“Brings Sales And Accounting Together
Pros
Odoo brings sales, invoices, CRM, stock management and accounting together in one place so I can quickly access all the key information and track every customer's journey from initial contact through to receiving payment.
Cons
Setup can take a long time and is hard without support. And some advanced features are not very user friendly and every so often the system works slowly.

“Database access revoked without approval
Pros
The online POS and accounting features were user friendly and the interface was really easy to get around. Plus the software included virtually every feature I needed but it fell short when it came to reliable customer support.
Cons
Unfortunately the database I bought and thought would be under my company's control was set up inside ADG's own account as an Odoo partner. That meant they could delete it and cut off my access without my permission or approval.

“Huge developer pool and affordable pricing
Pros
I really like the huge pool of developers available across many countries, the affordable pricing and how easy it is to integrate both our own and third-party applications. Overall it's highly scalable.
Cons
Honestly it may not be as powerful as SAP but for small to medium-sized businesses or even fairly large ones it's hard to beat especially for the price.

Pros
For our small team it's a true all in one solution that fits perfectly. Also it is easy to manage the various tools and keep workflows in sync. Their customer support has been incredibly helpful too as they actually roll up their sleeves to help set things up and even fix problems themselves. Overall it is a very cost-effective option for us.

Pros
I particularly like how modular it is as I can install only the features I actually need. The interface feels clean and modern too and the way the modules integrate together is smooth.
Cons
At first getting to understand the system was a little tricky because of how many features are available. So I had to invest extra time to learn some of the more advanced modules properly.

Pros
What I like most about Odoo is that it's both powerful and easy to use at the same time. It is also affordable, highly flexible and brings everything you need to run a business into one place. Accounting, website building, inventory, HR, task tracking pretty much every tool is available and works together smoothly.

The interface is really easy to navigate and Odoo's support was available when I needed it. I primarily used it for inventory tasks but it clearly has plenty of other features you can take advantage of.

“has a very confusing interface
Pros
Well it seems like a promising idea. As there are so many modules that can make a small company look and run like a much bigger one. But I got tired of paying $65 a month to Intuit and another $700 a year to DocuSign. I mean there has to be a smarter, more affordable option out there.
Cons
I spoke with a salesperson but I couldn't tell what his real goal was as he just seemed to push me toward a paid plan and a five-year contract. He acted like he knew a little about everything but not much about anything and clearly did not understand the accounting features. I mean not even basics like split categorization. I told him I only wanted the free version to test it out and if it worked, I might move my European branch over. After I signed up through the link he sent, I got lost right away. The interface was confusing, I could not figure out simple tasks in accounting and after struggling for a while, I just gave up.

“feels like i paid for incompatible version
Pros
Overall the product itself is great. Also the modules work well together, task flows run smoothly and the cloud system feels reliable. And once it's set up, navigation is easy. I think Odoo has great potential for handling sales, transactions and daily operations.
Cons
Well I had a major problem with customer support and the accountability of sales. Sales convinced me to buy Odoo.sh with written promises of a free migration but only after I paid $1,785.60 did I discover my database version 18.3 was not compatible with SH. That limitation was never revealed before purchase. For more than fifty days I couldn't access the paid service, got bounced around between teams and promised rebates or credits never materialized. Also my escalation attempts to senior management were ignored.

“dishonest from the start
Pros
None as the few usability benefits it seems to have are canceled out because when I first purchased it I received little to almost no information about using the product.
Cons
When I bought it the first time they didn't make it clear that there are actually two different systems. The first one SAS ends up auto-limiting the program's capabilities and pushes whoever buys it to move to the other system SH which of course is much more expensive. And the worst part is that it forces you to start everything from scratch. They also failed to tell me I would have to hire a local company to make the program operational and the cost is completely unreasonable. I requested two quotes and neither was cheaper than the initial purchase price of the software. Those service contracts also have expirations of three to six months and come with additional limitations. If you want a full implementation for only six months, the third-party firm's price can exceed USD 12,000.

Pros
Odoo is very cost-effective compared to paying for Salesforce, NetSuite or QuickBooks, plus a separate e-commerce platform. So to me, it feels like a real bargain. It is also easy to use and I think it's the best option for managing sales.

Cons

Pros
Personally I find Odoo really simple to use when creating and designing websites since there's no need to know how to code. I have also found it excellent for managing sales and handling transactions as it keeps everything organized and easy to track. So if your priority is securing payments, I'd recommend this platform because it exposes every single transaction so you can monitor them closely which helps prevent anyone from siphoning funds or committing fraud.

Pros
To be honest I didn't get anything positive out of this as the whole engagement dragged on with constant delays, communication was poor and technical glitches kept popping up. Even the basic HR module I relied on was riddled with bugs.

Pros
Odoo is pretty easy to set up, use and to manage warehouse orders and inventory items across multiple warehouse locations. Their customer support has been amazing too and is always available to help whenever I need assistance. Compared with other platforms, I think the pricing and overall value are very cost-effective which makes it one of my go-to platforms.

Pros
Overall it is a comprehensive, all-in-one platform that grows well our business needs. Its modular design made it easy to pick and implement only the parts we required from CRM and inventory management to accounting and eCommerce. And because of the development flexibility it provides, our team was even able to create custom apps such as the WooCommerce Connector we published on the Prefortune store which works the best for real-time syncing.
Cons

“modular, scalable, cost-effective
Pros
As a small business owner, I love that it's modular and scalable as I could start small and grow with it. The interface looks modern and is easy to use which helped since I am not very technical. Almost every screen, workflow and rule can be customized to fit our needs. Sales, purchases, inventory, CRM, POS and accounting are all in one platform. It is also cost-effective compared to SAP, Oracle or Dynamics and there is great community support with open-source flexibility.
Cons
I have found POS customization isn't beginner-friendly as its heavy JavaScript-based architecture makes tweaks tough unless you can code. It also doesn't come with ready-made vertical modules for certain industries, like automobile service centers or real estate so you may need to build those. Native direct printing from POS is absent and usually means relying on third-party tools or an IoT box. Some of the more advanced capabilities are locked behind the Enterprise edition which can be too pricey for microbusinesses.

