“Modular setup backed by excellent support

The modular setup and their customer support is excellent whenever I run into problems.

Cons

For me the appearance of views and forms is quite limited and doesn't offer much in the way of customization.

Personally I appreciate Odoo's flexibility, its ability to adapt and constant evolution. I find the development pace impressively fast and valuable but I think the documentation for each new version could use clearer, more thorough updates to keep up.

Cons

When working with large datasets, I notice significant performance hits especially in certain reports that become very slow and heavy to process.

For now I am testing the platform right now and it definitely delivers the services I was hoping for. For now it's performing well and gives me confidence about using it going forward.

As a user, I'd like to see plans that include an additional employee or user because that would be especially useful for freelancers and small businesses.

After paying them, I experienced nothing but silence as they only seem interested once the payment clears and then they ignore emails and phone calls. Honestly the salesperson was awful and I cannot recommend them at all.

I found the support and service to be extremely poor. it felt like they only cared about collecting money and nothing else.

Some services are behind a paywall and I personally think several of those should be part of the standard package.

The software is very user-friendly, well-suited for KMUs small and medium-sized businesses and the support is consistently helpful.

Although some modules feel overly complicated to me, the rest of the system seems almost perfect.

What I like most is the modern, easy to navigate design. Overall it's genuinely user-friendly. The whole system is user friendly and simple to operate. Since it's open-source, I find Odoo highly adaptable for tailoring apps to our company's specific requirements. It ties together every part of the business smoothly which makes handling processes from accounting and sales through inventory and marketing much more manageable.

Cons

In my experience getting Odoo up and tailored can eat up a lot of time and usually needs technical know-how or outside expert support. I have also run into situations where upgrading to a newer version meant that our previous customizations were incompatible which forced extra work to revise integrations or modules. Apart from those hassles, everything else has been fine.

Even though I am using the standard Online edition, I appreciate that Odoo is highly configurable. I also value that it can be hooked into other systems across our company through the Web API which makes it very extensible. On top of that, the internal data models suit my services business perfectly, in particular the timesheet entries that get translated into costs in analytic accounting, a important capability that helps me determine whether a project is actually profitable.

Cons

The out-of-the-box reports feel like they could use more refinement or easier customization although it may simply be that I haven't dug deep enough into how to tailor them.

I really love that Odoo handles all the checkout calculations for me and I can pull reports instantly whenever I need them.

Sometimes it's difficult for me to locate specific settings when I want to change them.

I am really impressed by how responsive Odoo's Helpdesk is whenever I reach out for support.

One downside for me is that the certificates are only offered in French which feels restrictive.

In my experience the per-user fees are quite high and I couldn't obtain a license for some of my coworkers.

What I appreciate is that the basic plan is free and it lets me do pretty much everything I need without restrictions. it's incredibly flexible.

At first, putting together my menu felt like a steep learning curve and it really took me a long time to work out how everything fits together.

From my experience I consider Odoo to be the most capable ERP platform because I appreciate its exceptional flexibility, the smooth integration across modules and the amazing features that help me manage virtually every facet of our business operations.

I have noticed a handful of small glitches within the system yet despite these annoyances, I still find the platform to be dependable and highly effective overall.

For me it has everything and there are almost no limits to what I can do.

There's very little available in Spanish and not much Spanish-language training and I am limited by the few user options.

It offers a wide range of features and many useful apps.

For me the flexibility around quote texts is limited product descriptions lack HTML formatting options. Also the multi-company setup feels poorly implemented because, for example, new items are automatically created in both companies which causes extra work.
