I like how Bill streamlines financial automation. At my company, we rely on it to swiftly handle invoices, whether uploaded from computers, emails, or via mobile with just a photo. Bill plays a crucial role in our digital finance transformation, offering scalability and rapid invoice generation. Its tracking system keeps us informed about invoice statuses, enhancing our control over finances.

Cons

I find the customer support response times frustratingly slow. When urgent attention is needed, this delay can significantly impact processes, especially with issues like email duplicates that are exacerbated by their sluggish handling.

Bill makes it easy to receive ACH payments from clients

Pros

Bill provides a seamless method for receiving invoice payments. While I don't directly invoice through Bill myself, many of my clients use it for ACH payments, which benefits all parties involved due to its simplicity and efficiency.

Cons

Initially, I was uncertain about Bill.com when asked to join by a client for payment purposes. Despite receiving multiple calls from Bill requesting more business information, I've declined as I'm satisfied with its current functionality and have no interest in adding more features or upgrading my account.

My interaction with Bill is solely as an end-user. I value its capability to create invoices for clients who utilize it for billing and accounting purposes. The process of entering invoices is direct, and I like being able to monitor payment requests once submitted. Filtering invoices is intuitive, ensuring I focus only on relevant features. While I don't utilize it for payment processing, Bill serves excellently for accounts receivable, ensuring prompt payments with reasonable processing fees and expedited processing options.

Cons

As an end-user with limited experience, there have been occasional instances where my payment requests weren't received or were duplicated. While not frequent, delays in payment processing can be more prolonged than ideal. However, companies fully utilizing Bill.com's suite seem satisfied, having used it successfully over the long term.

Bill.com is the slowest invoicing and funding provider of them all.

Pros

Bill.com maintains robust security measures and seamlessly integrates with most accounting platforms, ensuring reliable operations across financial systems.

Cons

The customer (not us) has considerable control over scheduling payment amounts and dates, even altering them after appearing paid. From our perspective, clarity on payment receipt before shipment is crucial. Unfortunately, the funding process via ACH takes 7-8 business days or longer, which lacks competitiveness. It's evident that besides the $79 software fee, much of their revenue stems from the float on both our receivables and payables. Ensuring prompt payments for all parties involved is paramount to us, minimizing waiting times.
