“reliable to use”
Pros
From a payroll admin perspective, there's honestly not much to feel positive about. It feels like the product shouldn't have added a payroll module in the first place especially since it doesn't cover payroll features and responsibilities the way other dedicated payroll systems do.
Cons
Overall, it comes across as more of an HR recording tool than a true payroll system. Also, there's no live customer support available which is pretty disappointing when you run into issues.

“clear ui”
Pros
The interface is really clean and everything feels adaptive to navigate and understand. As the functions get more complex, the app still makes it simple to see where each part fits in so you're not guessing about what does what.
Cons
Nothing comes to mind right now. It's a solid tool and I'd definitely suggest it to anyone currently using other software like SAP, this could be a strong replacement.

“Long steps for simple hiring”
Pros
The org charts are handy and it's really simple for me to pull up organizational charts when I need them. Other than that, I don't find Workday particularly useful.
Cons
I find it tedious because there are far too many steps required to complete even basic tasks. The interface doesn't feel user-friendly and processing new hires becomes a real hassle. When I am acting as a hiring manager, creating requisitions is awkward and involves an excessive number of steps for a single task.

“Tailored reports save valuable time”
Pros
I find Workday to be an excellent, user-friendly HRIS. the standout thing for me is how I can tailor and automate reports to meet specific needs which saves me time.
Cons
Overall my experience is positive but I still struggle sometimes because creating reports can be pretty challenging for new users who lack any technical training.

“easy to use”
Pros
Super easy to use and really helpful for managing people or keeping track of inventory.
Cons
The layout could be more dynamic, going back to a previous page is a bit difficult. It would be nice to navigate without having to keep tapping the bar or to be able to jump back to the homepage more smoothly.

“solid feature set”
Pros
It pretty much covers what we need and it's expanding its feature set really quickly. Only time will tell whether it can stay ahead of how fast the industry keeps changing.
Cons
User interface could be more adaptive and doesn't feel polished enough. Even though the backend processes are solid, they can come across as overly complicated for end users

“Strong security protects employee information”

“automation and organized workflows”
Pros
Automation and workflow setup for everything has really helped. Admin tasks feel much lighter because the processes run more or less on their own and the overall flow is well organized.
Cons
Clearly built as a more corporate style system so there are some limits when it comes to customizability.

“payroll control is great”
Pros
I stuck with it for a few solid reasons. For one, I wanted a more modern setup for payroll... handling payments smartly, running payroll processes smoothly, supporting audits and keeping the level of flexibility I need beyond its payroll itself. I also preferred a platform with a stronger, more structured approach to job setup and goal tracking and it's genuinely helped push my ambitions in a positive direction. Also, it gives me better balance between work and personal life so I can focus more on things outside my official job responsibilities.
Cons
No complaints at all. Nothing among the features stands out as something I like least and everything feels useful and up to the standard I'm looking for.

“Cloud-based is resilient against major risks”
Pros
From my experience with data handling, I find Workday hard to beat. Its cloud-based capabilities make it significantly better. It feels so resilient that major risks such as natural disasters and ransomware attacks wouldn't stand much of a chance against Workday. I also appreciate how user-friendly it is and how smoothly it connects with other applications which adds to its overall strength.
Cons
I honestly don't find many downsides to it but being designed with large enterprises in mind means smaller companies may see it as somewhat costly.

“Clean interface with smooth workflow”
Pros
For me the interface is clean with a good UI, the workflow feels smooth, the organization view is effective and the search functionality works well.
Cons
I would like to see a built-in tax and TDS system added and it would be great if they could include more payroll tabs to expand functionality.

“Syncs platforms pushes information easily”
Pros
For our company, I find Workday syncs with our other platforms which makes it really easy for me to push information across the organization.
Cons
I think the platform is fantastic but it required a fair amount of time to get comfortable with it and I had to go through many tutorials.

“Central resources need better search”
Pros
I appreciate that Workday keeps many everyday tools, files, handbooks and similar resources all together so I can access what I need for my daily tasks in a single location.
Cons
For me navigating Workday feels a bit buggy. I have had trouble finding specific documents or pages when I am not already sure where they live. It could really use a much better, more powerful search feature.

“Stable browser tool costs too much”
Pros
Overall I find it quite user-friendly. it runs in the browser and feels very stable. I also appreciate the regular updates, it integrates with our SSO and tech-savvy users manage it easily without too much trouble.
Cons
Honestly I find it really, really expensive so it's a poor fit for smaller teams. The customization options are limited and I occasionally hit performance problems. For non-technical users, the UI feels complicated.

“simplifies time off and expense filing”
Pros
It is really easy to request time off. Plus I can quickly see exactly how much leave I have and it also makes filing expense reports really easy and hassle-free.
Cons
I wish there was a way to report when something's missing. For instance, if I am trying to expense an item but the appropriate cost center isn't available, I'd like to be able to flag that directly to my organization so it can be added or fixed.

“Org chart handy but complex reporting”
Pros
I find the organizational structure chart and the quick people-search feature incredibly handy because it lets me pull up someone's peers, direct reports and managers without fuss. Having a clearly organised task list in the actions panel also comes in extremely useful, especially when I am juggling a large team and facing many competing priorities at once.
Cons
Sometimes I struggle to do simple things like checking time-off balances for my team as it ends up being way more complicated than it should be. The reporting tools seem powerful in theory but finding the right report and getting the results I want often takes too many clicks and jumping between screens.

“All HR functions are in one place”
Pros
As an employee, I appreciate how Workday brings all HR functions into a single place where I can check my salary history, view pay stubs, track PTO balances and requests, see the org chart and handle other company-related tasks.
Cons
I'd like Workday to provide more flexible, interactive ways to display information. For example, it would help if I could easily compare pay stubs across many months in a clear visual format or quickly see the combined total I have put into both my 401k and Roth 401k accounts.

“User-friendly platform for large companies”
Pros
I am impressed by how user-friendly it is and the breadth of its features. For a big company like ours, it's an excellent platform that lets us concentrate on our core products and services while relying on a customized business software solution.
Cons
In my experience availability has been spotty and there's a real lack of transparency about outages and support.
