“Great for custom training and credential management
Pros
It is pretty effective at creating bespoke training modules by spotting trends in reports and audits which makes putting together courses for recurring problems much simpler. Plus at SafetyCulture we can tailor the layout to suit our needs and handle employee credentials through automated verification and tracking.
Cons
I get flooded with notifications when multiple people start updating or commenting on the same inspection. So at times they can be very overwhelming.

“Consistent feature delivery and updates
Pros
I really like the ongoing product development that the team keeps pushing on the platform. Plus the way they actually follow through on their promises by turning planned features into real, usable functionality is amazing.
Cons
Sometimes I find myself waiting for specific new features and although the team always delivers what they promise, those waits can get frustrating even if those waits are understandable and for the right reasons.

“Love connecting to our catalog for easy requests
Pros
One thing I like is that it allows me to connect directly to our approved catalog, so requesting items or getting approvals is really easy. Plus every piece of equipment has a QR code linked to it, giving me instant access to its history, inspection checks and location. I also rely on its reports to run audits which saves me from going through manual reviews.
Cons
The file storage area needs improvement. As per me a clearer, more organized layout would let me sort completed reports by project type.

“great for custom checklists
Pros
I really like the ability to build custom checklists. It is also simple to do inspections from my phone, even offline and the system automatically sends reminders so that needed repairs or actions don't get forgotten.
Cons
For smaller teams like mine, I sometimes struggle with the per-user fees and I have noticed that a number of the features are only available if you upgrade to higher-tier plans.

“Configurable inspections across sites
Pros
SafetyCulture is the best way I manage inspections, safety checks and training records across several sites. I also really like how configurable it is as I am able to modify templates and implement them into our internal procedures, making quick tweaks without having to involve IT at all. It has become second nature to pull the app up on my phone during walkarounds, log an issue right away and quickly check who has completed their latest safety modules.
Cons
The backend setup can feel a bit overwhelming at first, particularly when I am trying to create forms or configure automations. Also some dashboards could use more basic filtering and I'd find it helpful if reports were easier to sort by date or by site. I also notice that the mobile app sometimes feels more restricted than the desktop version which can slow me down when I am working out in the field occasionally.

“great for standardized incident reports
Pros
At my company, I rely on this platform to let people report issues they face in our enterprise applications using standardized incident-reporting templates that are available on both web and mobile. I also like that those templates were created within this digital platform and can be easily customized in the editor with drag and drop tools. There is even an AI-powered feature that can produce a template for me when I give it a prompt describing the requirement.
Cons
As per my experience, the AI-driven template creation works well only when I provide a clear and detailed description of the fields I need. Otherwise it usually generates a very generic template that then needs further editing before it becomes useful which takes time.

“transformed incident management
Pros
Tracking how long each inspection takes, combined with SafetyCulture's sensors has transformed how we manage incidents. Small changes trigger instant alerts and the HeadsUp feature keeps our entire crew aware and coordinated in real-time.

“Fast checklist setup!
Pros
On a typical workday I mostly run inspections, keep up with daily checklists and consolidate all my audit evidence in one spot using SafetyCulture. The thing I like the most is how quickly I can set up or edit a checklist which is something I do nearly every day. Overall it's been a real time-saver not having to go through paper records or email chains anymore. Since all of our logs are stored inside the app and are simple for me to access and review.
Cons
Report generation feels a bit limited when it comes to customization and I frequently end up doing extra work in Excel after I export the data. I also find it difficult to get pictures formatted the way I want and dealing with locked sections in templates adds more issues than it should.

“Customizable IT incident reporting
Pros
I have been using SafetyCulture aka iAuditor to allow users to report IT incidents. Here the preloaded IT Incident Report template was a helpful starting point and later I customized it to fit our specific needs. Our goal was to capture every important detail about an IT issue so our resolution team could use that information to diagnose and fix the problem. And because the application is cloud-based, I found it very easy to set up, configure and deploy to end users, allowing them to submit detailed IT incident reports through the app whenever they come across an issue.
Cons
The open incidents summary on the dashboard is hard to use. I personally would prefer a calendar view showing both open and closed incidents. As this would help my team see the status and timeline at a glance without searching through lists.

“Paperless inspections with strong integrations
Pros
It is simple for people to use when carrying out inspections because of its clean interface in both the mobile app and on the website. I also really like that it has the potential to replace a lot of paperwork across the industry and I appreciate how receptive the team is to taking on and implementing customer suggestions. The integration possibilities are what genuinely excite me the most. I also liked the fast turnaround from customer support. Ideally I'd move most or all of our paperwork and computer tasks into SafetyCulture. I mean everything from training and ordering to tracking and auditing. As it feels like it could become a true one stop shop for industry work and it already has the basic structure to build that.
Cons
I think SafetyCulture's main weaknesses are in its reporting, tracking and audit modules. Such as industrial auditing is complex, so the tool needs to be more flexible while staying user-friendly. The device limit was a problem too. As individual logins don't work as well as shared logins on fixed devices in an industrial setting. I also found the audit logic and report generation a little complex. It would stand out with a better online template system. One that captures specific incidents, tracks metrics over time and sends alerts. The permission system is also too complicated. Managing templates should not require top-level access. Permissions need to be more detailed and customizable to improve everyday use and adoption.

