“simple navigation”
Pros
It is so simple to use though and everything feels easy to navigate. The mobile experience is also a big plus since it's built to work well on my phone.
Cons
No downsides so far. I switched over from ADP and I'm liking this one much better.

“Reliable enterprise tool with poor UI”
Pros
In my experience Workday performed reliably across a very large organization for tasks such as payroll, benefits tracking and enrollment, performance evaluations and other HR needs. I think it's really geared toward very large or structurally complex enterprises and its design and overhead tend to make it impractical for smaller or mid-sized companies to fully adopt and benefit from.
Cons
the user interface is a major drawback as it's off and often difficult to navigate. There were times when I couldn't even get into the platform which caused a lot of uncertainty and frustration for me. For specific functions like performance reviews and benefits enrollment it generally does the job but as a UI it falls short compared with other HCM systems that provide a more user-friendly experience. Because usability is such a central part of any HCM solution, I really hope the developers prioritize making the interface smoother and easier to use.

“Essentials covered but extra steps”
Pros
For running my clinic, it reliably takes care of the essentials and I find it pretty simple to sign in whenever I need to.
Cons
Its interface is not the best and not user friendly and it forces me into extra steps compared to other similar programs I have used.

“Helpful FAQ with payslips together”
Pros
Workday's detailed FAQ and support were really helpful. Also it was easy to navigate and included everything from employment dates to payslips all in one place.
Cons
While it does include virtually all necessary functions, I have noticed that wording mismatches. For example around paygrade names mean employers sometimes rely on outside tools or end up having to walk employees through certain items on Workday face-to-face.

“we love it”
Pros
The detailed FAQ and support resources were really helpful. Navigation is simple and it manages to cover every feature I needed, like employment period details and payslips, all within a single platform.
Cons
Even though it includes all the core functionality, there are moments where wording doesn't line up with what a company uses (for example, pay grade levels). When that happens, teams may rely on external tools or end up needing to explain the same information again in person.

“Quick tax documents after the learning curve”
Pros
I can quickly pull down tax documents and pay stubs which saves me time. Navigating performance reviews and tracking talent progress is fairly easy too once you become familiar with the software's interface. What sells it for me is how easily I can access my pay history and past performance evaluations.
Cons
I don't have a lot of complaints about it from an employee perspective. That said, I have heard that the recruiting module can be clunky and hard to navigate. Another issue I have noticed is that when I request PTO it often doesn't deduct from my available time which can be confusing. The onboarding process is essentially non-existent once you've filled in your personal details. That might be specific to my company but in my experience the onboarding feature serves almost no practical purpose.

“Easy file tracking with a handy plug-in”
Pros
Workday is pretty easy to use and I can easily track down important files like pay stubs, insurance paperwork and other related documents without digging around. Its plug-in is handy too, letting me clock in and out quickly and easily.
Cons
However I have noticed it can be slow at times when loading documents and generating reports which can be frustrating when I need information quickly.

“Clean interface saves time”
Pros
It is very user-friendly. Plus the clean interface, along with strong automation and smooth integrations makes things much simpler. The UI is also easy to navigate which saves both employees and managers time and frustration.
Cons
For me the biggest downside is how long and resource-heavy the initial setup can be. it eats up time and team bandwidth. Also although Workday is flexible, many tweaks demand technical know-how so customization isn't as user-friendly as I'd hoped.

“Has strong automation”
Pros
Stands out for its user friendly interface solid automation and the way it integrates smoothly with other systems. Also, the UI is simple to navigate which helps both employees and employers get through day to day tasks faster and with less friction.
Cons
The setup process can be pretty time consuming and demanding in terms of resources. It's also worth noting that even though it offers flexibility some customization options still need technical know.. how so those parts don't feel as approachable or user friendly.

“Combines talent payroll recruitment well”
Pros
Using Workday HCM, I have found it pretty good and it combines all the key capabilities I need for talent management, payroll and recruitment. I also like that it connects smoothly with other systems and performs consistently across devices
Cons
Well I find the initial configuration can be somewhat complicated to handle which is particularly challenging for smaller companies or teams without extensive IT resources
