“built-in integrations”
Pros
Having those integrations built into the platform is really useful because it lets you handle several tasks from one system instead of jumping between multiple websites and logins.
Cons
There's a noticeable lag at times although that may be more related to the internet connection. We're also still waiting for bill pay to be added once it's implemented.

“Offers clean data view”
Pros
The interface is simple enough that even newcomers can get comfortable with it quickly. It also makes it convenient to review a large amount of data at a glance without feeling overwhelmed.
Cons
The overall look and interface feel outdated. I think the sorting options are not as strong as they should be and adding AI for enquiries and issue resolution would help reduce the need for agent involvement.

“great info storage”
Pros
One of the biggest benefits has been the integration with our ELD provider since it updates odometer readings every day automatically. It also does a good job of storing the information we need for safety reports which has been really useful.
Cons
It can't really be used on a tablet or cell phone. We have to open it on a desktop or laptop instead which makes it less convenient.

“Accounting needs major work”
Pros
Dispatch side does a decent job and it lets us enter most of the information we need. The Lists, Dispatch and Fleet features all work fairly well overall, with the exception of Accounting.
Cons
Accounting still needs a lot of work. In Invoice Payment Entry, we can mark multiple invoices as "Pay off" but if we need to undo that, only one invoice can be unmarked at a time. On top of that, when an adjustment is needed for an invoice, every paid item has to be removed first and that means going through and manually unchecking each one from "Pay off." Another issue is with sending invoices by email. PCS does send them to customers but the email it generates does not show the recipient's email address. Because of that, when we forward the sent invoice email as proof that it was sent, customers often claim they never received it since there is no receiver address displayed.

“Frequent crashes”
Pros
The handoff from entering a load to dispatching it and getting it out to the driver feels smooth. That part works well.
Cons
For me the biggest problem is how often it shuts down. While I'm entering loads or dispatching, it will suddenly bug out, disconnect and completely close way too often.

“Limited integrations and customization”
Pros
It keeps data management simple and efficient which makes real-time load tracking much easier for us. It's beginner-friendly and simple to navigate so every day operations feel more organized without requiring a long learning process.
Cons
The system can be slow, there aren't many user-level customization options and the flexibility for third-party apps or API integrations is fairly limited.

“responsive support”
Pros
Whenever we need assistance, PCS support is there and genuinely helpful. The Data Management side also puts everything we need within reach quickly so getting to important information only takes a click.
Cons
Keyboard-only navigation needs improvement. Having to switch to the mouse for certain tasks slows me down and being able to do more directly from the keyboard would make the workflow faster and smoother.

“accurate fleet insights”
Pros
It really stands out to me for its accurate real-time tracking and user-friendly interface. It makes vehicle and fleet management much simpler while also offering detailed reports and useful data insights. The platform helps boost operational efficiency, improves driver accountability and gives better control over day-to-day logistics activities. Also the customer support team is responsive and helpful which makes the overall experience dependable and hassle-free.
Cons
Occassionally the system feels a little slow when loading detailed reports or handling larger volumes of data. The interface could also use a more modern design especially for new users. Even so, these feel like small areas for improvement and do not have much impact on the system's overall performance.

“spreadsheet exports across multiple screens”
Pros
Being able to work across multiple screens at the same time is a big advantage. My favorite part is that any report can be converted into a spreadsheet which makes data handling much more convenient.
Cons
I can't search for specific reports so tracking them down can be difficult at times. There are also some payables showing up on the AP report that I'm unable to remove.

“Outdated design”
Pros
I appreciate thate the reporting tools and EDI invoicing are simple to use and the fact that once documents are in the system making changes to them is pretty simple.
Cons
Something that I find frustrating is the fact that I can't drag and drop documents into the system. The interface feels very dated and it's difficult to track an entire load from start to finish without jumping between several screens. It also doesn't provide much visibility into system activity, like timestamps and user details across all screens.

