“Retired clunky Excel workbooks”
Pros
We've been able to retire dozens of clunky Excel workbooks thanks to Jedox which has helped us enforce data integrity and set up a more secure budgeting process. I no longer have to create fragile links inside spreadsheets and the platform gives us real-time reporting capabilities. On top of that, it pulled together inception-to-date figures and smoothed out forecasting, creating new efficiencies across teams. Overall our staff have given consistently positive feedback about using Jedox.
Cons
I found the learning curve steeper than I expected at first although it was still something we could manage without too much trouble.

“Adapts to different business models”
Pros
Jedox's adaptability to different business models is impressive. Also its user friendly interface and its capability to process complex calculations across massive datasets is good.
Cons
I believe more comprehensive training on the application would significantly boost our team's proficiency.

“Updated information extremely fast”
Pros
I get updated information extremely fast which really helps me stay on top of things.
Cons
While using it, I found some of the premise structures confusing because the order and the way options are organized vary, with similar choices appearing in different places which makes navigation and setup harder than it should be.

“Customizable and connects to GP”
Pros
Onr thing I really like is how customizable the platform is as I can adjust reports to fit user needs like adding filters, changing dates, switching currencies or picking different companies. Since it connects to our GP system, the setup and data flow were much smoother than other tools I have used.
Cons
We've run into a couple of annoying limitations. Such as you cannot edit or input numbers directly from Excel which would save us a lot of time and sometimes the web interface loads slowly in the browser so certain tasks take longer than I expect when things lag.

“all in one platform”
Pros
Jedox has powerful planning and write-back tools, thanks to its fast data structure. Plus it handles complex modeling well with ETL flows, rules and flexible reports. Also it is easy to set up and connect to other apps and databases. I even find it user friendly and a great all in one reporting platform.
Cons
From my perspective, the reporting features could use more built-in charts and graphing options so I wouldn't have to rely on external libraries like Highcharts. The user interface could also be beefed up to match the visualization strength of tools such as Power BI and Tableau.

Pros
It is easy to use and simple to set up. Plus it lets me build highly customized, custom-built models to represent complex business structures and I also find it pretty easy to integrate with a wide range of other tools.
Cons
So far I am pleased overall. I haven't encountered any issues or downsides in my use of it yet.

“Cut manual forecasting effort”
Pros
We've managed to cut down the manual effort in our forecasting because of Jedox and I personally appreciate that it's built on an Excel foundation as that familiarity made adoption and implementation much smoother for our team. Before Jedox, forecasting lived in a bunch of different spreadsheets all over the organization and now we finally have a single, central platform for expense forecasting which has made coordination a lot easier. On peak months we have roughly fifty people using Jedox at the same time for about two weeks each month and so far we haven't run into any access problems. When an issue does pop up that I cannot resolve myself, our enablement partner, Frankie Li, has been incredibly helpful and responsive. I have also received strong support from our Customer Success Manager, Courtney Harris, along with guidance from Customer Engagement Director, Bill Glik. We hold monthly calls to talk through integration ideas and figure out how to make the most of the platform. Honestly we've only scratched the surface of what Jedox can do but I am excited to dig into more features and keep moving toward greater automation in our processes.
Cons
From my perspective, getting the absolute most out of Jedox requires having someone in-house who will commit to the formal training and become a resident expert because it's not the kind of platform you can easily learn by trial and error or just figure out on your own.

“support is always there”
Pros
I rely on it every day because it lays out the most important information in a simple way that helps me make fast decisions. Through it I can run scenario simulations and carry out routine analyses quickly and with confidence. The support team is always available when I have questions that pop up during daily work, responding promptly and effectively. It also makes shaping and modeling data feel more dynamic and simple so I find it a genuinely easy to use tool.
Cons
For my purposes, Jedox handles current scenario analysis and budget preparation well and I don't have any criticisms to raise.

“expensive for a few”
Pros
Well I can connect it to almost any source system which I find really useful. Because it feels so similar to Excel, I was able to get up to speed on building reports quite quickly. The Integrator is also easy for database developers to pick up and work with.
Cons
Now that it's only offered as a cloud product, I don't have the option to run it on premises. For customers who need only a small number of licenses it ends up feeling too expensive. I also hit performance limits fairly easily and when I need support it often turns into an email ping-pong while different support engineers get involved.

“good but overly complex”
Pros
For me this is a really flexible tool, letting me bring all our data together in one place, with lots of ways to display and organize the information.
Cons
I was partly responsible for developing our finance system in Jedox and I often found that some aspects were overly complex from a developer's perspective which made maintenance and changes harder than I'd expected.
