“Not ready for Chile despite claims
Pros
Odoo is packed with a lot of features and modules into a true all-in-one platform and I appreciate that the pricing is affordable.
Cons
In my experience it's not actually ready for use in Chile despite being sold that way it doesn't integrate properly with the SII, invoices and delivery notes don't appear as they should under the Chilean system, you cannot issue bills through the system and the HR module also isn't ready yet.

“Sales and stock connected automatically
Pros
It connected the sales and stock modules so that whenever a sale was made a delivery order was automatically created and I could trace products directly within the warehouse. Having this link really helped me focus on processing orders faster and keeping a better check on overall inventory health and levels.
Cons
While tracking returns I noticed the delivery status updates in the backend often didn't give enough detail. Occasionally the system failed to flag the returns whether partial or complete which created gaps in our company's stock-status report and forced me to spend extra time reconciling inventory discrepancies.

“Totally modular, we pick whatever is needed
Pros
It's totally modular so I can put together anything I want or locate whatever module I need to get the job done.
Cons
Sometimes I find it overkill and unnecessarily complicated when I am trying to do something simple.

“Ties sales to project tracking
Pros
From my perspective the Odoo project module has been extremely helpful for monitoring both internal tasks and client assignments. I found that because it ties into sales and invoicing, it gives me a complete end-to-end picture of client interactions from quotation through delivery and finally invoicing so I can follow the whole process without gaps.
Cons
I ran into real trouble trying to set accurate expected durations for each task in projects estimating how long something should take was difficult. The logged time didn't match what appeared on invoices which meant hourly billing wasn't as simple as I assumed and I had to make manual corrections to get billing right.

“Integrates manufacturing with accounting
Pros
Odoo really nails the integration between manufacturing and accounting. It made it easy for me to follow raw material costs and production yields and I could trace everything straight through to up-to-the-minute financial reports. Because of that transparency, I gained a much clearer sense of where a production run became profitable and how margins behaved across each batch and run.
Cons
For me handling many SKUs in varying quantities sometimes caused delays in backorder updates and the live status dashboard. That occasional latency produced inconsistencies with reorder notifications so I often had to fix reorder levels manually based on what stock was actually on hand.

“slow support and full of bugs
Pros
It is very easy to access for non-coders but that is the only good thing about it.
Cons
To me it feels like a stripped-down WordPress with hardly any better usability. I used to pay from the 20th to the 20th but overnight they decided to switch my billing to the 1st which made the billing period from the 20th to the 1st count as a full month. I have filed several complaints about this and they offered no resolution. On top of that, when I pay on the 20th they sometimes suspend the site several days earlier in the month and then bill me extra fees, claiming I failed to pay on time. Everyone I talk to agrees that's unfair yet support just tells me that's how it is and offers no alternatives. Their customer service takes several days to reply and the technical team closes bug tickets without fixing anything or reaching out. Bottom line, if you want a reliable site I would go elsewhere there are much better and cheaper options.

“Incredibly flexible and reasonable pricing
Pros
I have been really impressed with Odoo as it's incredibly flexible and you can tailor it a lot and I think the pricing is reasonable. It hooks up smoothly with other systems, is easy to navigate and thanks to its great features it processes tasks quickly. The service is top-notch something you really shouldn't overlook.
Cons
What I appreciate is that Odoo provides a free version, at least that's something I value and want to acknowledge.

“Invoices and inventory in one spot
Pros
Being able to manage invoices and inventory in one spot has removed so much hassle as I recently processed several orders smoothly without having to switch between multiple apps.
Cons
I find that some capabilities are tucked away in deep menus so everyday tasks end up taking more time than I'd expect.

“Strong security, powerful automation
Pros
Odoo provides exceptionally strong security measures which make it easy for us to keep all our information safe and protected. It delivers powerful task automation tools that have helped us simplify our everyday workflows by automating recurring tasks. We have found a very dependable customer support team too who are consistently committed to helping us whenever we contact them. The platform's sophisticated learning management system features an easy-to-use interface that enables us to offer e-learning services to our students.
Cons
Odoo has consistently met our needs and reacted well in every situation. We haven't come across any feature we dislike about it.

“Covers core needs but add-ons get pricey
Pros
I have found Odoo covers CRM, sales and accounting, helping me simplify and organize our operations. It's easy to set up and it includes all the core features I would expect.
Cons
Personally I have noticed it can become pricey quickly as many capabilities are only available as add-ons you have to buy individually. The integrated development environment feels outdated to me and some functions are pretty rudimentary.

“migration cost fortune
Pros
To be frank, there isn't much I can praise. I found the platform passable if I am starting completely fresh but when I attempted to migrate into Odoo from an existing system the whole process became unbelievably complicated and I consider the import functionality to be very subpar.
Cons
They promised a lot but when I tried to migrate from another platform it ended up costing me a fortune, taking far longer than expected and being an utter waste of time.

“User-friendly, cost-effective, customizable
Pros
We went with Odoo because it's user friendly and cost-effective which made it an easy choice for us. For our CRM and accounting requirements, Odoo has become the go-to platform. New hires pick it up very quickly and since adopting it I have seen tangible improvements. The customization options are extensive, letting us experiment more and with its powerful advanced features, it truly performs at its core
Cons
I don't really have any major complaints I prefer to focus on the positives here.

“modern interface, affordable open-source
Pros
I really like the modern interface and the open-source edition gives businesses like mine an affordable option if we want to customize our management tools.
Cons
For me the open-source release demands technical know-how or a developer's assistance to make full use of its capabilities.

“Couldn't access it but got charged anyway
Pros
They painted an appealing picture when selling their service yet in my experience they failed to deliver on what was actually promoted.
Cons
The company tried to upsell me a $3,500 package where they'd supposedly guide me through everything and they also push a monthly subscription for about $46 and change. When I asked the person who was assigned to my account to help me get comfortable with the platform, they told me that helping with navigation wasn't part of their job even though earlier they had said to contact them for help getting around the system. After that I called customer support to see how they could assist and one rep that was supposed to walk me through things, only for the same person to insist it wasn't their responsibility. I even hired a professional outside the company to try to help but they couldn't access the program either because the apps weren't working at all so it felt like the tools were just there for show. To make matters worse, I was charged for a second month despite never being able to use the program since their message claimed nothing was wrong yet from my side it clearly was. Calling back didn't help one support agent said they couldn't assist without talking to another team member and when I spoke with someone else they basically pointed out they work with fortune $5 million companies which didn't resolve anything for me. What mattered was my experience as the platform was inaccessible to my business and they refused to take responsibility. Instead of offering solutions or a refund they gave a half-hearted apology and kept saying everything looked fine on their end while my portal remained unusable. Overall the customer service was terrible, the reps seemed uninformed and they consistently deflected blame onto me instead of owning the problem it felt misleading and left me without proper support or recourse.

“All-in-one tool but unreliable customization
Pros
Well it covers virtually every business requirement as one of the leading all-in-one platforms it brings together accounting, invoicing and CRM so I can use them all from a single interface.
Cons
That said I have noticed some features don't always behave reliably when I try to customize them.

“modern all-in-one, highly modular
Pros
It is an all in one suite of applications for running a business that includes CRM, accounting, inventory management, e-commerce, HR and several other modules. The interface feels modern and user friendly and I really appreciate the high degree of modularity that lets me adapt and tailor the available features to our specific needs.
Cons
For me the main issue with the freemium model is that it nudges you toward taking a paid subscription without that, a number of useful features simply aren't available.
