“packed with the best features”
Pros
I have found that they offer the most complete collection of features to cover HCM needs. Their functionality feels powerful and highly configurable and the HCM product connects natively to our other Workday modules smoothly, essentially working out of the box.
Cons
Over the years we've watched the pricing climb steadily until it reached a level that's simply unaffordable for us.

“excellent experience”
Pros
They offer one of the most complete feature sets for HCM needs. The functionality feels rich and highly customizable so we can shape it around how HR teams actually work. Also, the HCM module integrates natively with the rest of the components and it fits together with very little setup... basically out of the box.
Cons
Pricing has kept climbing year after year and it's now reached a level that feels too expensive for our budget.

“could be better”
Pros
The ability to copy expense reports is a real time-saver and that's the one part I genuinely appreciate.
Cons
Everything else feels pretty tangled, tax setup, adding details and the number of steps for uploading receipts (including doing it multiple times) makes the whole process confusing and I struggle to finish an expense report.

“accessible but needs more updates”
Pros
While working at Target, it made my tasks more accessible and really does the job I was looking for overall
Cons
I wish they would provide more frequent updates. It's generally excellent but if they improved customer service and truly listened to customers perspectives, I believe it would keep getting better consistently

“more updates needed”
Pros
While I was working at Target, it made a lot of tasks feel more accessible and it handles the needs I had pretty well. It does the job for what you're trying to accomplish.
Cons
I do wish there were more regular updates. Overall it feels pretty good but with stronger customer service and more willingness to listen to what customers think, it could really keep improving and stand out even more.

“Self-service lets employees update details”
Pros
I have found that the thing I appreciate most about Workday is its self-service feature which lets employees update their personal details and easily view their pay stubs and direct deposit settings whenever they need to.
Cons
For me the least appealing aspect is that the software's look and overall visual design feel somewhat outdated and a little dull.

“good experience”
Pros
The best part is the self-service option. It lets employees update their own details and quickly access pay statements and direct deposit information without jumping through extra steps.
Cons
One thing I'm not as happy with is the overall look, everything feels a little outdated and a bit dull from a cosmetic/design standpoint.

“Centralizes everything for our employees”
Pros
One thing I really value about Workday is how it centralizes everything our company needs to function and managing employees through Workday works exceptionally well for me.
Cons
My biggest issue with Workday is that it sometimes undergoes maintenance during my work hours which prevents me from using the application when I need it.

“Highly customizable works on mobile”
Pros
Workday interface is really easy to use and it's highly customizable, works well on my phone and connects with other apps.
Cons
My main frustrations are the price, a steep learning curve, the initial setup being complicated, a lack of many third-party integrations, unclear pricing transparency and a limited ATS.

“clean UI”
Pros
Interface is simple to work with and there's plenty of room to customize things to match how our team operates. It also works well on a cellphone which has been a big win for staying productive on the go. Also, it integrates nicely with other apps we already use so we're not constantly switching between tools.
Cons
Pricing can get expensive and there's a learning curve... especially when you're first trying to get everything set up. Setup also feels more complex than expected at the start. There are also fewer third-party apps available than I'd hoped and pricing isn't as transparent as it should be. Lastly, the ATS support feels limited compared to what's advertised.

“Track staffing levels across devices”
Pros
We can easily keep tabs on staffing levels and our employees are able to sign into the system either from a desktop computer or through the mobile app whenever they need to.
Cons
I find the clock-in process can be frustrating because it requires so many steps and fixing a wrong punch is also awkward and often creates headaches for employees.
