We haven't started using the software in daily operations yet so there really aren't any downsides to mention at this point. We're hoping to be up and running soon.

Getting started with this system was quick and the integration process went without much hassle. It's user-friendly, offers a decent level of customization and the customer support team has been very helpful to us whenever needed.

Cons

Something that would improve it is having a separate contact field to show which agent sent a specific order especially when working with customers who have multiple agents. The per-user licensing is also on the expensive side.

PCS is easy to use and the customer support team has been outstanding whenever we've needed them.

A few features can feel a bit inconsistent and some fixes for mistakes seem to work in a backward way.

Pros

It makes handling the day-to-day demands of fleet management much more manageable. It's user friendly and does a solid job covering regulatory compliance, personnel, owner-operators and accounting needs all in one place.

Cons

If I had to suggest one improvement, it would be the ability to view the full checking account balance right when opening the account register, instead of only seeing the dollar amount.

The level of detail this program keeps with records and information is impressive. It can handle just about everything a trucking company needs which makes it a very capable system overall.

Invoicing has been challenging for us because it doesn't let us enter the level of detail our customers want for bulk freight billing.

Pros

Dispatching drivers is super easy especially when they're using the app. If they aren't, we just send them a screenshot and that works too.

Cons

Trailer tracking still doesn't come through in the system.

“Useful driver payroll”

Pros

The Driver Payroll layout has been the most useful part for me especially since it works for 1099 processing and other payroll-related needs. That matters a lot in trucking when year-end calculations and tax reporting come around so having that flexibility is a big advantage.

Cons

I really have not run into any feature I disliked. The only thing I would suggest is improving how settlements are generated for a single driver over a longer working period, like 1 to 3 months. Right now, you have to open each Payroll Batch one at a time and it would be much better if a user could generate one driver's full settlement from a single tab or option.

Having accounting, trip details, automatic reports and payroll all built into one system is fantastic. It's really convenient to manage everything in a single place.

Cons

The language barrier made it challenging to train some of our staff.

Pros

One of the biggest advantages is how well it connects with most vendors. It automatically deducts fuel usage, supports tracking through KT ELD and includes PC Miler integration. The free mobile app is probably the best part because we can dispatch loads straight to drivers without sending rate confirmations back and forth or dealing with long email chains. With one click, the driver gets everything they need.

Cons

This software is definitely complex and because it has so many features, it can feel a bit difficult to use at the beginning. Once we got familiar with it and learned how to use it properly, we were able to get much more value from it and it turned out to be better than the systems we had used before.

PCS has been an excellent platform for our team. The training is thorough, with plenty of hands-on videos and webinars that make learning the system much easier. Their roadmap also makes it clear they're committed to improving the software and keeping up with industry needs. We really value the security and dependability of a cloud-based system and the pricing fits our company well.

Cons

On the rare occasion that the software has downtime, everything comes to a halt for the company since there isn't a way to switch over to a backup system immediately.

The scanning in this system is a big step up from the one we used before and it's something I really appreciate.

There are times during the day when it can slow down especially if you're working live on their server.

It's simple to locate exactly what you need and having the option to print or export the manifest is really helpful.

Inability to tab across columns should be fixed and I'd also like the screen to be resizable for better visibility.

Navigation is very simple and the system feels almost self-explanatory to me. Getting around the TMS is easy enough that even a brand-new user could figure it out without needing to rely on a user guide.

Cons

Only real problem I've run into is that I can't generate payables reports for third-party payees like factoring companies. Even then, it's a pretty minor issue compared with all the strong points the product has.

It covers pretty much everything a trucking company needs so it feels like a complete all-in-one system.

It is not very user friendly and the system can feel complicated at times.

Quick access to the training videos has been really useful. Another thing I like is the fact that getting around the program feels very easy.

The system runs without lag. It also gives our drivers the information they need and that makes things more convenient for everyone.

It gets frustrating is how often updates come through and it also logs me out from time to time.

“Auto-rating speeds up onboarding”

Pros

One of the best parts of Express for us has been the auto-rating feature. It makes onboarding new billing clerks much quicker since we do not have to walk them through all the fine details for every individual customer. We also really value the access to load information. The system gives back exactly what you enter so when all the details from a BOL are added, it becomes much easier to search and find that information later when it is actually needed.

Cons

Only problem is that it is not really designed for Canadian companies and GST has to be added manually to every invoice which becomes repetitive and time-consuming.

I like having everything bundled into one transportation software solution because it day-to-day work much more convenient.

Occassionally it freezes especially during billing or when working across multiple screens and the dual-monitor view can be a little unreliable.

Pros

Keeping track of everything is really easy for me and so is managing all our drivers. PCS keeps things simple and efficient.

Cons

There's definitely a learning curve because each tab has a lot packed into it so it can feel overwhelming at first.
