User-friendly dashboards for everyone

Pros

Workday interface is very user-friendly. Also the platform looks good and I can easily get around whether I am acting as an employee or manager. The dashboards and self-service tools let me handle day to day tasks without hassle.

Cons

In my experience Workday HCM feels like a high-end solution and I have noticed that expenses can balloon once you add extra modules, integrations or hire consultants.

Everything in one place simple

Pros

What I like about this tool is how simple it is and that everything is in one place so I do not have to switch between different apps to request time off or submit expenses.

Cons

I am not a fan of the interface. it feels somewhat old-fashioned and isn't very visually appealing but from my perspective it still does what I need it to do which is ultimately the important part.

One thing I really like about Workday HCM is how smoothly the time-tracking review and editing process operates making adjustments quick and hassle-free.

Cons

So far not many complaints about the Workday HCM application overall although I ran into some trouble when setting up my account at first. fortunately, customer support stepped in and helped me resolve the issue quickly.

Single system replaces multiple tools

Pros

It bundles everything into a single system such as HR, recruiting, talent management and a bunch of other features so I don't have to juggle different tools.

Cons

On the downside it's got a steep upfront price tag that I think makes it a poor fit for many small businesses, often pushing them to seek cheaper alternatives.

Readable interface stays navigable after changes

Pros

The interface very readable and easy to navigate and even after making changes I could still locate links quickly without any confusion.

Cons

At times extra links were tucked away. I had to choose 'VIEW EXTRA APPs to access additional fields and while the dropdown menus cover everything, I sometimes struggle to work through them.

Wide HR tools with clear tutorials

Pros

One thing I really like about it is that it offers a wide range of tools covering nearly every HR need an organization might have and the language it uses is clear and easy to follow. I also appreciate that there are tutorials for steps that need extra guidance. Plus I value the ability to connect it with many other apps through integrations which makes it more flexible.

Cons

I have noticed the platform can be quite slow and sometimes becomes unresponsive which I find pretty frustrating when I am trying to get work done. In addition, the interface can feel somewhat complex and overwhelming on occasion, especially when I am navigating it for the first time or handling more advanced tasks.

Pros

The real-time payroll information is the best as it does an excellent job of keeping employees up to date on their pay details.

Cons

When I need to dig into the system it can be pretty complicated but I can rely on Workday experts to help me navigate it.

Pros

Honestly I am a big fan of Workday HCM as it's simplified my daily tasks. I rely on it for all my job-related activities and it consistently delivers more than I expect.

Cons

Mobile app simplifies expense reporting

Pros

Workday is good and user-friendly especially the mobile app. Plus it makes filing expense reports and checking paychecks simple and always within reach.

Cons

What frustrates me most is the Most Used Apps section on the home screen as it just doesn't make sense. I use the mobile app all the time for things like expense reports and checking my pay but those never show up in my top three and I cannot change what appears there. Instead, the app always shows Time Tracking, Absence and Org Chart none of which I have ever needed. It would be much more useful if that section actually reflected how I use the app so shortcuts to Expense Reports and Pay were right there. Right now, it feels like a missed opportunity for real personalization and smoother workflow.

Pros

Using Workday I have found it to be quite user-friendly. Navigating around is pretty easy too, even if you're not particularly tech-savvy or confident with new software.

Cons

Pros

It is fast, simple to manage and very user-friendly. Plus having both a desktop and mobile app is a big plus and it is just as easy for managers as it is for staff.

Cons

No issues to report. it delivers on its promises and is easy to use. I cannot think of anything I'd want to change.

Cons

Efficient time tracking with benefits view

Pros

I am really impressed by how efficient and well-organized the system is. Also it is easy to locate the clock-in/clock-out control and I appreciate being able to view my benefits without having to navigate away from the same page.

What I appreciate most about Workday HCM is that it brings together all the HR and work tools I use most often into a single location which makes managing tasks much easier.

Cons

Cons

pretty simple and nice tool

Pros

Over time I have used Workday to apply for internal jobs, submit referrals and eventually complete mid-year and year-end reviews. up to now I like the platform, it isn't too complicated.

Cons

One of the biggest drawbacks I experienced was the lack of an autosave feature. You know how year-end reviews demand we spend valuable time and energy composing our responses. Picture this, my manager messaged me mid-write, I stepped away for about five minutes, then returned to find my session had timed out and none of my thoughts were saved! That was seriously frustrating but they recently implemented autosave and now I am much happier using it now, honestly.

Clear workflow with integrated feedback tools

Pros

Logging invoices is much easier than with the old system. Also the workflow is clear and simple to use. It also brings HR tools together in one place, letting me set goals, schedule company-wide reminders and collect employee feedback through Peakon.

Cons

I used to have problems where the older software wouldn't save my goals and struggled with uploads but most of those glitches have been addressed so the system feels a lot easier to use now.

As a Workday user, I really like how clean and simple the interface feels. Also it's easy for someone new to pick up and that makes getting around the site quick and painless.

Cons

Cons
