is accurate. A lot of the time, the only number available is the company's headquarters line and some of the email addresses seem to be estimated rather than confirmed.

“Extensive contact database available”
Pros
I noticed there is a clear reason ZoomInfo is considered a leader in business prospecting such as the size of its contact database is huge. Access to reliable contacts was the biggest reason we chose it and that part delivered. We were able to identify target companies and the right contacts across all of our markets nationwide pretty quickly and the accuracy was fairly good overall.
Cons
The biggest downside is the cost. Even though it has the data, it was also the most expensive option we came across in our research and that makes it really hard for smaller businesses to justify. It seems like the platform is built more for larger sales teams which may be intentional. I also noticed that some account contact information hadn't been refreshed in a while.

“software that performs”
Pros
One of the biggest benefits of it for us is how quickly it enriches our CRM account and contact records. Also it gives us the key details we need to better prioritize which accounts deserve attention first.
Cons
Its price is definitely on the higher side compared with similar tools and we still run into occasional cases where the data is inaccurate, even though their team is usually eager to correct it.

“Strong AMER prospecting coverage”
Pros
Overall the platform does a good job of sourcing prospecting data especially for markets like AMER. It's also useful for building lists and handling that kind of outreach prep.
Cons
On the EMEA side though the data is frequently missing or inaccurate. Since I work as an EMEA-based sales rep, I hardly use it anymore because of that.

“not recommended”
Pros
To be fair the interface looks amazing and the range of integrations and advertised capabilities seems impressive at first glance. The onboarding was organized and our early interactions with the sales team felt professional.
Cons
Actually using the platform was completely different from how it was presented. The intent data which they strongly promote as one of the product's biggest strengths, was repeatedly inaccurate and ended up being unusable for our outbound team. Even after putting in a lot of effort internally, we saw virtually no meaningful return and before long the team stopped using the platform entirely. The bigger issue though was its commercial behavior. Even after sending us written confirmation that our renewal had been canceled, they later changed course and started aggressively chasing payment for another full year of service. This happened despite the fact that they were fully aware we neither use nor want the product. That kind of conduct shows a complete lack of commercial integrity and gives the impression of a business built more on complex contract enforcement than on delivering real value. Their pricing approach raises similar concerns such as initial quotes came in at five figures per month, then dropped substantially once pushed back on. Even at the lower price, the product still did not come close to justifying the cost. Overall the company seems set up to maximize revenue with very little accountability, while locking customers into unfavorable terms regardless of the actual results or customer experience.