“Cloud-based convenience”
Pros
Being fully cloud-based is a big advantage for us since there's really no hardware to deal with. The team is quick to respond whenever something comes up and the mobile app lets us collect paperwork in real time. That really helps with the whole deliver-today, bill-today process and they absolutely support that goal.
Cons
Fleet maintenance side can be a little tricky if your company runs its own repair shop. That said, they're actively reworking that part of the system and asking customers for feedback which is something I really appreciate.

“Terrific support”
Pros
PCS generally works really well and the support I receive from their team is honestly what makes the biggest difference. That level of help has been a real standout for me.
Cons
The biggest problem for us is the cost since it's very expensive. It also feels overdue for an update. The refresh was shown to me more than a year ago and it would be nice to finally have it.

“dependable platform”
Pros
Even without a flashy interface, PCS TMS has been a dependable and solid platform for our needs. The customer support team is excellent and the staff really know what they're doing.
Cons
What I'd love to see is a solution from PCS that automates the loads created inside their TMS.

“frustrating system freezes”
Pros
It's layout is very simple. A lot of the features work similarly to Excel, like sorting and related functions and that's something I really appreciate.
Cons
The biggest problem is how often it freezes and logs me out sometimes right in the middle of what I'm doing. When that happens, it doesn't return me to the same place so I end up wasting a lot of time trying to figure out what was completed and what wasn't before it kicked me out.

“centralized records and driver ap”
Pros
Keeping every load and record in a single system has been really helpful. The driver app is also a big plus because drivers can see all of their load details there and upload paperwork directly. That has made it much easier for us to stay on top of customer billing.
Cons
Dollar-per-mile reporting is a problem. The app factors in bounce miles based on the driver's current location so our reports keep coming out inaccurate. It would help a lot if there were an option to use the dispatch location instead of pulling location data from the app because right now we have to correct those reports manually.

“Comprehensive trucking features”
Pros
PCS brings together a lot of the pieces needed to run a trucking company which makes day-to-day operations much more manageable. It has a wide range of features and while there's definitely a lot to learn, their customer service team is consistently available and helpful whenever support is needed.
Cons
There are still some limits in how the system can be used since not every feature can be customized and that can make certain tasks frustrating at times. I'm also not a fan of the time card function requiring a shift selection. We have drivers who don't work on a fixed schedule and those are exactly the employees we need to track with time cards the most.

“Fleet and financial management”
Pros
PCS has really helped our team stay on top of fleet management, load dispatching, financial tracking and connecting third-party tools. The interface is clean and the basic support team has been helpful when we've needed them.
Cons
When it comes to more complicated technical problems, support can be frustrating because responses tend to be slow. If something is seriously broken, it usually takes longer than it should to get resolved.

“simple navigation”
Pros
Compared with a lot of other TMS platforms I've worked in before, PCS feels pretty simple to use and get around in.
Cons
I'd change is how it handles payroll for employees on direct deposit. I'd rather it post a single transaction to the ledger during direct deposit payroll instead of listing every employee separately the way it currently does, similar to how it works when payroll is paid by check.

“Broad platform connections”
Pros
Since it's cloud-based, there's no need to stress about updates on our end which is a huge advantage. The mobile-friendly setup also helps management keep track of things from anywhere. Additionally it connects well with just about any platform out there.
Cons
Pricing didn't sit well with me. Even though this is one of the older TMS options in the market, its pricing doesn't feel competitive. It seems to me that the cost is one of the reasons customers may end up looking elsewhere.

“very poor accounting reports”
Pros
The sales team appears to use it pretty effectively for scheduling loads and staying on top of customer follow-ups.
Cons
Accounting and reporting are where it really falls short. Since I handle accounting, I'm responsible for reporting results to management and the reports we can pull from PCS into Excel are incomplete and disorganized. That leaves us with very limited options when it comes to presenting accurate results.
