From day one, PCS has worked really well for us. The support team has been fantastic, the features are user-friendly and there's a lot of training material available whenever we need it.

Only thing I'd change is the report builder since it takes some effort to learn without reaching out to support although they're always willing to help when needed.

PCS gives us a full accounting system with user-friendly modules and prebuilt reports that make auditing and monitoring financial performance simpler. The driver payroll feature works really well and the best part is how accurately the fuel and escrow balances are handled in the background which keeps the whole process simple and dependable.

Before PCS, I was using a separate premium accounting program alongside my dispatch software so having everything automated now and avoiding double entry is a big plus. That said, the accounting and payroll side does have a downside: payroll feels too restrictive and somewhat limited. The tax calculations from the payroll service I use never line up with PCS so we end up making a journal entry to balance everything properly. By limited, I mean there are only so many fields available for extra pay items like bonus, vacation and holiday pay. If all of those need to be included in the same payroll run, I'm only able to choose one of them.

Monitoring data is very simple and I can pull up several different reports whenever I need them.

It's difficult to get a complete report showing all the expenses tied to each truck.

Every now and then it freezes especially when I enter an address the system doesn't recognize. Still, it's a pretty minor issue for me since I can just wait a bit and keep going.

PCS was really simple for us to pick up and it's been easy to stay current with whenever upgrades roll out.

A few updates can be frustrating when they first come out but those issues usually get resolved pretty fast.

The limited technical support outside regular business hours is a bummer since we operate beyond the usual schedule. That said, it has only been an issue a handful of times over the last 12 months.

A drawback I've noticed is the user interface which feels a little outdated. It also only runs on Windows computers instead of being native to macOS and there's no true cloud-based access since you have to download the program to use it.
