“Easy to use software”
Pros
The software is really easy to use and very easy to adapt to different workflows.
Cons
In our current work, we haven't encountered any situation that we dislike yet so nothing problematic has come up so far.

“Fits our work well”
Pros
I can get tasks done quickly in a way that fits how we already work. It also lets me create the reports we need without delay. Connecting it to other systems is simple too and overall, the program is easy to use and implement.
Cons
I have noticed the software uses commas to separate thousands in numeric amounts. In my view, using periods as the thousands separator would be more suitable. For instance, numbers should appear like 1.000.000.

“Speeds up analysis work”
Pros
Using the software, I find it very user friendly and it noticeably speeds up my analysis work.
Cons
However I really miss the ability to copy directly from Excel or perform native Jedox-to-sheet copies for entire rows or columns of cells.

“Simple trend analysis”
Pros
We've used it to perform a range of analyses on business performance trends and it's simple to use.
Cons
I am finding it confusing to tell when I should use '!' versus '&' or '#' which causes some frustration.

“Helps with budgets”
Pros
From our experience, Jedox has been a major help with preparing budgets, comparing budgets to actuals and running variance analyses. I am seeing that end users genuinely like it and want to keep using it. Although some people find the move away from Excel to Jedox challenging at first, after they start working with it and see the controls it offers, I have noticed they become more motivated to adopt and use it regularly.
Cons
I think adding the ability to attach comments to individual cells would be really useful because it would guide end users on exactly what to enter. From my perspective, introducing and improving a cell-level comment feature would make the system much clearer and easier for people to key in the correct information.

“Simplifies global operations management”
Pros
This is a really good accounting tool.. simple and easy to use right out of the gate. What impresses me most is how it makes managing operations across the globe feel effortless with no unnecessary complications. It handles the complexity behind the scenes so I don't have to.
Cons
Yes there is room for improvement but there is nothing major for me to complaint to about.

“Scalable platform”
Pros
I am impressed by the scalable model and how well it interoperates with different platforms.
Cons
I have run into occasions where the system hangs or freezes. the graphical capabilities feel limited and the developer version-management framework needs work.

“Easy connections”
Pros
Connecting other source systems to Jedox is pretty easy. Plus the Excel-style reporting makes it easy to pick up building my own reports quickly and be less reliant on others. The planning capabilities are distinctive too.
Cons
I sometimes run into performance slowdowns when many users use the paste-view feature to extend lots of rows and I find that slow, unclear communication with Jedox Support drags out resolving the issue.

“Great connectors, cloud support is slow”
Pros
It to is excellent data integration solution. it offers a wide range of connectors for ERP and CRM systems and lets me do a lot without writing any code. I also appreciate the frequent updates that bring new features and improvements.
Cons
From my experience the platform can be a bit buggy at times so I wish new features were vetted more carefully. overall performance isn't always great and dealing with cloud support through email or the support portal often eats up a lot of time. A brief call or quick meetings would have been more effective in many cases.

“Comments carry across versions”
Pros
My fav part is that I really like the comments area as entering notes and watching them carry across the different versions is excellent. We're still in the early phases of rolling this out but so far the platform seems to offer the capabilities I was looking for.
Cons
At this point I cannot think of any negatives though I am reiterating that we're still in the initial implementation phase.

“One platform, better collaboration”
Pros
It consolidates all data into one platform. I find it helps foster better collaboration across different departments. I can assign and separate user permissions as required. There's also the flexibility to create tables and lock formulas when necessary.
Cons
For me it's painfully slow and the scrolling doesn't work properly. The user interface urgently needs an update and the mobile app or mobile view feels extremely basic.

“Budgeting in Jedox - CZ&SK”
Pros
I really appreciate how Jedox connects to our accounting system iScala. This allows me to see budget data and actuals simultaneously. Moreover, I like using the "XLSX Snapshot" in all sheets. Finally, this tool helps me connect data from the Czech Republic and Slovakia, as we report them together.
Cons
As a Financial Controller, I find this system beneficial, despite encountering some initial issues with formulas that were later corrected. However, my colleagues who handle budget creation didn't find it as satisfying. They faced challenges with pasting data from Excel using "Ctrl + V" and understanding how "#" functions, leading to accidental data overwrites. Proper training for your team would be advisable.

“Jedox”
Pros
Integrating with current systems was quite easy. It saves me a lot of time compared to budgeting in Excel, which I used to do previously (automated input of actuals, automated links between different sub-reports...).
Cons
Data input is somewhat challenging compared to Excel, which we primarily use. This limitation requires us to seek external help for certain tasks.

“Fantastic BI Tool”
Pros
Jedox requires little to no training, and I was able to use it in no time when we implemented it. This is partly due to the fact that they have built out the methods for extracting and mapping data in a way that is intuitive for everyone. We hired a Jedox consultant to come out and design our reporting cube because we had never used Jedox or any OLAP software before. However, I later realized that a consultant was never needed in our case. Anyway, they did such an outstanding job explaining how everything worked that I was able to build much of what we required myself with their help.
Cons
Some functions documentation is insufficient; it provides a brief explanation of what the function does but not how it accomplishes it or what you must do to make it work. The report-building tool is powerful in its resemblance to Excel, but it has significant limits and performance concerns under certain conditions.

“Feedback”
Pros
I can get specific financial data using different filters and sort them as well. Using the add-in gives me the opportunity to get financials for specific components. The ability to build different hierarchies, measures, product sets, etc., is a big advantage.
Cons
It is not very intuitive and can be confusing due to its numerous specific features that aren't easily learned without guidance. Moreover, it's quite expensive considering the monthly errors that occur.

“works a bit slow”
Pros
I like being able to automate many of our processes
Cons
It's somewhat slow and I cannot copy data from Excel in the usual quick way. inserting comments is not easy too as I need a commenting system like Excel's. The development workflow is also hard and very time-consuming and it takes too long to get features to function.