I am really fond of Odoo. its interface feels very smooth and simple. It packs helpful features and is easy to use which makes daily tasks quicker. Cons
Getting started wasn't the easiest for me but after a bit of practice I found that things become much smoother. “Unifies essential business areas
Pros
Odoo is great to unify essential business areas like sales, inventory, purchasing, accounting, CRM and manufacturing into a single platform. That cuts reliance on separate systems and simplifies our operations.
Cons
One of my main frustrations is that it organizes messages by object like a sales order, invoice or a particular contact. Because of that, I struggle to pull together a full history of interactions with a customer in a single spot. When several team members work with the same customer, this blind spot hampers teamwork and can lead to unexpected interruptions in service.

“Sales rep was dismissive
Pros
The product lists an extensive set of powerful features and it's backed by a company with longevity. They position themselves as a single source solution that can bring together and manage every part of your business operations.
Cons
My trial was overshadowed by what I can only describe as shocking arrogance on their part. After I signed up I got a call from an account representative checking in and when I started pointing out problems with my initial experience mainly that the documentation was completely out of date and Support actually had to send me a completely different workflow just so I could perform the basic task of connecting bank accounts as his reaction was dismissive. He casually admitted that their docs are often out of date and brushed it off like it was no big deal, then abruptly hung up on me while I was still talking. “Open-source, pick needed modules
Pros
I have been using this open-source ERP and I like that it brings a wide variety of applications together under one roof such as HR, CRM, sales and more. The freedom to choose exactly which apps to enable means my organization can pick modules that fit our needs instead of being boxed in. They even let you start with one free app from the selection which helped my team experiment without commitment. For small and medium businesses and startups like ours, it's a practical alternative to building an in-house IT ERP environment with heavy capex. I also find the platform highly customizable and the clean, user friendly UI makes navigation easy.
Cons
In my experience costs can climb quickly if you add several applications or increase the number of users so budgeting becomes important. I have noticed the depth of features isn't consistent across all modules. As some feel very mature while others are lighter. Also, you need technical know-how for deeper customizations and to handle upgrades properly which means we had to bring in expertise for more advanced work.

Pros
There is nothing redeeming here. It feels like a complete waste of my time and energy. There are countless bugs and problems and nobody takes ownership. I'll end up raising tickets for trivial things and end up abandoning my main work to set up and troubleshoot Odoo issues.
Cons

Pros
Honestly Odoo turned out to be far more complicated than I expected. I feel like I was led into purchasing it and when I realized it wasn't the fit my business needed I asked for a refund because I was told I had to commit to a whole year instead of being able to pay month-to-month. They declined. I have poured hours into learning the system and after several months I still haven't been able to get my website live. This has been incredibly frustrating and a big waste of my time.

Pros
It connected the sales and stock modules so that whenever a sale was made a delivery order was automatically created and I could trace products directly within the warehouse. Having this link really helped me focus on processing orders faster and keeping a better check on overall inventory health and levels.
Cons
While tracking returns I noticed the delivery status updates in the backend often didn't give enough detail. Pros
From my perspective the Odoo project module has been extremely helpful for monitoring both internal tasks and client assignments. I found that because it ties into sales and invoicing, it gives me a complete end-to-end picture of client interactions from quotation through delivery and finally invoicing so I can follow the whole process without gaps.
Cons
I ran into real trouble trying to set accurate expected durations for each task in projects estimating how long something should take was difficult. Pros
Odoo really nails the integration between manufacturing and accounting. It made it easy for me to follow raw material costs and production yields and I could trace everything straight through to up-to-the-minute financial reports. Because of that transparency, I gained a much clearer sense of where a production run became profitable and how margins behaved across each batch and run.

the software provides a completely free app and if I want additional features I have to pay for a subscription plan.
Cons
It doesn't let me tailor certain customizations for particular contexts.

“slow support and full of bugs
Pros
It is very easy to access for non-coders but that is the only good thing about it.
Cons
To me it feels like a stripped-down WordPress with hardly any better usability. I used to pay from the 20th to the 20th but overnight they decided to switch my billing to the 1st which made the billing period from the 20th to the 1st count as a full month. I have filed several complaints about this and they offered no resolution. On top of that, when I pay on the 20th they sometimes suspend the site several days earlier in the month and then bill me extra fees, claiming I failed to pay on time. Everyone I talk to agrees that's unfair yet support just tells me that's how it is and offers no alternatives. Their customer service takes several days to reply and the technical team closes bug tickets without fixing anything or reaching out. Bottom line, if you want a reliable site I would go elsewhere there are much better and cheaper options.

“Incredibly flexible and reasonable pricing
Pros
I have been really impressed with Odoo as it's incredibly flexible and you can tailor it a lot and I think the pricing is reasonable. It hooks up smoothly with other systems, is easy to navigate and thanks to its great features it processes tasks quickly. The service is top-notch something you really shouldn't overlook.
Cons
What I appreciate is that Odoo provides a free version, at least that's something I value and want to acknowledge.

“Invoices and inventory in one spot
Pros
Being able to manage invoices and inventory in one spot has removed so much hassle as I recently processed several orders smoothly without having to switch between multiple apps.
Cons
I find that some capabilities are tucked away in deep menus so everyday tasks end up taking more time than I'd expect.
