“easy setup with enhanced community modules

Pros

Setting it up is fairly easy and there are many community-built modules packed with enhanced features.

Cons

My complaint is that a bunch of handy modules are locked behind enterprise-only features which can be frustrating.

I was able to grasp the problem instantly and apply a rapid fix to the production issue.

Nothing to report. Honestly I don't like being forced to answer this it feels unnecessary.

For me it's a complete package and easy to use software apps.

I have noticed that there are several fields you cannot delete or reset, for example the invoice numbering and that makes correcting mistakes pretty difficult when we accidentally enter something wrong.

It is pretty easy to navigate and I only activate the apps I actually need.

Cons

With some reports like foreign currency gain/loss I noticed duplicate entries appearing after I post them under Management > Unrealised Currency Gain/Loss.

The backend is very clear, the system quite flexible and their support outstanding.

I'd like to see additional CRM features and greater flexibility within the CRM module.

I find the installation frustrating getting Odoo installed on my computer always turns out to be quite difficult.

Honestly I don't know what to fault everything suits me and I received an answer for every issue I raised.

At first, I found the interface and getting started a bit complicated but over time it became much easier to use.

Using Odoo, I was able to create a full website and learn how I could organize the different parts of my company which made the setup feel simple and practical.

I ran into errors that I couldn't spot easily and fixing them was quite difficult. although I think Odoo is a very capable ERP, it sometimes throws up puzzling, hard-to-understand faults.

I have discovered it offers an enormous set of features and supports a wide variety of business functions, with everything tied together and nicely integrated

Cons

For my experience the interface can feel a bit complex at times, largely because of the jargon and I feel the cost is on the steep side for small to mid-sized companies

I really value the broad selection of tools the platform offers and how easy it is to navigate and use each feature without hassle

Although the support team is very helpful once they finally reply, their turnaround time can be frustratingly slow. To give you an example. two Wednesdays ago I submitted a ticket for an issue that required direct assistance from support. I didn't hear anything back until the next Monday and that only happened after I messaged an account executive on WhatsApp. That person located my ticket and was able to partially fix things via email. I kept emailing to try to get the remaining problems sorted but then I stopped getting replies. Because I needed progress, I opened a second ticket and only by the following Monday was everything fully resolved. The executives I dealt with were consistently polite and did fix the problem but overall response times need to improve even a quick acknowledgement when a ticket is received would make a big difference.

What I really appreciate is their support service which provides personalized tutorials that use real-life scenarios drawn from our own website.

Cons

On our site, I cannot self-host videos directly. instead, I am forced to host them through YouTube which is limiting.

I find it to be modular software that can do pretty much anything I can imagine, offering interchangeable modules I can combine to handle all kinds of tasks.

For me the learning curve is slow and expensive especially as someone who is just getting started and needs time and resources to get comfortable with it.

Pros

Its simplicity and elegance is amazing. It's ready out of the box yet I can see an enterprise using it to manage its backbone processes while improving the business bottom line. Consultants can offer it as part of the company or freelance.

Cons

For me its ability to centralize a knowledge base feels limited. it's not that Odoo's support is poor they are genuinely responsive but I would really appreciate having a knowledge AI in addition to the existing documentation and e-learning platform.

Pros

For my small business I found that Odoo packs in pretty much everything I need, with dedicated apps tailored to different tasks and use cases. It's simple to navigate and I get really clear reporting out of it. I also like that I can export data to Excel which lets me tinker with the figures. Whenever issues pop up, Odoo's support or fixes are incredibly fast and get things back on track quickly.

Cons

At first the layout felt a little dull to me although version 17 brings a fresher, more colorful and modern look overall.

Pros

I really like how easy the system is to use. The interface is very user friendly too as anyone can learn it quickly without much training. I also find the pricing budget-friendly.

Cons

While development work can become expensive, I don't think that is necessarily a negative. however, I have noticed that for smaller businesses with complicated workflows, it may fail to provide an ideal fit.

Pros

There's a free tier for a single product and the overall pricing is very affordable. There's a wide selection of apps and I especially enjoy the website builder. On top of that, I have found the support team to be very helpful.

Cons

For me I had a frustrating experience with Odoo's Invoicing it wasn't obvious how to add a bank account to the system and that lack of clarity caused delays.

I received excellent help from their support team on our email marketing problems.

We spent far too long before realizing that an Odoo code update two weeks earlier had caused our problems.
