“Ibstock employee review as a user
Pros
Once I understand the system, it makes the process a bit easy, although it's not particularly user-friendly.
Cons
The software feels outdated and confusing, with limited interactive user assistance. It does not facilitate easy record retrieval which makes you rely on complex numbers and codes for information access.

“Steep learning curve if you aren't an accountant or haven't received training.
Pros
I like that the system performs self-checks for errors. It's also great that it keeps track of purchase order numbers.
Cons
The interface is quite confusing because of this you have to require unnecessary data input to obtain desired results.

“One of the main ERP for mid-size companies
Pros
The ability to integrate with all our platforms and software, and its capability to manage inventory, invoicing and other key processes of the company, are valuable.
Cons
A lot of training is required for business users. Also the ongoing support from system integrators is essential for successful deployment tailored to company needs.

“EnterpriseOne - It's Enough
Pros
It's relatively simple to learn and navigate, and the pricing entry point is affordable. It effectively handles our extensive manufacturing operations. The system operates at a consistent pace which minimize query waiting time.
Cons
Automating processes in E1 proves to be challenging. Our robotics team must create intricate loops, checks and tests to ensure smooth interaction between the automation software and E1. Additionally, E1 lacks the ability to handle retail operations efficiently, especially since we recently entered that market. Furthermore, the basic "vanilla" E1 package lacks certain standard features, such as robust reporting functions.

“Unmatched flexibility and customizability
Pros
I have had the experience of working with a few ERP systems. And I can say that while it is not simple to use Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, no other ERP has come close to its customization options. I believe that if you can put in the effort to efficiently implement this software system for your company, you will enjoy powerful benefits. Users that become experts with the interface will have much control over how they manage the different features.
Cons
As I said, Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is not a simplified ERP. It could be, but users have to configure it that way, and it is only possible because it does allow customization. However, this process is not only time-consuming, but you also need the users to be well-versed with the software system. Therefore, you will first have to invest your time and money (probably by outsourcing IT experts or hiring them) to get the most benefits out of this software.

“jde
Pros
I have been using it since 1993, and it feels like home. I can customize it to suit any need. I also like Oracle's support and their efforts in developing new features and technologies.
Cons
It would be beneficial if more organizations use of this software. And for that I believe Oracle needs to consider improving its marketing efforts.

“Fair experience on my 8 years of using this Software
Pros
I used this program in the manufacturing and shipping department. Creating production work orders involved multiple steps, which can be confusing for many but once you learn the process, it becomes easy. I added frequently used functions to my favorites for quick and easy access. The customer order reports only required entering the customer number and date ranges to retrieve all the necessary details. Exporting to Excel is also simple.
Cons
I wish that locating every completed job on my list was easier. Sometimes, when searching for a specific document, I had to click through almost every single one until finding the desired one.

“JDE its the key
Pros
This software is stable, fast and very well-structured. It can seamlessly integrate with other tools, and its popularity among large companies is no coincidence. It allows for multitasking and can be suitable to almost any business.

“JDE will make your AP process smoother than ever
Pros
When creating a new vendor, all the necessary information is already in the system, so there's no need to worry about remembering payment terms or checking bank account details. Simply verify that the invoice in the system has been processed correctly. Once the payment is initiated, you'll receive all the relevant information regarding payment dates. Additionally, you have the flexibility to change the Net Due Date for early payments or easily correct payment errors by creating a PD or cancellation document and generating a new one with the correct vendor information and adjusted items. Clearings can then be performed to ensure accurate bookkeeping.
Cons
One of the major aspects that matter to me is the ability to manage vendor master data. Unfortunately, JDE falls short in this area. If a vendor changes their VAT or banking information, you cannot simply update it in the system. Instead, you have to create a new vendor with the updated information or duplicate the existing one and make the necessary updates. Regrettably, this process takes a considerable amount of time (at least 48 hours), impacting payment processing and causing delays.
