“navigation needs work”
Pros
Reporting offers almost unlimited options for pulling reports on the key stuff you care about. You can grab just about anything and when the data is clean at the point it enters the system, the output lands in an Excel file that's genuinely readable. Linear Process Maps are also a highlight, when you set them up correctly the first time, the workflows come across really clearly, with processes laid out in a structured way. There's also an employee landing page that looks bright, vibrant and presentable.
Cons
Performance feels tiring, pages can be quite slow and the redundant graphics noticeably drag down transitions. Report generation takes a while too especially when you're trying to pull something fairly standard in size. Navigation is inconsistent, back buttons show up on some pages but not others so if you click the wrong thing you end up having to return to the home page to recover. Hyperlinks don't follow any obvious logic in the platform which can send you down rabbit holes when you're trying to follow a paper trail to the final result.

“smart tool”
Pros
After our company switched to this tool, the overall experience has been genuinely positive. The UI looks awesome and feels polished and elegant. It's also highly adaptive, everything is laid out in a smart way with clear categories so finding the right section doesn't take much effort. Detailed information is easy to access and can be manipulated without too much hassle. Using it from a phone to edit info works well too. I also appreciate the ability to fetch custom reports, plus the option to search for anyone in the organization to view their details and quickly understand the company hierarchy. Goals are simple to comment on for managers and the platform supports a lot of training content within the learning section.
Cons
Even though the user interface is simple overall, a few options can be tricky to locate. Editing data isn't always easy sometimes it's hard to find the edit address and other related options and that flow could be made a bit more simple. Occasionally the navigation feels confusing because it's not always obvious which category a specific option falls under, adding a short summary under each category on the home page would help a lot. Training availability on the tool could also be improved. Plus, any changes sometimes require approvals from HR or relevant managers which can slow things down.

“time tracking works well”
Pros
Entering my worked hours and submitting time-off requests feels simple and the workflow seems to work well for my coworkers too. I'm able to revise entries without much hassle and then submit them directly to my supervisor. Another helpful part is the reminder feature that nudges everyone to keep their information updated and we use it regularly. I also appreciate the Quicklinks option... it saves time when you're trying to find something quickly. Also, the payroll section has been genuinely useful for me since I can look back at past paychecks whenever I need to.
Cons
The downside is that the overall process can get a bit tiring. When I update something, my changes have to be routed through upper management before they're finalized. The goals and self appraisal portion was especially confusing, with several steps that didn't feel clearly justified. It would've been better if everything were handled directly online, instead of requiring us to upload a Word document for goals and appraisals.

“simple time-off management”
Pros
Using this tool has been pretty simple. It makes it simple to request time off and handle other employment-related tasks as well.
Cons
I can't really think of any downsides although I don't have another system to compare it with and I'm using it as an employee rather than as an admin.

“clear layout”
Pros
The layout is organized in a very visual way which makes the system simple to navigate. It's quick to locate the information you need without much effort. I didn't end up using the customer support side of the program so I can't really speak to that. I'm also not familiar with the pricing so I can't judge the value but overall it has been a solid product.
Cons
One part that could be improved is the scheduling module which felt a bit less adaptive to use. It can look like a leave request has already been submitted but there are still extra steps required.

“useful for goals”
Pros
Getting around this software is pretty simple. It works well for tracking performance goals and is also helpful for handling a range of HR tasks.
Cons
A frustrating bit is that it logs out or times out pretty fast which gets annoying. It can also send you into a circular loop when you're trying to get to a specific page.

“easy to navigate”
Pros
This software has a clean, simple interface that makes the overall experience pleasant. Everything is laid out in a simple way so it's easy to navigate and understand.
Cons
What needs improvement is the search feature. When I'm looking for something specific, keyword searches don't always return relevant suggestions.

“UI is good”
Pros
Compared with the older system we were using, this one has a much cleaner interface and the features are simple enough to understand. I was also able to submit leave and have it approved automatically by my manager which was a nice benefit.
Cons
Getting it implemented was a very bumpy process. Our HR systems were down for three days and with 5,000 employees depending on them, it came close to being a disaster.

“Amazing software”
Pros
Right away, the software felt very user-friendly and approachable. Setting up the payroll features helped create a fast and accurate way to track and submit payroll and the reporting tools have been especially valuable for my managers.
Cons
One area that has been disappointing is customer support. During setup, I ended up speaking with several different representatives and they often gave different answers to the same or very similar questions.

