“fantastic features and usability”
Pros
Love this software and the full set of features. Everything feels fairly user friendly, simple, self explanatory and it even helps when you're touring a lot, including the availability and use of subtitles.
Cons
Nothing that I dislike about it. The features and overall experience have been wonderful.

“well-organized UI”
Pros
Really like how the information is organized here, it feels logical and simple to navigate which makes it genuinely simple to work with.
Cons
Quite a bit of setup required before all the features are fully functional so you have to spend some time getting everything configured to truly benefit from what it offers.

“everything is easily searchable”
Pros
The platform ties together HR workflows across the whole organization really well so processes feel seamless from hiring to offboarding. The mobile app is also good and user-friendly and within the desktop software it's pretty easy for me to search for specific HR processes and move around. Everything is searchable so I don't have to memorize steps or keep reaching for manuals.
Cons
When I am setting up integrations with SAP or payroll and other third-party solutions, it often takes much more time than I'd expect. I wish the product's APIs were stronger and more complete so I could manage these connections myself without bringing in outside consultants or spending so many hours.

“allows comprehensive reporting”
Pros
I am impressed by how powerful Workday's cloud-based platform is and the reporting is very comprehensive.

However I find the sheer number of configurations overwhelming at times and there can be occasional lag when pages are loading.

“Connects applications to onboard crewmembers”
Pros
What I like is how well the system connects with our other applications and how simple it is to onboard new crewmembers.
Cons
I have noticed that on occasion new crewmembers don't receive their onboarding invitation immediately which can hold up the process.

“Simple interface creates custom reports”
Pros
I find the interface simple and it's easy to create custom reports.

There are no help tutorials available unless my organization supplies a Workday Community account and in my experience getting that account is not so easy at all.

“I loved it”
Pros
Acts as a centralized workforce management system in my organization. From within the platform, employees can handle key day to day HR tasks like applying for leave, getting those requests approved by a manager and then viewing or downloading salary slips. It also supports items such as IT declarations, beneficiary details, address information, education records and more. Also, you can directly request important documents, offer letters and experience letters, for example, right through it. Since it's cloud based, it's also accessible from anywhere which makes it convenient for people who aren't always in the office.
Cons
The platform is on the pricey side and in practice, seems geared more toward larger enterprises rather than smaller teams. There's also a learning curve, the UI can feel confusing at first, who may struggle to locate the right sections and navigate efficiently at first.

“recommended!”
Pros
We've got a lot of employees who are uneasy about change and new technology and it really helps. The interface is simple and most people pick it up quickly enough to feel confident using it day to day.
Cons
There's room to improve how Learning content and the library are organized, plus payroll could use expanded features to better support union rates and fringes.

“clean interface”
Pros
Interface feels really polished and it's simple to jump to the key info without hunting around. Having learning, payments and time off request features all grouped in one place has been a big help for keeping everything organized.
Cons
Navigation can feel a bit inconsistent and it doesn't always read as adaptive. I use "My Learning" way more than any other area but it never appears in the quick tasks panel. To get to learning details, I end up needing to click "View all apps" every time.

“Tweaking everything saves time later”
Pros
Being able to tweak almost every part of it from reports and employee records to business workflows and approval chains has made it an indispensable tool for HR and many other teams I work with. Setting up integrations with benefits providers, payroll platforms and the like can be a bit time-consuming upfront but I have found that investing that effort pays off by saving huge amounts of time and hassle down the road.
Cons
Even though most components of the platform can be configured, I have run into built-in reports and workflows that cannot be modified. In certain cases I cannot export specific pieces of data from those delivered reports which is frustrating. Still, I am optimistic that with each new release Workday will keep improving and listen to customer feedback.

“Clean dashboard guides step by step”
Pros
I really like that it's so easy to use above all else. There isn't a lot of clutter that would throw me off. So when I log in I can quickly find where I need to be. The dashboard shows clear menu options that walk me through what I need to do step by step.
Cons
I'd like the option to fill in the entire month's timesheet with a single click when the fields and attendance are the same as the previous period. it's really convenient that there's already a week view for this.

“Solid hr integration”
Pros
Workday isn't flawless but it's genuinely the best HCM software I've used so far. It lets you pull nearly every HR function into a single platform which makes it much easier to manage everything in one place. The employee self service side is also very simple to use.
Cons
Even though the platform is powerful, implementation can take a lot of time and effort... especially when you're adding and deploying new modules. That challenge gets worse if you don't have a knowledgeable their team assigned specifically to the project. I've been on smaller rollout teams where we had to figure things out as we went along and it was painful. I've also worked with consultants who handle the work end to end which is much smoother. Overall, I'd strongly suggest bringing in experts for the setup since you're paying a premium for the software and you'll want it configured correctly to get the full value.

“easy to use”
Pros
Overall, the features I like most are how simple it is to use and how well Kasey seems to work for queens of all ages. With the wide range of features, it's also great for keeping an eye on long term data, like tax details, plus time tracking for individual employees as well as the business overall.
Cons
There isn't really anything I like least about the software. Since it's so simple to use, there haven't been any real complaints.

“Easy access to personal records”
Pros
The thing I like is that I can easily access my personal records and explore the organization's structure whenever I need to which makes managing my information pretty easy.
Cons
That said, I find that getting the tool to align with how our company actually operates requires fairly complex configuration such as things like special approval flows, changes to reporting lines, country-specific indexing and other detailed settings.

“Must-have business starter toolkit”
Pros
If you're even considering launching a business, whether small or bigger, this is a must have. It includes pretty much everything you need to support some of the most important parts of running a company so it feels like a solid foundation right from the start.
Cons
Honestly it's hard to point out a real downside. The only limitation is that it may not be worth using constantly if your company has fewer than about 20 employees.
