“great control”
Pros
When i was new, I wasn't totally sure what I'd think at first, then I realized I didn't really have much choice since the company was the one paying for it. Either way, the setup felt convenient and simple to use and I could quickly see my hours before payday.
Cons
Nothing major bothered me with HCM. I never ran into any problems or issues that made me dislike it.

“Many features that are useful”
Pros
After swapping out several platforms for Workday, I am genuinely impressed by how many features and capabilities it includes. Also I find it to be a fantastic system and it becomes fairly easy to use once you learn the ropes.
Cons
Honestly I don't have major complaints though I have consistently struggled to find specific items because the navigation is clunky. That, together with a search function that's a bit sluggish and glitchy, can really dampen my otherwise positive impression.

“All systems integrate for growth”
Pros
One thing I really appreciate is that all systems integrate with Workday which makes managing data and the flow between records so much easier and I would highly recommend Workday for larger, fast-growing organizations.
Cons
I really miss the level of customization we enjoyed with our smaller HRIS platforms although it helps by consolidating multiple systems, I have found it lacks in certain functional areas and offers fewer configurable fields than we used to have.

“A single dashboard manages all”
Pros
It is pretty easy to use and lets me handle several tasks from a single dashboard. The end to end recruitment workflow inside it proved extremely helpful when managing hires. I can also store every employee's data and all related documents securely.
Cons
So far I have been really enjoying using Workday and I haven't encountered any issues or negative experiences with it.

“Broad features with customization limits”
Pros
Workday is pretty easy to use and it covers a broad set of human capital management features. Plus it provides very user friendly data analytics. From it I can uncover valuable insights and make data-driven choices to fine-tune our workforce management strategies.
Cons
Honestly I find Workday isn't very customizable for our needs. It sometimes struggles to integrate with other software and I face occasional system glitches. I'd like to see the UI improved.

“offers so many different benefits”
Pros
Benefits are easy to view, benefits are easy to change and payroll details are simple to retrieve. From my perspective there's a real collaboration between our team and Workday. They want us to succeed with the system and partner with us when issues arise. They also invite us into design committees so we can help shape the product moving forward.
Cons
At times I find it somewhat clumsy to locate certain documents and generating documents can be slow, while peer review processes need improvement. It still takes significant time to train someone to become a master Workday Report Writer. The approach is highly specific to Workday and unlike other reporting platforms so it takes additional time to bring people up to speed.

Pros
Overall it's a cohesive platform, I can view my salary, my leave balances org information and importantly company-level actions delivered straight to my inbox.

“Payroll management is easy now”
Pros
Simple to navigate and it's possible to self-learn how to handle most tasks without too much hassle. The categories are pretty self-explanatory, reporting is simple to input and pull out and it works really well for payroll and timecard management. Overall, it's been a strong fit for our business and I'd recommend it to other companies as well.
Cons
At the moment, I can't think of anything I disliked about the product.

“Easy profile creation for employees”
Pros
I found the interface really easy to use and I have experience creating a Workday profile for an employee because it helps collect all the information to learn about them.
Cons

“All-in-one tool simplifies HR processes”
Pros
From my experience Workday offers an all in one HCM solution that simplifies HR processes. I rely on it for employee check-ins and performance reviews and it makes PTO and payroll easy to monitor, request and administer. The platform also helps recruiting teams and HR alike by streamlining talent tracking, hiring and payroll. I have notice it can support organizations of varying sizes both small and large.
Cons
I found there's a steep learning curve when you begin using Workday. Because of how many features exist, it can feel impossible to master the platform completely. I have noticed that if someone hits a snag, they often cannot resolve it alone easily. Investing time to learn is definitely worthwhile. Some automated integrations process slowly and there isn't an option to increase run frequency or to customize the timing.

“Decent after bumps but paycheck issues”
Pros
After I got past some initial obstacles, I'd say it's only decent. The app clearly aims to be approachable and I really like the time-off request screen. What I appreciate most is being able to tailor the dashboard to show the things I use most which makes navigation a lot easier.
Cons
Moving to Workday has been bumpy for me. I have experienced missed paychecks and even lost vacation time. It can also be a pain to find basic HR tasks, like where to update tax info. The paycheck layout doesn't work for me and since it won't auto-calculate vacation rollovers, I find planning my time off far in advance nearly impossible.

“easy mobile access”
Pros
The interface feels really simple to navigate. I can locate what I'm looking for quickly, without wasting time searching through menus. Also, the mobile app makes it convenient to submit requests and monitor their progress even when I'm away from my desk.
Cons
No real downsides so far. I was able to start using it right away on day one and it felt adaptive, like I'd been using the system for years. The layout is simple and designed very well

“Dependable tool manages all HR”
Pros
I rely on Workday to handle our company's HR tasks such as recruiting, maintaining employee records and running payroll. The interface seems user friendly and efficient and it gives me useful analytics that help streamline HR workflows. To me it's a dependable tool that manages all our HR responsibilities for the organization.
Cons
I have noticed several frequent complaints about Workday HCM, like the rollout being fairly complicated, sporadic bugs or system hiccups and the fact that you need a lot of training before you can use all of its capabilities to their fullest.

“Calculated fields sold me completely”
Pros
As a user, I have found the interface easy to use and the options very helpful as it makes trying different setups simple and hassle-free. I also enjoy building reports for different teams and the ability to create calculated fields tied to specific functions is honestly the feature that sold me on this tool.
Cons
I have noticed that when I explore multiple paths within the tool, the undo capability for actions is quite limited which forces me to redo large portions of my work. That lack of granular undo creates extra rounds of iteration over the entire project and becomes pretty tedious after a while.

Pros
For me Workday is pretty simple and very user-friendly to use. It includes multiple features and has the ability to handle all different categories of functionality very effectively.
Cons

“Thorough platform but requires too many clicks”
Pros
it is a thorough and easy to use platform that helps simplify HR and workforce tasks. Also its clean, user friendly interface, broad set of features and smooth integration options make it my go-to recommendation for companies looking to improve HR processes and better manage their workforce overall.
Cons
At times I find it really hard to navigate to the exact tab or menu I need while I am browsing the system. There are just too many clicks and the navigation can become frustrating.
