“ideal for expense management tracking”
Pros
I am a fan of how user-friendly this platform is and I find it easy to connect with other applications and services. Within Workday we rely on several modules, such as Expense Management where I can follow the full lifecycle of expense reports including every attachment and the audit trail. We also use the banking integrations so my team can match up all bank transactions against daily feeds that the bank uploads. I also like that every file or record can be exported or printed as a PDF for audits and I can always check the timestamp showing when a transaction was finalized.
Cons
Because Workday is a cloud-hosted service, I have to make a conscious effort to save drafts of items like manual journal entries and similar documents. if I forget to do that the platform won't retain my edits and I'll be forced to start over and recreate everything from scratch.

“accessible from anywhere everywhere”
Pros
It is user friendly, easy to use and largely self-explanatory, supports multiple languages, feels customer-focused and is accessible everywhere and anywhere, etc.
Cons
From my experience the system's flexibility can be constrained in specific situations, leaving clients with little choice but to modify their local processes if they want to leverage the system's functionality.

“strong hr management”
Pros
Offers a solid HR management system, with a platform that helps organize and store complex HR information while keeping records in order. The UI is designed around a business-style structure so it's pretty simple to move between different HR sections and find the right records without feeling lost.
Cons
When you open each section, the level of detail feels uneven some parts are overly packed with information while others are too sparse. That inconsistency sometimes forces extra clicking and extra time just to locate what you need. I realize this may depend on a company's HR policy and how the setup is organized but with more sections available, it would still be really helpful if managers could access HR records in fewer steps.

“User-friendly with automatic integrations”
Pros
The interface is very user friendly and simple to navigate and the way it connects with PayFactors works automatically and without hiccups. We have the sync scheduled weekly and PayFactors provided great support the one time we ran into a problem with that integration.
Cons
Overall there really isn't much I dislike about it although I do find that customizing it isn't very easy.

“Essential features manage operations well”

I have found that Workday includes all the essential features on its platform which really helps me manage HR operations efficiently.
Cons

“onboarding made easy”
Pros
I use it mainly for talent acquisition and hiring and it feels like an efficient, end-to-end solution that keeps the whole process moving. It supports the workflow from posting roles to onboarding candidates so recruiters and managers aren't constantly hopping between tools. Applicant monitoring is also a big win... managers can track applicants quickly and the candidate management features are pretty comprehensive, including things like tracking and criteria filtering. The mobile version is a handy bonus too.
Cons
A couple things could be better. The analytics section would benefit from more customizable options especially for executives who want very detailed and precise reporting. Also, file sharing could be improved further.

“Easy timesheet approval and entry nicely”
Pros
Approving employee timesheets from a desktop is very easy. I also find it easy to enter my own hours and submit them.
Cons
My only issue is that you cannot view individual employee time details on a phone. It only shows the total hours they logged.

“Single platform replaces separate systems”
Pros
We used to juggle separate systems for hiring, vacation tracking, performance evaluations and more but now everything's housed in a single platform which really simplifies our processes. Compared to BambooHR which we previously relied on, this system feels much more user-friendly.
Cons
From my perspective the org chart isn't great for getting an overview as it's more useful if you search for a particular person's name to figure out which team they belong to. I'd really like to see a clearer, more zoomed-out chart option.

“Good overall”
Pros
It is a really comprehensive tool. It helps track employees' careers, lets you access each person's HR profile and brings together all the key information about them in one place. It also lets me manage my follow-up points with each of my collaborators which makes the whole process much more organized.
Cons
Navigation between the different modules and features isn't very adaptive. Getting started is especially tricky with areas like importing employee documents and setting up annual reviews, at first it's hard to understand what needs to be done, where to click and how the flow works. Also, the session disconnects a bit quickly, it logs out after about 5 minutes of inactivity.

“Reliable logical layout for beginners”
Pros
Workday is a leading cloud-based platform for HR and finance. As a regular user, I have found it to be reliable, easy to use and helpful in improving how our organization runs. The layout and controls feel logical and simple too making it easy for both experienced professionals and beginners. Plus the clear dashboards and easy navigation make daily use much more pleasant.
Cons
I do find that although it offers extensive customization making detailed tweaks to match particular company workflows can be tricky at times. I often need a proper grasp of the system and occasionally bring in Workday consultants for help. The cost model also feels fairly high for smaller firms. Even though the platform delivers strong value, tight budgets can make it hard for some organizations to justify the expense.

“Wide-ranging one-stop enterprise platform”
Pros
I like how wide-ranging the platform is from workforce planning through talent acquisition and ATS, analytics to talent management and Skills Cloud. It handles performance management, time tracking and L&D. For enterprise HR I have found Workday HCM to be a one-stop shop with strong customization
Cons
ownership costs are high for mid-market customers. Feature depth and variety add much complexity. The user interfaces seem quite archaic and resemble ERP software overall

Pros
Very user friendly, with a clean layout and simple navigation. Everything feels organized so jumping in doesn't take much effort.

“Best cloud-based portal with fantastic interface”
Pros
Workday has been one of the best cloud-based employee management portals I have come across. Its platform is incredibly user-friendly and the interface looks fantastic. In my experience it's a full-featured human resources management system that lets me handle both employees personal details and their professional records. I personally access it at least three times each week.
Cons
I have been using it for the last three months and haven't run into any problems so far.

“tiring steps”
Pros
I've been using it for a while and I really appreciate how it links coworkers smoothly and provides a clear, end-to-end view of business processes for whatever task you're working on. Even though there's a learning curve, the way it connects everything is a real win.
Cons
The downside is that the process involves several steps which can feel a little annoying at times and I haven't fully gotten used to the flow yet. Still, the overall functionality is strong and hard to overlook.

Pros
When managing my team, I appreciate the team recognition features and how easily I can pull reports to keep things organized.

“easy navigation”
Pros
The whole system feels really adaptive and the navigation plus overall simplicity are genuinely top-notch. It's been a dependable everyday tool and the graphical interface fits the purpose it's designed for very well.
Cons
Occasionally, the online access drops the ball and that can affect how reliable the system feels. Since we're in a digital age, the app would benefit from more effort going into a more portable and stable version.

“Bundled tools with handy shortcuts”
Pros
One thing I really like about Workday is that it bundles a lot of tools as everything from the company calendar and performance reviews to salary details and personal profile info. I can also check company announcements and read feedback from coworkers right there. The interface includes handy shortcuts that make moving around quicker. I usually open it a few times each month, maybe three times, to stay on top of things.
Cons
What frustrates me is that having so many features can make the app feel cluttered and it's not always obvious where to find things like pay slips or bank information. I end up clicking through several sections just to confirm I am in the right place. It requires patience and extra navigation to get to specific items.

“perfect !”
Pros
When management assigns work like reviewing goals or checking documents, I'm able to track the progress step-by-step all the way to the final stage.
Cons
Some of the prompts at the bottom of the page feel pretty vague. For example, when it says "submit," I can't tell whether the selections on that screen are locked or if I can come back later to make changes. Occasionally there's a "save for later" option but it doesn't show up consistently.
