This Billing & Accounting system is extremely easy, not overly complex, and very streamlined. Transitioning to this software is effortless, and it offers a wide range of integration choices.

Cons

As user numbers grow, this software might become pricey and tends to lag when multiple users are on it simultaneously.

“Kashoo - The worst accounting software, 6 years running.

Pros

It's very user-friendly. Anyone can easily operate the program. However, reconciling bank statements can be finicky and slow. There are superior programs available, so it's not worth spending time on this one.

Cons

I've used Kashoo cloud accounting for over six years. Unfortunately, its data bank feeds have often failed, resulting in duplicate bank entries, up to four entries for a single transaction. This issue is incredibly frustrating and time-consuming to resolve manually. Despite reaching out to Kashoo's support team, they were unable to fix the problem or provide a clear explanation for its occurrence. After experiencing this problem four times in six years, I've happily switched to Zoho, which offers a faster and more reliable experience without duplicates.

“Kashoo simplifies project, payroll, and cashflow administration

Pros

The feature I liked best was the ability to swiftly reconcile my bank accounts. Kashoo also offers auto-import for various transactions. This app has everything necessary for managing a small company or side business. It met all the requirements for our limited business accounts, according to my accountant.

Cons

To enhance user experience, this program needs updates, especially better on-app tutorials. It currently doesn't support VAT, which makes it unsuitable for UK VAT-registered users. It does allow CSV uploads from select UK bank accounts.

Managing project expenses, payroll costs, and cash flow with Kashoo is smooth and uncomplicated.

Implementing invoicing and tax systems for countries outside the US is not very intuitive.

Pros

It's dependable, stable, and functions well with my older web browser! Unlike many other web apps that constantly change and require frequent browser updates and maintenance, Kashoo is refreshingly consistent. I particularly appreciate its overall simplicity; everything is visible from the main page, and the user interface is not overly complex or cluttered. The "back" buttons are particularly useful, as browser back buttons often lose context or become confused. While I typically use traditional accounting methods like double-entry and T-accounts, I found that everything I needed was available, sometimes under different names or within different menus. Once I became familiar with its layout, I found myself quite productive within the system.

Cons

Not a drawback, but a feature request: I would appreciate having an inventory system or parts database available as an option. The ability to track part numbers and costs, similar to a system I've used before, would be ideal for managing inventory and cost of goods sold efficiently.

I found the rapid bank reconciliation feature particularly beneficial, as it eliminates concerns about transaction flows. Also, Kashoo offers auto-import for all transaction types.

This application could benefit from upgrades, particularly in-app instructions to improve usability.

It's easy with a well-designed user interface and includes all the essentials for managing a smaller business or side project. My accountant found everything she needed for our limited company accounts.

Lack of VAT calculation makes this software impractical for UK VAT registration. While it supports CSV uploads from a few UK bank accounts, it has limitations in this area.

Kashoo is inexpensive, but unfortunately, that's about all it has going for it. It doesn't meet my expectations otherwise.

Its invoicing and general ledger functions are well-executed and functional. Similar to other packages, Kashoo is exclusively available as an online accounting solution, which allows for flexible, anytime, anywhere access.

Cons

Two critical features missing are accounts payable and the ability to create estimates, which are essential for small service businesses. A budget feature is also notably absent.

Pros

I like their customer support and the fact that it operates in the cloud. The pricing is excellent, and setting up a Chart of Accounts is easy. Importing transactions from my bank and credit cards is also effortless.

Cons

One limitation is the inability to create import rules or categorize transactions automatically, unlike in Quicken.

Over the past two years of using this software, it has significantly helped me manage cash flow, expenses, invoices, salaries, and more with limited staff, just one employee handling everything.

Right from the start, deploying this software was smooth and intuitive. Learning to use it required minimal effort and was smooth and flexible.

Pros

Tax management, real-time bank feeds, bank reconciliation, and project budgeting are some of the features I love about Kashoo. The availability of web and mobile apps is a bonus, and the fact that it supports Spanish language adds to its appeal. Plus, the support is super fast.

Cons

While there are not many drawbacks, I do hope for more integrations, especially with invoicing software like Fiskl.

I got a great deal on this software after searching for a new accounting solution for a while. I particularly like the bank syncing, which is standard across most software, and the ability to add users with restricted access (like bookkeepers and accountants).

One challenge is the dominance of Quickbooks in the market, making it easier to find professionals familiar with it than with Kashoo. However, once past this hurdle, Kashoo performs well.

After hearing rave reviews about Kashoo and its comprehensive yet user-friendly accounting features, I was thrilled to snag a heavily discounted subscription through App Sumo a few months ago. I was especially looking forward to integrating multiple company bank accounts and our daily Square POS credit card sales into a single application. The Square integration has been flawless, with no issues accessing Square data through Kashoo. The iPhone app, though basic in design, is surprisingly efficient and quick, something I didn't expect from most accounting apps, given their typical data and memory requirements.

Cons

Connecting and accessing bank accounts has been problematic since day one. Despite trying various browsers and adjusting security settings, I've struggled to get Kashoo to work correctly with my PNC accounts, especially with multiple transactions or secondary trust accounts involved.
