a lot of features with excellent support

Pros

I like the wide range of features. Also it is easy to pick up and I can always reach customer support. Overall I consider it an excellent cloud-based solution.

Cons

That said I don't see many real downsides. I do think the cloud platform requires continuous updates since new challenges keep appearing for example the integration and use of AI and machine learning.

Real-time data with community support

Pros

It has a user-friendly interface and a wide range of HR features. Plus the real-time data analytics really help me make decisions and integration is simple. I also find it easy to get help from the Workday community.

Cons

Implementation can be very challenging and requires a lot of training before I can work effectively. The reporting tool feels inflexible and I noticed there's no compiler or query-testing utility bundled with HCM.

5.0

Smooth connections with third-party apps

Pros

I really like how smoothly it connects to our ERP, CRM and various third-party apps so data moves seamlessly between systems. For organizations of all sizes whether I am running a small business or working in a large enterprise it fits the needs well and scales appropriately.

Cons

I think it's overpriced for smaller firms especially once you include the costs for implementation and customization.

3.0

User-friendly with costly complex setup

Pros

The user interface is very user friendly which makes HR tasks easier and the extensive set of tools for core HR, talent management and recruitment helps streamline workflows and boosts overall organizational efficiency.

Cons

What concerns me is that implementing and configuring Workday HCM can be quite complex often demanding a substantial investment of time and resources. I have also found that the required licensing fees for Workday tend to be higher than those for several other HR software options.

Pros

I find the app's interface to be just as smooth on my phone as it is on the web. It's given me better visibility into when my teammates are on leave. Plus I can manage leaves, expenses, payroll and more from a single place.

Cons

Strong tools for team development

Pros

Throughout my career I have worked with Workday in multiple positions and whenever I switch into environments that don't use it the difference is obvious right away. It gives me strong tools to keep tabs on and assess my team's time tracking, while also helping me manage career development, training and most importantly annual goal setting. Because of these features I am better able to evaluate how my staff are progressing, pinpoint issues early and make sure they're meeting their professional development objectives. I also rely on Workday to generate payroll reports and to update employee records although managing people remains my primary use for the system.

Cons

Actually I have been getting frequent comments that the site's scraping functionality falls short, forcing applicants to repeatedly type the same information when applying for different positions. I know of an easy workaround like a plain text file that can autofill those fields-but most people probably don't. Because of that lack of awareness, applicants keep facing the same friction and I think Workday should highlight this simple autofill trick more prominently on their site so users can save time and avoid redundant data entry.
