“Flexible single go-to ERP solution”
Pros
Workday is incredibly user-friendly and a flexible ERP solution. After applying a few enhancements to the core platform, we've come to rely on it as our single go-to system for ERP needs, consolidated financials and HR services.
Cons
Even though it's an excellent product overall, we still had to commit a significant amount of time, money and staff training to get it working properly. Once the implementation is finished and everything is running though, it really takes off.

“simplifies everything for me”
Pros
Well I rely on Workday for managing holidays and HR tasks at our company. The layout is user friendly so requesting time off and checking my remaining days is quick and easy. Also I get real-time updates so I don't need to dig through paperwork to see my leave balance. I even like that it connects with other HR tools so everything I need is in one place. Though it can slow down when everyone is using it but overall, it makes managing leave much simpler and more transparent for both staff and HR.
Cons
It is a useful tool for handling time-off requests and other HR tasks though it's not perfect. The design is mostly clear so requesting leave or checking balances is usually simple. That said the system can get noticeably slow during busy times which is annoying when I'm trying to get something done quickly.

Pros
What I like most is the clean, user friendly interface. Also it really improves the experience for both HR staff and regular employees and I find it works well for companies of all sizes, from small businesses up to large enterprises.

“Five years of user-friendly reliability”
Pros
Let me tell you that I have been using Workday for the past five years and find the interface very user-friendly. The platform packs a wide array of features that cover a lot of ground for HR work. At my company I rely on it for recruiting and a range of HR functions and I also use it to check my own details like time off balances and payroll. Customer support does a good job communicating whenever there are platform issues and they follow up with updates once things are fixed. While I haven't personally managed an implementation, colleagues who have said the setup process was simple and easy to handle.
Cons
I'd like the option to build my own reports inside Workday. It would be helpful to be able to select the categories I need and then apply filters to narrow the results. Right now our HRIS team has to generate most reports because the process feels too complicated for everyday users.

“Easy navigation with productive mobile app”
Pros
What I like most about Workday is how user-friendly its interface feels. Also it is remarkably user friendly and easy to move around so organizing tasks and finding key information is not a problem. On top of that the mobile app keeps me connected and productive when I am away from my desk. Overall it makes my workday much simpler!
Cons
One small issue I have is that loading very large datasets or complex reports can occasionally be a bit slow which can interrupt the flow of work at times. That said, this delay is minor and doesn't meaningfully detract from my overall satisfaction with the platform.

“Clean interface for leave and reviews”
Pros
I like that the interface is clean and user friendly. Also I can quickly submit leave requests, complete year-end reviews and request feedback from coworkers. It also lets me view company benefits and payroll/compensation details.
Cons
For me almost everything is really useful though occasionally notifications arrive a bit late. that hasn't caused major problems and aside from that quirk, I am very happy with the app.

“Scales well with evolving company needs”
Pros
From my experience Workday HCM scales really well so I find it a great fit for organizations of any size as it grows alongside the company and adjusts to evolving needs without causing major disruptions.
Cons
I have noticed that tailoring Workday HCM to meet very specific organizational requirements can be pretty complicated and often needs technical know-how. its flexibility is valuable but that same adaptability can make setup and configuration quite difficult.

“Poor UI lacks people analytics”
Pros
Honestly I cannot find anything I like about Workday.
Cons
Using it is not fun with a really poor UI/UX and I constantly cannot locate even the simplest items. Nothing about the interface is user friendly so whether I am trying to view someone's employment history in a clean table, run a department-specific report or change a person's job title, the process always ends up being harder, messier and more confusing than it should be. To make matters worse, there are no built-in people analytics which blew my mind. I was genuinely surprised to discover that BambooHR, a solution aimed at small and mid-sized businesses, offers better native people analytics than Workday, of all systems. I really don't understand why anyone would pick Workday when so many superior alternatives exist. Using it has become the absolute worst part of my workday.

“Worst part of my job daily”
Pros
If I am being real I have not find anything I like about it at all
Cons
Well using it feels incredibly off as the UI and overall UX are terrible and I am constantly unable to locate even the simplest features. Whether I want to pull up someone's job history in a clean, tabular view, generate a report for a specific department or just change a person's job title, every task ends up being more difficult, messier and much more confusing than it should be. On top of that, there are no built-in people analytics which genuinely surprised me as I was floored to discover that BambooHR which targets small and medium businesses, actually offers better integrated people analytics than Workday, the supposed industry giant. I cannot wrap my head around why anyone would pick Workday when so many superior options exist. Using Workday is easily the worst part of my job.

“Simplifies tasks with outstanding support”
Pros
As a member of the HR team, I rely on this for account management and absence administration and it really simplifies day to day administration tasks. We get a wide range of customizable settings and powerful integrations with many third-party applications. Their customer support both phone and online has been outstanding for us.
Cons
At the moment I don't have major complaints. Getting external technical help can be a little tricky. Apart from that, I don't really have any dislikes about Workday. One downside is that there's no free tier or trial version available.

“Covers full employee lifecycle well”
Pros
I have found its feature set covers the full employee lifecycle from hiring through retirement making it a very powerful HR suite. Recruiting, onboarding, performance tracking and training are all handled effectively. There's also smooth integration with other HR and finance tools which keeps information flowing cleanly and maintains accurate data across systems.
Cons
Honestly I don't have any complaints about Workday HCM.
