Supportive team

Pros

It has given us much better control and visibility over inventory as well as user performance. Their team has been very supportive of their WMS and LMS products and I've personally seen our operation move from somewhat inefficient to highly efficient in a pretty short amount of time. My favorite part is the metrics and KPI functionality. It's really useful for tracking performance, time spent and problem areas and it becomes especially valuable during employee review discussions.

Cons

The only area where we needed a workaround was the returns process. When defective products come back and we handle the return through WMS, our ERP recognizes the first step as the item going back into stock before a return-to-vendor is approved. Because of that, it can end up allocating the item to a back order. To avoid that issue, we process the return in the ERP first and if the product is approved to go back into stock, we then induct it through Latitude. Even with that extra step, the process is still pretty simple.

Cooperative staff

Pros

Whenever something comes up, their support team is there to help which has been a big plus for us. The system is very flexible and the integration with our ERP, SAP Business One, works well. We move dozens of pallets each month across more than 20,000 SKUs and Latitude keeps up with that volume without any problems.

Cons

Because the system is so powerful and advanced, it comes with a huge number of settings buttons, dropdowns and adjustment options. That can feel overwhelming for new users and if someone starts changing things they do not fully understand, it can create unintended issues.
