“Central place connects all systems”
Pros
Workday HCM is part of a larger HR suite so I can connect all our HR systems and manage everything from one central place.
Cons
My experience is similar to other HCMs as I feel there are areas where it could be improved to make bulk hiring workflows much simpler and less time-consuming.

“solid HCM suite”
Pros
Built as part of a larger HRM platform, it connects your HR systems in one central place without making everything feel scattered.

“Great platform for tracking paystubs”
Pros
Workday is a great platform, loaded with many tools for complete HR management and I personally love using it to keep track of my paystubs.
Cons
After experimenting with some new features, I have to admit it comes across as clunky to use when there's no clear documentation or decent onboarding.

“Staff access handbooks and policies”
Pros
It is really easy to use and our staff can access every single handbook and policy directly within the platform.
Cons
That said we do find it somewhat pricey compared to other options but honestly that's the only drawback I have noticed.

“User-friendly for core HR tasks”
Pros
One thing I really like about Workday HCM is how user friendly and easy to use the platform feels. Also I find the interface makes working through core HR tasks like onboarding, performance reviews and employee self-service pretty good.
Cons
I did struggle with the steep initial learning curve of Workday HCM which can be particularly challenging for people who aren't very comfortable with technology.

“Helpful tools for employees and alumni”
Pros
Workday offers a lot of helpful tools whether you are a new hire, a long-time employee or even an alum to find what you need. Even after I left that job, I still found it easy to use when I needed tax documents or wanted to look for new roles.
Cons
At first I didn't find the interface very user friendly which was frustrating but attending HR office hours and spending more time poking around the app made it much easier to get the hang of.

Pros
Comes packed with features that help employees, new hires, long-time staff and even alumni, quickly locate the key resources they need. Even after I left the company, the platform was still simple to use for things like handling my taxes and finding a new job.
Cons
At first, navigation felt a little unadaptive but that improved after attending HR office hours and getting more familiar with the product.

“All-in-one handles entire service”
Pros
For me it's a comprehensive, all-in-one HR platform that handles the entire service spectrum so I can take care of everything in a single place instead of juggling multiple tools.
Cons
I find the procedures are quite inflexible which means there are very limited options to customize the system to meet our specific needs.

“Pay stubs and time-off easy”
Pros
For me finding what I need like pay stubs, time-off requests and similar options is pretty simple and easy to navigate.
Cons
I get frustrated by how many clicks are required when I switch between certain features. simple actions, such as requesting time off, force me to manually fill in multiple fields every time and the system doesn't remember my entries. On top of that, the inbox or task items are unclear because I often receive duplicate notifications and then I am left unsure whether I have actually completed what was asked of me.

Pros
I can handle human capital directly inside the platform, including tracking team members time-off requests and overseeing their talent development plans without having to leave the screen.
Cons

“Good but could be better”
Pros
