So far, so good. It has an amazing accounting features and customization options are something I like the most.

Cons

Mobile PCS Express works well for drivers, but I'd love to see it integrated with more ELD systems especially Motive.

PCS TMS is highly user-friendly and easy to use. Training our employees on it was also not a hassle and everyone was able to access it without any issues.

Sometimes, it takes longer than we expected to complete a process from start to finish.

I really like how the operating and accounting systems are integrated. And the drill down feature makes it easy for us to instantly connect to sources in both areas.

Well I've noticed that the system, most of the time assumes a single scenario instead of accounting for multiple possibilities. For example, when a carrier switches factoring companies, payments may need to go to both the previous and new factoring company at the same time, but the software doesn't always handle that smoothly. Another issue is with charter loads that have multiple drivers. It does not always account for them properly. Financial statement organization could also be improved. For now, it would be really helpful if multiple office locations could be viewed separately while still displaying a grand total for managers overseeing them all.

Everything from dispatch to maintenance and accounting is available one place which makes everything our work way easier.

I failed to get an accurate reading of miles driven according to ELD for payroll, and overtime calculations are never fully accurate.

I feel like the cost doesn't match what the system delivers or what it's capable of, especially when you compare it to other service providers. One of my biggest frustrations is the reporting as there's just not enough flexibility. Plus the system has very limited options for pulling or customizing reports, so I often have to run multiple variations just to get all the data I need. On top of that, it doesn't really scale with a growing business. It is not adaptable to meet the needs of a company thats expanding, which can be pretty limiting in the long run.

“A great option worth considering

PCS TMS is easy to use. I have been using PCS for over six years and it has always worked well for me.

Cons

It system shuts down randomly. When I am working from home on Wi-Fi, it sometimes just quits on me out of nowhere.

It is an all in one solution where I can create loads and dispatch them easily.

I really wish the system would factor in hazmat routes and DOT break requirements when calculating expected delivery times. As if for now, it doesn't seem to take those into account.

One thing I really like is that the accounting module is built right into the dispatch system. And overall, it works well enough that I don't feel the need to look for something else.

Some reports aren't accurate and getting a solution for them is not at all easy.

It can pretty much handle everything our trucking company needs. It's flexible and overall, quite user-friendly.

One thing I dislike is that I can't sort locations by address.

I love that the dispatch and accounting systems are fully integrated. It makes everything so much easier to manage without having to jump between different platforms.

The LTL feature doesn't work well and dispatch and load confirmations do not include all the necessary details.