“user friendly”
Pros
Getting around the system is very simple and the search feature does a really good job of helping you find information quickly. It's especially helpful for employees who aren't familiar with HRIS software since the platform feels very approachable.
Cons
At times, when a lot of people are in the system at once, performance tends to slow down. Also, customer service can sometimes be frustrating to deal with.

“quick requests”
Pros
Handles a lot in one place and the tasks are really simple to complete. Being able to submit my mileage and time-off requests quickly was one of the things I appreciated most.
Cons
Works best when you already know who is responsible for approving what you submit since that's the person you'll need to contact if you have any questions.

“my review..”
Pros
Entering performance goals and monitoring their progress is very simple. The approval workflow connects well with upper management, executive and company-level goals and the managers above me are notified automatically without any extra effort.
Cons
One part that became a little confusing was that our company does not require certain information fields so when I was asked to explain how my personal performance goals connected to broader business goals especially someone above my level, it was not completely clear.

“five stars”
Pros
Everything is laid out without any confusing menus so getting to what you need usually takes just one click. We've been using it to check payslips, update contact details, submit feedback and handle other basic tasks without any hassle.
Cons
Using SAFE (Secure Access for Everyone) credentials makes sense from a security standpoint but the login process into Workday takes longer than it should. It would be much more convenient if signing in could be done with just a preferred email address instead.

“workday makes payroll simple”
Pros
Using the WorkDay app has been a big plus for me. I rely on it every day to clock in and out and to submit my weekly time card and the layout is clear and simple. One of the most helpful parts is being able to search my payslips by date, then download or export them whenever I need to. Requesting time off or sick leave and keeping track of those balances is also very convenient.
Cons
A downside is that some functions are restricted to managers. For instance, once time has already been submitted, employees can't go back in and make changes themselves. That becomes really frustrating when it's just a minor correction, like accidentally entering a check-in time as PM instead of AM.

“all-in-one hr companion”
Pros
Right away, the interface feels well designed. It's user-friendly and getting around the system is simple. Overall, I'd say it covers just about everything needed for HR in one app, from leave requests, merits and employment history to personal details and pay slips. I also really appreciate the org chart feature since it lets employees clearly see where they fit within the organization.
Cons
Something that can be frustrating is that the app sometimes works outside the office network and sometimes it doesn't which feels inconsistent. The verification step also takes a bit of time. It would also look better if sections with lots of tabs or information had a more polished and visually appealing tab layout.

“clean ui”
Pros
From the first screen, the interface feels clean and welcoming. Workday lays out each category clearly so it's simple to find exactly what you need and move to the right section without any confusion. Having everything in one place is a big plus too, whether I'm checking time off, compensation, goal setting or the org structure. I've used this software at several different jobs and every time it has been quick to learn and very adaptive to use.
Cons
Over the past couple of years using this software, I really haven't run into any problems. I'd absolutely recommend it to larger companies that need an HCM system.

“reliable and simple labor tracking”
Pros
Using it has been very simple since it's responsive, simple and user-friendly. It handles everything I need without errors or coding problems and overall it's a really solid, uncomplicated labor tracking tool.
Cons
Interface does feel a little rough around the edges though that's not the reason I use it. It would definitely benefit from a cleaner, more polished design.

“hidden tools”
Pros
The interface is fairly simple to use and it comes with a lot of functionality. The reports are especially very good.
Cons
Challenge is actually locating all of the available reports because many of them feel tucked away. It is also hard to get to features that are not shown on the dashboard and I was unaware of probably 75% of the tools available to me. Better help bubbles would really help here and instead of having to drill down from the dashboard, it would be useful if the system asked what you are trying to do and then guided you to the right feature.

“works well”
Pros
Uploading my CV was really helpful because the system read the content and filled in the form automatically. The way each section was laid out was also very clear and simple to follow.
Cons
I noticed that when the application form was auto-filled, it kept the paragraph formatting from my original file so I still had to adjust it afterward. It would be even better if it could transfer the content while matching the formatting of the application form automatically.

“Confusing payroll access”
Pros
One thing that works well is how versatile it is. It lets you handle several tasks in one place, including payroll, benefits and goals which makes it convenient to have everything together.
Cons
Getting into payroll can be frustrating because the lockout periods feel too long and entering time is sometimes a little confusing to figure out.
