“Simple clocking paystubs tax documents”
Pros
Workday is really easy for clocking in and out, submitting time-off requests and pulling up pay stubs and tax documents whenever I need them.
Cons
What bothers me is that if I miss punching in or out during the day, I am forced to wait until the end of my shift to correct the time which is inconvenient. For example, when I realize I forgot to clock back in after lunch, I wish the system would let me edit the punch right away instead of making me wait until I clock out for the whole day to make that manual change.

“Easy navigation between time sections”
Pros
It is really easy to move between the different time-management sections. Also I can pull a high-level snapshot or dig into details like time per week, vacation balances, weekly time displays and even down to specifics such as remaining hours and break durations, etc.
Cons
The daily check-in/out layout is pretty confusing and difficult to scan. When I take several breaks in a single day, it's challenging to quickly spot those periods on the calendar. Also I cannot view my ongoing work time as the app only shows the time since my last check-in.

“payroll access made simple”
Pros
So i log in and log out of it for work tasks, view my profile and personal information and check my payroll anytime, without any issue. The mobile access is a big plus since I can use it through my phone as well. I can also download my payslips whenever I need them which really helps for important paperwork.
Cons
Cant think of any real downside, it's been very helpful for me and I'm using it every day.

“highly useful”
Pros
I really enjoy how useful this software is. It helps me manage my time better by taking some of my tasks off my plate which keeps everything running more efficiently. I also feel confident in the company behind it so I'm happy to recommend it to anyone looking for something dependable.
Cons
Wish there was an option to include vacation pay so it would cover that detail as well.

“Leave applying is not a problem”
Pros
Applying for leave is really easy although the annual review process gets a little messy when I am editing fonts but overall it works okay.
Cons
the system needs to be set up carefully by the organization because otherwise some page layouts don't display correctly or look awkward.

“Excellent software”
Pros
Can view my payroll, W-2s, schedule and time & attendance all in one place, plus request time off through the app... honestly that kind of access is something everyone should have. It's been really impressive how simple it feels and I've never run into any problems using it. I've relied on it for 5+ years without issues.
Cons
There's nothing I dislike about the app, it's just great.

“simple workflows for absences”
Pros
Using this has felt pretty simple. It includes a solid set of tools for handling employee information, plus onboarding time tracking and payroll are all built in. I also appreciate being able to enter absences and holidays ahead of time and then adjust them later if anything needs correcting.
Cons
A few tasks are a bit dated because there's no dedicated back or "go back" option so we end up returning to the main menu to continue.

“Engaging interface streamlines internal hiring”
Pros
As adaptability is a challenge for many companies, I really like how Workday makes things simpler as its portal is easyto use. From my experience coming from MIS that my company used before, I found the interface to be more engaging. I also notice it links well with a wide range of external applications and it noticeably streamlines our internal hiring workflows.
Cons
Because the system displays so many icons and menu choices, I sometimes struggle to locate a specific document or screen. It would really help if there were a more powerful or advanced search feature to cut through the clutter and make finding things quicker and less frustrating.

“Great tracking”
Pros
Has been genuinely dependable and runs pretty efficiently. The interface is simple to move through... switching between tabs feels simple and it's clear where to upload documents or search for job openings. I also appreciate the referral tracking since you can see how far referrals have progressed in the application process. There's a helpful view of your history and company profile too, plus how other people might evaluate your profile when you're considering opportunities like promotions. Another nice touch is the document request feature, once you ask for a file, you can usually get it within a couple of hours. Overall, it's low-friction and the platform performance stays solid.
Cons
One small improvement would be adding two-way authentication for mobile access. Based on what I've seen, the domain seems to be accessible mainly from a registered company computer so having a more secure mobile login flow would make things smoother.

“simplifies everything for us”
Pros
Being able to handle things on my own is something I really appreciate and Workday lets me do that so I don't have to depend on someone else to locate what I need. I particularly like checking my tax details and viewing past pay stubs whenever I want.
Cons
I cannot get the app to save my passwords for some reason so I am forced to log in and authenticate each time. I'd really like it to recognize my device so signing in would be much quicker and less of a hassle.

“Time-saving solution”
Pros
Workday is great for handling daily activities and automating much of the work an admin or HR department usually does. What I used to do manually, like verifying the time and dates of individual employees using tens of timecards, can now be done very easily using the schedule review feature of Workday. Some things that take time to generate or load can be set to notify us when they are complete, like tax forms and pay stubs. It works very smoothly, and I have no complaints with its stability.
Cons
Changing time card information is not that easy with Workday. A lot needs to be done before I can finalize the timecard. For example, if someone missed punching their exit time, the timecard would not allow you to change it unless theres an entry. That necessitates approaching the HR department or the employee to obtain an accurate time, which I manually enter in the card before proceeding with the changes. This is a hurdle in the schedule I run every day since night shift staff mostly forget to clock out due to fatigue and tiredness, which means I have to repeat the process every day.

“Single place for employer details”
Pros
Workday serves as a single place where I can access all the details tied to my current employer, including personal information and pay/remuneration records. It comes bundled with apps that handle onboarding, Active Directory, etc. and it keeps track of the company hierarchy, employee benefits, plus overall rewards and perks for the fiscal year.
Cons
I have noticed that when Workday is connected to other applications, like Contingent Management, it has to be kept in sync with the latest contract information. otherwise my domain account can be disabled and I end up losing access to every application that was assigned to me within the system.

“Non-technical staff able to learn with ease”
Pros
The ease of use is outstanding. People from any academic background, including non-technical staff, can get up to speed on the Workday application with minimal training because the interface is user friendly and there are no obscure transaction codes to memorize. Overall our entire HCM workflow has become noticeably simpler and more efficient than it was before.
Cons
When several messages are sent simultaneously, I have noticed problems with downstream processing. Also PECI doesn't reliably pick up HR processes that involve multiple transactions which causes failures or missed updates in our integrations.

“customizable across our global operations”
Pros
It is user friendly and fully adaptable to our needs. Because my company operates across various industries around the globe, having software that can be tailored is crucial. Plus I have found that Workday makes it simple to integrate the other apps we use across the business with the platform.
Cons
At this point I don't really have any complaints about Workday. Since I haven't had to reach out to customer support for any problems, I am unsure how dependable that aspect of the service would be if I ever needed help.

“essential part for our workflow”
Pros
I cannot emphasize enough how important it is for data to be easily reportable, shareable and consolidated into a single source of truth. I rely on Workday to deliver that capability for our organization and I like that it keeps evolving and rolling out upgrades to continually improve the user experience.
Cons
I find it fairly expensive and high-maintenance but you truly get out what you put into the system. If my organization isn't prepared to invest both in the product and in the people to support it, the platform won't be able to deliver on all of its potential.
