Pros
I find Tallie to be excellent when it comes to reconciling credit card statements. I can set specific rules for each expenditure, and it allows me to attach multiple pictures for lengthy receipts. Overall, it's a user-friendly platform.
Cons
Personally, I find it inconvenient that the rules cannot be customized based on position types. This poses a challenge for companies like ours that have different spending limits for different types of employees. Another drawback of Tallie is that receipts don't automatically match. When there's a 2 to 3 day delay, it's easy to forget to go back and upload a receipt.

Pros
Emburse Tallie mobile app is very helpful for managing receipts and generating expense reports. Having mileage reporting and various receipt options on the main page makes it very convenient.
Cons
I've noticed that the desktop application is less helpful compared to the mobile app, and it's not as intuitive to use.

The ability to directly connect with my bank, import statements and receipts, along with the streamlined process, are the standout features.
Cons
Unfortunately, my bank isn't widely supported for direct connection through the platform. However, the Customer Support team assisted me in finding a solution by guiding me on how to import statements instead.

“Mobile friendly tracking
Pros
The mobile-friendly expense tracking feature is the most appealing. Being able to upload receipts while traveling or during busy conferences and meetings has been a lifesaver.
Cons
Some of the reimbursement processes were a bit cumbersome, but the efficiency of tracking expenses made up for it.

Pros
It eliminates paperwork from our employee reimbursement process and seamlessly integrates with our ERP, QuickBooks Online. Our employees love it, and it has significantly reduced the turnaround time for reimbursing employees.
Cons
The reporting capabilities are somewhat limited, but they don't pose significant restrictions. With 80 employees, this system adequately fulfills all our reimbursement needs.

Cons
With Emburse Tallie I encountered some issues with the free trial repeatedly prompting me to download instead of starting the setup process. Additionally, after signing up on the 28th of the month, I was charged for that month's usage, even though it wouldn't be implemented for another couple of weeks.

Tallie software is highly intuitive and user-friendly. The best features are its integration with personal credit cards and the direct integration with QuickBooks. By combining Tallie, QuickBooks, and Bill.com, we have achieved a completely paperless expense reimbursement process.
Cons
I come across a couple of challenges that led to my 4/5 ratings, but they are not necessarily things I dislike. Firstly, the platform appears relatively new, and there were several initial issues that caused delays in processing reports. However, they were responsive in addressing and resolving these problems. This brings me to my next 4/5 rating, which is for support. Regular support typically takes 2-4 days to respond and resolve issues, which can feel like an eternity when it comes to expense reimbursements. If you opt for premium support, which I highly recommend, they respond within hours. One issue somewhat beyond their control is the credit card sync. It frequently doesn't work or is very slow. I've discussed this with support multiple times, and they rely on third-party solutions. However, they offer additional credit card sync options beyond the default ones displayed, which can be activated when you contact them. Some of these options work better than others, but be prepared for periodic syncing interruptions. While it doesn't prevent report submission, it can be a bit of a hassle during reconciliation with your credit card statement.

“A Great Way to Submit Receipts!
Pros
Instead of filling out forms and making copies of receipts each month, I can simply use my phone to take pictures of my receipts and upload them into Tallie. From there, I can assign them to line items, describe the expenses and submit my expense report.
Cons
Occasionally, the receipt I upload doesn't immediately appear on the website. Typically, it shows a message saying "receipt uploaded," but I need to navigate away from that screen and then return to see the receipt. It's not a major issue since I usually have the receipt or its image right in front of me. I find it slightly challenging to use the mobile version due to the smaller screen size, especially when submitting receipts through the app. The site sometimes takes a bit longer to load. These are all minor concerns.

“Slow Customer Support - Won't Fix Bugs

Tallie handles expense and credit card reports seamlessly between end users, QuickBooks and Bill.com. It performs well most of the time and is very much user-friendly.
Cons
I've grown increasingly frustrated with the development and support teams at Tallie. It has been an absolutely terrible experience. We've been plagued by bugs for years, and they refuse to fix them. Despite reporting the issues through proper channels, they seem indifferent. Some of these bugs are minor graphical glitches that confuse my users, but they show no improvement in their software. As a result of other unresolved bugs, I frequently have to contact them for "back end syncs" to resolve glitches. However, their customer support has become extremely poor. To get them to perform the "back end sync" action, I have to wait at least 24 hours. If I have a support issue requiring back-and-forth communication, each reply takes a minimum of 24 hours. Therefore, simple resolutions can take 3-4 days. I suspect that their lack of investment in development and bug fixes has overwhelmed their support staff. When we initially onboarded them a few years ago, their support was excellent. However, at this point, I can no longer recommend their services.

“Travel for work is so much easier now
Pros
Being able to scan my receipts while traveling means I don't have to hold onto them until I return to the office. I can submit my expense reports promptly instead of waiting until the peak travel season ends.
Cons
When I forward a receipt from email to the system, there are instances where I end up with an extra receipt that includes the basic email content instead of just the attached PDF. Usually, I have to access the web version to correct this, although it doesn't always happen. Thankfully, most tasks can be completed using the phone app.

Pros
Throughout the past few decades, I have tried various expense reporting software platforms, and Tallie is undoubtedly the best one I have come across. As someone who travels frequently and accumulates a pocket full of receipts for both cash expenses and company credit card charges, the simplicity of entering receipts and calculating mileage makes the month-end task of expense reporting incredibly easy. I highly recommend it as the least stressful and complicated software I've used.

“Super Easy to Track Expenses and Reimbursements
Pros
Tracking all of my expenses and reimbursements is very very easy. In no time, I can log all my expenses and have them ready.
Cons
There are no real downsides. The app consistently updates itself and resolves minor issues. Making changes after the fact is also easy.
