Seeing my expenses in the program is very simple and the way everything is categorized makes it simple to keep track of spending.
Cons
The invoice image handling is really poor and it becomes even more problematic when an invoice is saved in a currency that doesn't match the statement.

It handles expense reporting well and gets the job done when it comes to submitting and managing reports.
Cons
There are definitely some rough edges. It can be pretty buggy and I ran into problems sorting photos from the iOS library that only got fixed much later. It also felt behind the curve when it came to adding Uber integration.

Our company has a fairly unique approval and reimbursement process for purchases and Nexonia Expenses was willing to adjust the platform to fit the way we work. We've been using it for close to two years and the move from a mostly paper-based expense process to a digital system has gone very well.
Cons
I really haven't run into any major drawbacks. The one thing I do wish it had is a recurring expense option. Every time I start a new expense report, I still have to complete several drop-down fields that never change, like the budget name and approver. As far as I can tell, there isn't an official way to avoid that repetitive step so I keep a mock report on my dashboard and duplicate it whenever I need to submit a new one.
