“offers full visibility and allows managing data”
Pros
For me Workday gives employees full visibility and I find it much easier for managers to locate the data they need. it also offers a way to distribute training and run reports on it.
Cons
the training module a bit clunky to navigate. The interface is alright yet I think it needs more usability improvements.

“Simple setup helps efficient recruiting”
Pros
Workday is very easy to work with as setup was simple, the interface is fast and it helps our HR team work more efficiently. I use it to manage recruiting, attract great candidates and handle every step of the hiring process smoothly and securely.
Cons
I don't have any criticisms to add. In my experience Workday is a capable and efficient platform that supports our company's internal HR strategy and helps strengthen the department's contribution to organizational goals.

“Complete tools !! no other platform needed”
Pros
From my experience Workday delivers the complete set of tools for handling internal staff, payroll/compensation and recruiting. I don't have to look for any other HR platform because it provides every essential module that our team would ever require.
Cons
I found that customizing the system demands significant effort and is fairly complex to accomplish. You'll need an internal team to manage module customizations. specifically, hiring Workday developers or other customization specialists is essential because the workflows are extensive and quite involved.

“clean layout”
Pros
The level of organization and the screen layout feel really clean and not distracting. I also like that it lets you track your certifications and feedback over the years of employment in one place. Consistent positive feedback has been a huge help as an icebreaker in interviews when you're going for the next step in your career.
Cons
Some of the terminology is tough for an entry-level manager to fully understand even with the job aids. It would make the experience better across all platforms if there were short videos that walk you through each step-by-step action for your specific company.

“handy payroll and leave tracking”
Pros
This app is designed to help both employers and employees stay on top of key benefits, attendance, leave balances and the employee payroll system. As an employee, I can view my payroll in just a few clicks. Filing a leave is also simple through the online website or the mobile app. There's a guided calendar that shows how many leaves are available which makes it easier to plan ahead... whether it's vacation leaves or sick leave. Overall, it saves a lot of time and supports a more eco friendly, less paper based setup for the company.
Cons
At first, the interface felt a bit hard to navigate but once you spend a little time getting used to it, everything becomes much more manageable..

“powerful features”
Pros
It feels like much more than a basic HR system, there are plenty of extra features and integrations that actually come in handy for everyday work.

“excellent payroll tracking”
Pros
Keeping track of both your work hours and your available PTO feels simple. It also lets you review open positions from a single place instead of juggling multiple systems. Payroll and W 2 tracking are quick to manage too... especially when you need to make updates.. and goal tracking stays organized within the same platform.
Cons
No issues so far, there isn't anything in this software I dislike.

“saves time”
Pros
Lets us shift control to employees so they can track their time and submit expenses. Also, management can clearly see the time off/ time request details and approve them without too much hassle.
Cons
Occasionally, the platform won't let certain people perform tasks they've been able to do historically. There are also times when progress doesn't save properly and the system unexpectedly logs you out.

“Powerful platform”
Pros
At my company, we rely on Workday HCM as a very powerful, comprehensive HR platform that covers most of our HR-related needs. Since it lives in the cloud, updates roll out instantly and all employees can see frequent changes as they happen which keeps everyone aligned. I also like that Workday is widely used across different organizations so there's a wealth of user guides, tutorials and online help that make getting around the system much easier. In my experience it's great for learning and development, employee management and records, performance management, career planning, benefits administration and it provides clear, predictable approval workflows for both employees and managers.
Cons
Personally, I don't have many negatives to point out about Workday but the biggest drawback for me is the cost. It's pricey and mostly organizations the size of ours can realistically afford it. I have noticed smaller startups tend to opt for newer, more affordable HCM/HRM alternatives. I wish the pricing structure could be adjusted or made more flexible for small businesses so adoption would be easier.

“Manage workflows without hopping systems”
Pros
I have found Workday offers powerful features that let you manage whole workflows inside the platform from hiring and compensation to benefits and payroll without hopping between systems. The experience feels smooth and delivers strong outcomes.
Cons
In my experience the main drawback is it requires a number of different people to maintain segregation of duties so it isn't ideal for very small teams. Also deployment can be lengthy often taking six months up to a full year to complete.

“easy to use”
Pros
The payroll feature stands out for me, employees can view a clear breakdown, including bonus details provided by the organization. It also includes a solid attendance tracking system that handles daily time tracking without hassle.
Cons
I haven't run into any real problems. Still, for if youre new, there may be a bit of a learning curve though it feels manageable.

“User-friendly all in one tool”
Pros
Workday HCM feels very user-friendly and accessible to me. It is also affordable and brings excellent functionality, a wide range of capabilities and seamless integration with other talent management systems, LMS platforms and so on. For example, you can run internal training if you integrate an LMS. From my account I can quickly pull up employee records, oversee talent development, handle payroll and more. The interface is user friendly too and I like it because it's such a powerful, all in one solution that lets me conduct online training for every member of my staff. The reports it produces are highly detailed. Plus through it I can retrieve data on any employee even by linking to their social media profiles and I can manage payments and many other tasks in a single place.
Cons
I haven't run into any downsides. In fact both I and my team find it simple and easy to use.

“easy document uploads and weekly checks”
Pros
When I am uploading work documents, I appreciate how easy it is to find training materials and tutorials. Every week without fail I log my hours and check the system to see if any tasks or events are coming up.
Cons
I don't find it overly complicated but getting the hang of it took me a while and I especially struggle when trying to reverse earlier changes I made.

“Convenient time tracking”
Pros
Almost every feature has been solid for us.. time tracking, recruitment workflows, employee onboarding, along with the alerts and approval steps. It covers the main HR processes without feeling patchy.
Cons
Only area that could be tightened up is the Q&A forms. Customization options could be expanded and there should be more flexibility overall.

“Recruiting tools are the best”
Pros
What I find most valuable are the recruiting tools, the integrated HCM module and the ability to view company details and employee records.
Cons
As a recruiter, I get frustrated because it's extremely click-heavy and can actually complicate basic tasks. I also wish it had tighter integration with job platforms like Indeed, LinkedIn and Hired since many applicants don't apply through the careers page. That forces me to manually create or import profiles which eats up a lot of time.

“accurate results”
Pros
It's really adaptive to use. When the reporting structure changes or anything needs reorganizing, I can move a staff member to a different org structure in just a few clicks which is honestly impressive. The whole flow feels organized and quick.
Cons
Holiday calculation would be better if it displayed the results as number of days. Right now, it's a bit difficult to work out and the information isn't super simple to locate so I end up doing the math myself. It would also help if it could show the holiday count in both hours and days.

“Cloud-based but navigation seems off”
Pros
It gives me a clear overview of the range of tools available to simplify and enhance my day-to-day tasks. I am able to manage my work items in the system on my own not just expense claims but even setting annual objectives, recording feedback and similar entries. Because it's cloud-based, I find accessing these features much more convenient since I can reach them from different locations and devices without hassle.
Cons
At times the user experience feels lacking in certain areas. I often hunt for features or documents I remember seeing 'somewhere' before but then cannot relocate them which makes the navigation feel clunky and in need of redesign. I have also noticed that messages I have already opened remain marked as unread and the control to mark them read is tucked away and hard to find. Overall several workflows could be streamlined.
