Effortless Time Tracking and Invoicing, Integration Glitches

The integration of time tracking, invoicing, and billing processes is impressively smooth. The QuickBooks integration stands out for its user-friendly approach. The onboarding experience was seamless, and I must acknowledge the exceptional support provided by Montae H, Collin Tatone, and Brian O'Donnell. Clients greatly appreciate the convenience of Wallet-based payments, and my team swiftly embraced the time input procedure. I'm eagerly anticipating the utilization of the project management tools for an upcoming major project. BigTime's potential to enhance efficiency and cut costs is significant.
However, the resource planning aspect is quite inadequate for a consulting firm's needs. It seems that the system lacks a solid understanding of resource planning dynamics. For instance, it operates under the assumption that projects are only planned when agreements start. This poses a problem for consultants looking to allocate resources for future tasks. The software doesn't provide a clear differentiation between future and ongoing work on a single screen, nor does it offer color coding to aid in such distinctions. As a result, toggling between multiple screens becomes necessary. The software's functionality is questionable; for instance, even after closing a project and marking all tasks as complete, the resource allocation tool retains future allocations, rendering it ineffective. Additionally, using external team members like1099 consultants to lead projects is challenging due to the inability to restrict financial data access while allowing the use of PM tools. The software's support claims were also disappointing, as promised flexibility in usage turned out to be false. The absence of phone support and lengthy queues for browser-based assistance further exacerbate the issue. Bugs are prevalent across various aspects, often dismissed as unique to our situation. This indicates potential flaws in the software's development. Overall, it feels more like a billing tool than a comprehensive project management solution for the services industry.

It would be beneficial to have a training guide available for staff members. While the admin training portal is useful, it is limited to administrators only. It would be ideal to have the ability to monitor my staffs progress through training.

One drawback is the calculation of daily hours, as it can be easy to overlook and miss having the correct number of hours recorded, particularly distinguishing regular hours from overtime.

My time with BigTime has been filled with incredible highs and surprisingly shallow lows. Before BigTime, I was using outdated software, and the transition to Bigtime was seamless and effortless. There are so many features that it can be overwhelming at first, but once you get used to the platform it can be incredibly useful. The customer service is top-notch, and they are always willing to help you out with any issues or questions you may have.
I wont say the software is perfect. There are definitely some areas that could use improvement, such as the user interface, which can sometimes be a tad clunky and unintuitive. The project management features also arent as robust as I would like them to be.

I recently had the opportunity to try out BigTime, and I found its time-tracking features to be highly powerful. It enables me to easily monitor additional hours, extras, and other essential data. The platforms configurable reports allow us to generate detailed statistics on project progress, resource allocation, and other crucial data points.
One aspect that Im not particularly fond of in BigTime is its pricing, especially for smaller companies or individuals who may not require all the advanced capabilities. I have also encountered issues with inaccurate invoicing and unexpected expenses. Additionally, concerns have been raised about customer service, including slow response times and unhelpful staff.

Weve found that its great for tracking time, managing resources, and creating financial reports. Its also been a great tool for our team to collaborate on projects.
The only real downside is that the software can be a bit expensive compared to other platforms. But you do get what you pay for in terms of features and support. I would also like to see some additional features like integration with other popular business applications.

BigTime has definitely made my life a lot easier. I needed to find a comprehensive project management tool and BigTime was the perfect solution for me. Its allowed me to better track time, collaborate with my team, and manage resources. The customer service is also second to none and I always get quick and helpful responses when I have any questions or issues.
The only downside that I can think of is that the software can be a bit complex at times. For example, I was trying to use BigTime to sync with QuickBooks but it took me a bit of time to figure out how to successfully do it.