Pros
Managing brand standards across many locations was much easier with this centralized system. Plus it ensured all our communications consistently reflected our corporate identity.

Pros
It is really simple to use. The templates for audits and inspections are highly adaptable and being able to attach photos and jot notes makes the reports much clearer. The mobile app also works reliably offline and syncs back up fast once I am online. It also lets our team follow up on safety issues, assign corrective actions and maintain compliance more steadily.
Cons
Even though the platform is powerful, getting everything set up takes a while for newcomers. Also I wish report exports and formatting offered greater customization. And from time to time the app runs slowly when I handle lots of photos or very large inspection jobs.

“Easy inspections with AI task creation
Pros
The software is user-friendly as it's incredibly easy for me to create tasks, communicate and complete inspections. I can also generate a template with AI in seconds by using a bunch of prompts which I think is really cool. Another big advantage is that the mobile app supports nearly all of the features found in the desktop version.
Cons

Plus having ready-made templates speeds up my tasks considerably and the AI capabilities are genuinely helpful when I need to resolve issues on the spot.
Cons
While I really like most aspects of the platform, I have noticed that getting truly proficient requires a significant amount of learning and time. I also wish document processing happened a bit more quickly than it does now, because the current pace is a little slow. And if the subscription cost were slightly lower, I believe more people would be inclined to try it.

Pros
I liked SafetyCulture's practicality. We used to do audits on paper and spreadsheets which caused rework and delays. “Easy mobile inspections and templates
Pros
SafetyCulture has a genuinely user-friendly interface that makes navigation simple. And because it's designed mobile-first, I can carry out inspections and audits easily while on site. I often create my own custom checklists or choose from a range of ready-made templates. Plus the tool adapts well across industries like construction, manufacturing, hospitality, healthcare and more and it delivers instant reports along with real-time analytics.
Cons
The free plan is pretty restrictive and doesn't let me use the app to its full potential. When I try to scale to larger teams or enterprise setups, the subscription costs quickly add up which is not good if my team uses only a handful of features frequently. Also getting comfortable with certain functions takes training, so new users may struggle at first. Also I have noticed occasional delays in report delivery as well.

And on mobile putting shortcuts for the things I use most right on the home screen has made important items more visible and managing tasks noticeably smoother.

Cons
Sometimes the platform changes are pushed through with very little heads-up and we end up in the dark about what's been altered. A few updates have broken workflows we relied on. “Guided reports with photos!
Pros
What I like is that it walks you through a step-by-step process and lets you attach photos and extra notes easily. I haven't actually created a job in SafetyCulture myself but I have used several templates that different companies have shared with me. That means I don't need to build a report from scratch or fuss with importing and resizing photos as I just enter the required information, take the necessary pictures and the app generates the report for me.
Cons
In my experience, the usefulness of the app depends heavily on how well the person setting up the job has configured the template. If they miss important details or don't account for variations that could occur on-site, the template can fall short, so it really comes down to the creator's competence and experience. I also sometimes have to enter null or placeholder data just to move to the next section and when I start an inspection it's not always clear how many questions there are or how long the whole process will take.

Using SafetyCulture helps me run technical inspections in our IT department more efficiently. I can tailor checklists to each environment which raises the standard of our reports. Also, the built-in help tool is unexpectedly handy for quick setup or when I have usage questions.
Cons
That said, the mobile app gives me trouble with heavier inspections as it can become slow or even crash when I am handling a lot of images or notes.

“Smart alerts and recurring tasks
Pros
Whenever an item is nearing expiration or requires revision, the platform sends us email alerts well ahead of time. Using it is easy too, allowing us to move through tasks and audits without friction and I also appreciate that we can schedule automated actions for the future, like setting up recurring inspections or assigning corrective actions when issues are found.
Cons
In my experience, SafetyCulture has met our expectations. its user-focused design really stands out and I have noticed it can scale to match the way we work now, accommodating growth and changing demands without much hassle.

“Centralized audits with flexible templates
Pros
The customizable interface gives me fine-grained control and lets me keep a precise record of every assessment and SafetyCulture helps me keep all of my processes centralized so I can quickly find information whenever I need it. I also appreciate that the app provides a large library of templates to streamline how I design evaluations and it's handy that I can switch between different devices mid-audit without losing progress. That flexibility really speeds up my workflow and reduces friction when audits are in motion.
Cons
On one occasion I struggled to export a document in a particular format from my computer. however, their support team resolved the issue and walked me through a clear, easy-to-follow fix that worked.

“Fast and simple implementation
Pros
We found SafetyCulture implemented several systems for our company very quickly.
Cons
I found the processes and reporting lacked sufficient flexibility. I wanted a simple way to pre-fill fields and progressively build on submissions but doing so proved difficult.

Pros
One thing I really appreciate about this app is that it provides a single platform I can rely on for all of our inspections, audits and assigned non-conformances, among other related tasks.
Cons
I haven't come across anything about this that I dislike.
