“easy to understand and use”
Pros
Honestly I find the variety of tools in this software really amazing and easy to use and understand.
Cons
Also I would really like to see more functionality available on the mobile app so I can handle tasks while I am on the go.

“One-stop shop organized works well”
Pros
What I like is that it's a one stop shop as everything I need is organized in a single place and it works really well.
Cons
i noticed there are far too many clicks involved when moving around the app. they should add customizable shortcuts or let users open multiple screens at once to make workflows smoother.

“navigation still remains a chore”
Pros
For me it's convenient to have a single place to turn to for many of my questions. I also appreciate being able to reach it from outside work hours. Plus I value being able to update my profile and account on my own without going to HR which was especially helpful during COVID.
Cons
I have no idea who designed its layout but trying to enter info or set up a profile feels like a treasure hunt. Also it is not user friendly at all. I often have to type the same thing in multiple places. For example, I'll save my Social Security number in one spot but another screen asks for it again and they are not connected. As someone who does not use it every day, I am constantly forgetting where things are. And when updates roll out, the layout changes and I get lost. I can see why a large company might benefit from it but for me, the navigation makes it a frustrating experience.

“Configurable with an easy reporting”
Pros
It is a user-friendly HCM platform. It is configurable and built to allow managers to implement employee changes. Workflows for different tasks can be tailored according to approval steps. Reporting remains easy and uncomplicated. It also offers an online community where I can suggest enhancements and deepen my understanding of the platform.
Cons
When it comes to HCM systems in general, there's a substantial learning curve. From my viewpoint in Compensation and Payroll, I wish there were a simpler method to manage remote employees within the platform. despite that, I am very pleased with Workday's comprehensive capabilities.

“Easy login with hour tracking”
Pros
I like how easy the program was to operate and how user friendly the login process made tracking my hours. I could quickly view my hours and monitor my earnings. I also valued that it lacked the confusing features employees often encounter in other human resource management systems and payroll tools overall.
Cons
Occasionally our system would go down and we ended up recording hours by hand which meant the supervisor had to enter the time afterwards. This only occurred every few months and might have been a network problem yet it was a fairly regular annoyance. We also tried calling support and struggled to reach someone who could resolve our question in a timely manner which was quite frustrating for the team.

“Dedicated areas are neatly grouped on pages”
Pros
What I like is that there's a dedicated area for everything I need such as items are neatly grouped on each page which makes it easy for me to find things and understand how to move around the system.
Cons
I feel the interface needs a redesign as it doesn't have the visual polish that other platforms offer. The fonts and layout are quite plain and the text is small which for me reduces usability and makes interacting with the app more difficult.

“Centralized with frequent current updates”
Pros
Overall I appreciate having everything centralized and being able to add new components as needed. I also notice frequent updates that help keep Workday feeling current and maintained and usually up to date.
Cons
With all the updates, there is a constant and steep learning curve. Some changes even need Workday specialists to implement. Such as having a good partner or internal team makes a big difference. Plus I have to keep up and test everything thoroughly which takes a lot of time.

“Auto-populate hours with reminders”
Pros
The software is easy to use. It makes tracking my hours simple and gives reminders about when my timesheets must be submitted. Also if I work normal 40 hour week, I can auto-populate my weekly hours from past weeks. It lets me verify my hours before they go to my manager.
Cons
Sometimes I experience glitches when manually entering.

“Many modules integrate different areas”
Pros
I have noticed there are many modules covering different HR areas so I can integrate them.
Cons
From my experience you have to be careful about how you implement your work processes into the system because usually when something isn't working, it's more likely due to how I set it up than a fault in the software itself.

“Cloud-based limits large company customization”
Pros
One thing I like is that it brings together built-in HR management, benefits, talent development, recruiting, payroll, timekeeping, workforce planning and analytics, plus learning into a single modern, data-centric offering. All the components communicate with one another inside this completely integrated system, instead of relying on separate vendors' products that don't always work well together. It is a cost-effective and scalable option that avoids the need for on-premises capital expenditures or additional running costs. Straightaway, Workday provides value to both small and large employers. People who move between companies may welcome encountering the same platform repeatedly - cutting down on time spent learning new software and preventing drops in productivity and significantly easing cross-company transitions overall.
Cons
Since it is cloud-based, it's not as customizable as some competitors that offer on-site support especially for larger companies with bigger budgets. That's not necessarily a deal-breaker but it makes you think about what solution fits best based on company size and needs. For employers with a few thousand employees or less, it is a good choice. For much larger organizations, it's more complex because there are other options that offer more on-site resources. In the end, it really depends on the companys internal strengths and priorities.

“Multiple modules save time communicating”
Pros
We found the platform very usable, with several modules that give us a lot of flexibility. We were able to combine multiple HR workflows into the same system which saved time and effort. It also makes communicating within the team noticeably simpler.
Cons
I have noticed the BI information isn't organized well and can feel poorly structured so some crucial details are missing. On top of that, a few of the workflows are fairly complicated to set up and activate.

“offer easy access but not user friendly”
Pros
Everything I need to know about my team lives in a single spot and I am really grateful I don't have to hunt across a dozen different apps for various bits of information. For the most part I can answer my own questions from what Workday shows so I rarely need to reach out to HR.
Cons
The interface doesn't feel very user friendly so finding exactly what I need can be a real chore at times. After using it for about a year Ihave figured out where most things live yet I still end up clicking through several menus and screens before I finally locate the information I was trying to access.
