“Clean interface brings HR finance together”
Pros
What I like most about Workday is its clean, user friendly interface and how easily it brings HR and finance together. I also value the powerful analytics and cloud-based access which have noticeably improved efficiency and made collaboration across our teams much smoother in managing the workforce.
Cons
I have noticed Workday can come with a fairly steep learning curve and there are limits to how much you can customize things, plus some setups for advanced features can get complicated. On top of that, a few people struggle with adapting to updates and there are occasional performance hiccups.

“ideal for expense management tracking”
Pros
I am a fan of how user-friendly this platform is and I find it easy to connect with other applications and services. Within Workday we rely on several modules, such as Expense Management where I can follow the full lifecycle of expense reports including every attachment and the audit trail. We also use the banking integrations so my team can match up all bank transactions against daily feeds that the bank uploads. I also like that every file or record can be exported or printed as a PDF for audits and I can always check the timestamp showing when a transaction was finalized.
Cons
Because Workday is a cloud-hosted service, I have to make a conscious effort to save drafts of items like manual journal entries and similar documents. if I forget to do that the platform won't retain my edits and I'll be forced to start over and recreate everything from scratch.

“accessible from anywhere everywhere”
Pros
It is user friendly, easy to use and largely self-explanatory, supports multiple languages, feels customer-focused and is accessible everywhere and anywhere, etc.
Cons
From my experience the system's flexibility can be constrained in specific situations, leaving clients with little choice but to modify their local processes if they want to leverage the system's functionality.

“User-friendly with automatic integrations”
Pros
The interface is very user friendly and simple to navigate and the way it connects with PayFactors works automatically and without hiccups. We have the sync scheduled weekly and PayFactors provided great support the one time we ran into a problem with that integration.
Cons
Overall there really isn't much I dislike about it although I do find that customizing it isn't very easy.

“Easy timesheet approval and entry nicely”
Pros
Approving employee timesheets from a desktop is very easy. I also find it easy to enter my own hours and submit them.
Cons
My only issue is that you cannot view individual employee time details on a phone. It only shows the total hours they logged.

“Single platform replaces separate systems”
Pros
We used to juggle separate systems for hiring, vacation tracking, performance evaluations and more but now everything's housed in a single platform which really simplifies our processes. Compared to BambooHR which we previously relied on, this system feels much more user-friendly.
Cons
From my perspective the org chart isn't great for getting an overview as it's more useful if you search for a particular person's name to figure out which team they belong to. I'd really like to see a clearer, more zoomed-out chart option.

“Reliable logical layout for beginners”
Pros
Workday is a leading cloud-based platform for HR and finance. As a regular user, I have found it to be reliable, easy to use and helpful in improving how our organization runs. The layout and controls feel logical and simple too making it easy for both experienced professionals and beginners. Plus the clear dashboards and easy navigation make daily use much more pleasant.
Cons
I do find that although it offers extensive customization making detailed tweaks to match particular company workflows can be tricky at times. I often need a proper grasp of the system and occasionally bring in Workday consultants for help. The cost model also feels fairly high for smaller firms. Even though the platform delivers strong value, tight budgets can make it hard for some organizations to justify the expense.

“Wide-ranging one-stop enterprise platform”
Pros
I like how wide-ranging the platform is from workforce planning through talent acquisition and ATS, analytics to talent management and Skills Cloud. It handles performance management, time tracking and L&D. For enterprise HR I have found Workday HCM to be a one-stop shop with strong customization
Cons
ownership costs are high for mid-market customers. Feature depth and variety add much complexity. The user interfaces seem quite archaic and resemble ERP software overall

“Best cloud-based portal with fantastic interface”
Pros
Workday has been one of the best cloud-based employee management portals I have come across. Its platform is incredibly user-friendly and the interface looks fantastic. In my experience it's a full-featured human resources management system that lets me handle both employees personal details and their professional records. I personally access it at least three times each week.
Cons
I have been using it for the last three months and haven't run into any problems so far.

Pros
When managing my team, I appreciate the team recognition features and how easily I can pull reports to keep things organized.

“Bundled tools with handy shortcuts”
Pros
One thing I really like about Workday is that it bundles a lot of tools as everything from the company calendar and performance reviews to salary details and personal profile info. I can also check company announcements and read feedback from coworkers right there. The interface includes handy shortcuts that make moving around quicker. I usually open it a few times each month, maybe three times, to stay on top of things.
Cons
What frustrates me is that having so many features can make the app feel cluttered and it's not always obvious where to find things like pay slips or bank information. I end up clicking through several sections just to confirm I am in the right place. It requires patience and extra navigation to get to specific items.

“Best HR tool after ADP”
Pros
From my experience Workday is built to let you accomplish almost anything you need, provided you understand the system and its possible configurations. I really like that Workday lets me examine the history of business processes and modify or augment those processes as needed. After many years working with ADP, I genuinely believe Workday is the best tool for HR.
Cons
I find the candidate recruitment workflow can be overly long and sometimes unnecessarily drawn out. While I enjoy the learning resources Workday provides, I wish they offered more hands-on configuration training so administrators and power users could get deeper, practical setup experience.

“How can such poor UX still exist?”
Pros
Having all the necessary information organized and stored in one centralized location is incredibly convenient to me.
Cons
I can't comprehend how software with such poor UX exists today. It feels like being stuck in 2010. Navigating is a disaster, and goal tracking is even worse than the other features.
