Best Pre-Authorized Billing Software
Pros

Using the pre-authorized system to set up payments for my clients is incredibly simple and convenient. I really appreciate the efficient filters, which allow me to easily search through and review all past payment history. This feature makes managing payments much more straightforward and less time-consuming for me.

Cons

I find it a bit cumbersome that I can't process credit card refunds without going through customer service. It's a minor inconvenience, but not a major issue.

Contact integration between Xero and Plooto is currently ineffective
Pros

The interfaces are neat, and the software's functionality is robust.

Cons

The contact integration between Xero and Plooto is currently ineffective. Both sides blame each other for issues. Contacts synced from Xero to Plooto are automatically labeled as customers, with no option to switch them to suppliers. To fix this, I have to delete the contact and recreate it manually as a supplier, causing delays and workflow disruptions.

Pros

I really appreciate the intuitive interface of the platform. Whether as a lessee or landlord, navigating the system is simple and has simplified managing rental payments. Clear instructions made setup and usage simple for me.

Cons

However, I've noticed a small concern regarding the speed of payment remittance. While Plooto is generally efficient, there have been occasional delays in payments reaching our account. Improving this aspect would enhance the user experience. Also, a shareable tutorial on setting up personal profiles would be helpful for contacts.

Pros

I'm thrilled with the lower processing fees! Switching to Plooto saves me over $100 a month. Once set up, recurring payments are fantastic. Customer service has been good too. Overall, Plooto is a valuable addition to my business, one I wish I had adopted years ago!

Cons

Setting up Plooto was more challenging than I anticipated. Some clients faced difficulties setting up recurring payments and weren't happy about it. Despite having PAD agreements with clients, Plooto doesn't accept them. Consequently, I can't process payments for several clients who've already shared their payment information.

Pros

Pros

This software is incredibly easy to use! Syncing with QBO makes life so much easier.

Pros

Sending payments to suppliers in any quantity is a standout feature of Plooto. We appreciate the approval control, user-friendliness, and affordability. Integration with QBO simplifies reconciliation and automates payments effortlessly.

Useful for smaller businesses wanting to pay vendors
Pros

I really like the ability to pay my vendors without having to worry about the daily limits imposed on e-transfers. This feature provides me with greater flexibility and peace of mind, knowing that I can make necessary payments without any restrictions or delays. It simplifies my financial transactions and ensures that my vendors are paid promptly and efficiently.

Cons

It's frustrating that it takes several days for money to reach my vendors. I also dislike that I can only pay my monthly subscription via direct withdrawal from my bank account, without the option of using a credit card. It feels like they're trying to avoid credit card processing fees, which seems penny-pinching.

Pros

Plooto efficiently automates my accounts payable disbursement function, streamlining the entire process from start to finish. This automation significantly reduces manual effort and ensures that payments are processed accurately and promptly.

Pros

It's a fantastic method for receiving approvals and making payments.

Cons

My experience with Plooto has been frustrating with cheque issues. Some cheques were deposited and cashed but still show as undeposited in Plooto. Others were lost without any means to track them. When I reached out to Plooto's support, they couldn't assist in tracking the cheques, which was very disappointing. Also, finding information on completed transactions is difficult; having more specific search functions for reporting purposes, especially ones that integrate with Excel, would be incredibly helpful.

Pros

Plooto gives me the flexibility to set different levels of approval for payments. It's really straightforward to get paid with, and providers appreciate seeing where the payment is in the various stages of processing. Pros

Cons

It's easy and quick to use, but it's missing a key integration that would make it perfect.
Pros

Plooto integrates with QBO and makes syncing receivables and payables simple. It reconciles payments, saving me a lot of time. Customers and suppliers receive an email about upcoming payments, along with a link to this information and past transactions.

Cons

I've been using Plooto with one client for about a year now and would like to onboard more clients onto this system. However, Plooto doesn't support QBO's projects and sub-customer system, making it difficult to collect receivables accurately for clients with multiple projects or sub-accounts. If Plooto could recognize customer names before the ":" to facilitate collection under various accounts, it would greatly enhance its utility for me.

Plooto review
Pros

Plooto synchronizes with QBO, pulling in all unpaid bills. Paying suppliers is done simply by ticking the unpaid items, particularly if I have set up the supplier in Plooto with their banking information. If not available, an e-transfer can be made, or Plooto will solicit this detail from the supplier for me. Collecting outstanding receivables in QBO also works very nicely, although some clients are suspicious of the solicitation. USD payments and rapid payments are also available if Plooto is prefunded; otherwise, a fee is applied.

Cons

The payment interface between Plooto and QBO wasn't well thought out. Initiating a payment marks it as paid in QBO immediately, even before it's approved by the designated approver. This causes discrepancies in balance sheets and payables listings in QBO, leading to potential errors like double payments when bills are manually reset as unpaid.

Pros

I love how easy it was to set up to receive a payment. It only took a couple of minutes, and I appreciate the confirmation deposit that is made to ensure the funds are going to the right account!

Cons

Establishing Plooto with my bank account presented more complexities than a simple electronic funds transfer. However, navigating through this process guarantees that payments are accurately directed to their intended recipients, a factor that holds significant value in ensuring seamless financial transactions. The initial setup's thoroughness aligns with my commitment to precision and reliability in financial operations, making it a worthwhile investment of time and effort in optimizing payment processes.
