“Quick website building with stellar performance

Pros

Odoo makes building and designing websites quick and the sites I publish with it consistently perform well. Its interface is very user-friendly so anyone can comfortably use Odoo to put together a site. I also find that it offers one of the best Q&A platforms.

Cons

I haven't run into any problems with Odoo. it operates smoothly and I haven't encountered any issues at all.

I really like the huge range of customization options especially in the open source edition. It isn't always super simple to set up every feature but because I can code and tailor things myself, I can make almost anything work.

Some of the integrations aren't simple and I often have to do a lot of digging and research to get them working.

The system is cloud-based which means I can access it from anywhere where there's an internet connection. The platform is very large in scope and offers a high level of potential that I, as a business, can make the most of.

It offers a wide range of products and strong functionality. Also it's very easy to use, with a near-perfect interface and Studio. I can customize and configure the payroll system and I can tailor financial reports to suit our needs, among other useful features.

In my experience the attendants module lacks integration with fingerprint machines. it doesn't calculate delays and I cannot set up the rules for discipline and penalty systems.

it would be great if there were a way to shift lines up and down when I am entering journal transactions and it would be great if I could navigate between lines and fields using the arrow keys instead of having to click each one.

Odoo is an amazing system that offer wide range of customization options, the speed is good too and is user-friendly. Plus the helpfulness of both customer service and technical support is simply the best.

For me the purchasing module forces delivery dates to follow a working-week calendar that accounts for holidays rather than treating time as a simple 7-days-a-week schedule which can lead to a delivery being scheduled on a Sunday or even during Christmas. I also find Studio could be more user-friendly. Version 18 has finally addressed a long-standing issue with shipping methods where you couldn't make them product-specific which was much overdue.

What I appreciate most is the modular design as it makes the system so clear and simple for developers to tailor apps and that flexibility is a major factor behind its success.

As a developer, I have found there's really nothing major to complain about. every platform has a learning curve and in my experience Odoo hasn't been the easiest to pick up but it also isn't the hardest to learn.

I find it frustrating that whenever we implement new development, it often causes hidden bugs to appear in other parts of the system that had been running smoothly before.

I have only tried the accounting app but from my experience it's the best tool and fits my needs.

For me the accounting dashboard should be easier for users to customize it needs simpler, more flexible personalization options.

In my experience the different Odoo apps integrate very smoothly so they're highly efficient together. I could begin with a small setup and expand at my own pace. Strong product management consistently delivers updates with valuable new features and the system is very flexible.

When I attempted to install and configure Odoo on my own without involving a partner, I found I had to devote a significant amount of time to learn and navigate its extensive feature set. The actual effort required tended to be considerably higher than I initially expected, often exceeding my original time estimates.

Honestly it's a really user-friendly and simple system to operate. For our company which only has a handful of people, this has turned out to be the ideal solution. We can present proposals to clients with much more transparency and significantly reduce response times. On the administrative side, I find it to be an excellent tool that helps us understand the company's overall status and simplifies many day-to-day tasks.

Cons

Although the online training for operating the system is excellent, nothing truly replaces being face-to-face with an analyst. I would really value having in-person sessions available, as that hands-on interaction would be a very worthwhile addition.
