Even without a manual, it's easy to use and figure out.
Cons
The inventory module automatically generates a reversing entry when material is received, and it is when I have manually removed it.

“So Easy Even I Can Do it!
Pros
AccountEdge Pro is highly user-friendly. Although there's a slight learning curve at the beginning, it's a simple system that allows me to handle all my accounting needs.
Cons
It's not easy to find any significant issues to complain about with AccountEdge. However, when I switch from one banking account to another, I need to double-check that I'm using the correct checks, which requires some thought.

Pros
The ease of use and the level of detail I can obtain with the reports are impressive.
Cons
It's inconvenient that when I upgrade the software, it doesn't save and transfer my forms. It's a hassle to recreate invoices and other documents.

Cons
Sometimes you have to perform so many steps in the software. For example I don't need to be asked three times if I really want to perform a certain action.

“Fantastic Software for smaller companies
Pros
This program is perfect for a "simple" operation like mine. It's easy to use, offers drill-down capabilities and provides multiple reports. While it can handle multiple companies, it may not be suitable for conglomerates with 3+ locations requiring consolidated statements. However, its AR, AP, payroll, and billing functions are more than sufficient, and I've never encountered any data corruption issues.
Cons
I haven't come across any issues personally, but this software works great for a simple GL. You can have a large number of accounts, but it becomes a bit trickier if you want to incorporate departments or cost centers. I would like to mention that you can only store 3 years of data on it. Depending on your needs, you may prefer the ability to access 5 to 10 years of history for drilling down.

I find this accounting software to be highly flexible as it allows me to customize it according to my specific requirements and get my work done efficiently.
Cons
I find it expensive, and there's also an additional cost for the cloud services. Furthermore, while statements can be downloaded, the transactions cannot.

Pros
When it comes to managing accounts for small businesses, this software does an excellent job. It's easy to use and even beginners can quickly adapt to it.
Cons
I believe the customer service of this software team should be improved a lot. There is room for adding more features to enhance this product.

I must say that it is incredibly user-friendly for both current and new employees. The training and adaptation process is smooth, and the conversion was quick and hassle-free. It's an extremely effective accounting program.
Cons
The biggest complaint is the lack of searching capabilities. Adding a searching module would greatly improve the effectiveness of the program and make our accounting tasks easier. I kindly request that this feature be added.

“Overall good product but not my favorite
Pros
While I have worked with AccountEdge for some time, my previous experience with Peachtree Sage 2010 software left a stronger impression. AccountEdge is good for getting things done quickly, providing simple solutions, but I would not recommend relying on it for the long run.
Cons
We encountered a problem with one of the software updates, which caused some of our records to have blanks. We noticed that the update had wiped out the recent information we had entered into the system. Fortunately, we had recently performed an update, so we didn't lose any important data. However, after this incident, we made the decision to cancel our Account Edge account and try QuickBooks for a change.

“Phenomenal Product!
Pros
The database is well-organized and structured, making bookkeeping a simple task. It's highly user-friendly, and since transitioning from QuickBooks, it has been an excellent experience for us.
Cons
I'm disappointed with the program's update process on Windows. When I updated it, the update took so much time, causing me to lose half a day of work. It was very frustrating because the update started automatically without my input. Also the customer service experience was very poor.

Pros
It's pretty simple and easy to use, with frequent updates and a simple interface. Adding products, sales, purchases and other tasks is easy.
Cons
One drawback I've noticed is the lack of integration with SalesForce. It would greatly simplify things if data could be transferred between the two systems without manual intervention.

Pros
I love the fact that this software is mine, and no one can start charging me to continue using it. It's also user-friendly, the support is good and even my accountant enjoys working with it. After using Simply (now SAGE) for 20 years, the updates and costs were becoming unreasonable. Switching to AccountEdge wasn't an easy decision, but after the first month, I regretted not making the change years ago.
Cons
Unfortunately, my accountant cannot easily access a specific journal entry from the previous year without referring to our backup files. This has extended the year-end process.

Pros
AccountEdge for Mac is a reliable accounting program that allows me to keep track of all financial aspects of my company. It's also helpful that I can handle my own payroll using this software.
Cons
The product's compatibility with iOS devices is poor. The AccountEdge for iPhone application hasn't kept up with its competitors. In contrast, my personal iBank iPhone application seamlessly integrates with my desktop program which allows me to track my finances in real time, even when I'm on the go.

“Frequent updates. Updates resulted in recording data. Had to cancel today. Very cold reception by customer service. No Refunds
Pros
It may take a bit of time to get used to, but once you do, this program becomes your own. Data entry and finding recorded entries are easy and convenient.
Cons
We faced problems due to the software updates. The automated renewal without consent was unfair, and the customer service was poor. Also it was annoying that there was no phone option for customer service, and our emailed concerns and inquiries were often misunderstood. Additionally, we felt pressured to use their online store facilitation, which was bothersome.
